Hello, I ran into a problematic brick on my L5...nothing seems to work to unbrick it.
I followed the guides step by step using the KDZ updater and the appropriate firmware for my country, but it doesn't work.
How I bricked it:
I had CM10 installed and perfectly running for a month, so today I decided to attempt an overclock to speed the device up a bit.
So, I downloaded and installed the modded kernel, flashed it using CWM and rebooted the device. After that, the device just keep booting up, showing the LG logo and then a black screen.
Now, after trying to flash the old firmware after going into download mode it just stops on the LG logo with the flare (sun ray effect) spinning around the logo all the time...It's been like that for almost 30 minutes now. I attempted re-flashing it 3 times but nothing seems to work.
What do I do?
Thank you in advance.
It's bootloop. When I had L5 I had the same problem after flashing bricked phone via KDZ.
Do hard reset with key combination. It worked for me. Phone will boot up few minutes.

Have you tried it:
Hold together volumn (-) + home button, then turn the power on
sorry for the delay, The phone was dead so I send it to the warranty and they send it to LG and then returned working so I just had to reroot it and update it again

This is what I get when I connect the phone by USB.
I just cant get into emergency, DIAG or emergency CS
KDZ the phone connects and then I get a message afterwards PHONE NOT FOUND.
everytime I install the drivers by LG support tool, it keeps giving me the option to install the driver, like I havent done it a hundred times over.
I think there should be a driver somewhere that can be installed but the only people that have this driver are LG tech's. So they can bill you after
send the phone in cause you rooted it. So the one billion dollar question is witch hero will find a way to unbrick this device. We only need a way
to get a driver to install and we are home free. Or maybe the only other option is throwing the phone for sale on internet for spare parts
HELP PLEASE HELP find a way to unbrick this phone. Believe me I flashed and bricked alot of different phones and there was a way out but in
with this phone it seems impossible!!
And there is no mode to put it in in because te volume buttons don't do crap, the home button also, the only time that the phone does show up is when windows tells me it has an unknown device that I for the love of god can't find a driver for. I tried SDK, the LG drivers, but no dice
Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, see if you can enter it and then flashing your stock firmware with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).
I have a big issue here with my LG G2 Original carrier is T-Mobile but the phone is unlocked, it's rooted , I restored LG stock from back up using recovery and flashed d802 instead of d801 hit system reboot and was greeted with a black screen fastboot udc and udc start , I've done some searching on this forum found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476&page=1, followed all of the steps but for some reason I get to as far as choosing the country and language upgrades starts and stops at 2% due to an unkown error , I've unistalled and reinstalled LG Mobile drivers still same error message, I put the phone into download mode but it device does not pop up on my computer is this phone done for or is it fixable I have no idea what else to try

I have the same problem, could you find a solution?
Please help
You need to flash your phone's original Jellybean (4.2) firmware, it is the only way that worked for me.
Hello,
I've looked for solutions everywhere and have spent the last days trying to fix my phone but i can't find a solution. Here is my problem:
I bought a second hand phone, it was working fine however it had been rooted and was running on Cyanogen.
I therefore tried to revert this to a stock EU ROM I downloaded. I was able to do this through the LGMobile Support Tool.
However when the process completed, my phone was stuck in a reboot loop on the LG logo. So I went back to the LGMobile Support Tool and selected 'Upgrade Recovery'.
After completing this, my phone was still stuck on the loop, but now I'm unable to access download mode, or recovery mode.
My phone is detected in device manager as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COM4) and LGE AndroidNet USB Modem when plugged in.
I don't know what to do? Please help.
This is now resolved thanks to bender_007

Try wiping through stock recovery mode (hold volume down and power, wait for lg logo then hold volume up and volume down-without power button)

Hello all,
Recently My LG G2 broke for no reason . I was playing music and then it just stopped working. Then it stuck at booting loop logo.
Then I tried LGFlash tools 2014 with AU Vodafone D802T30a_00.kdz. It started firmware update but there was some error came in and asked me to remove battery and connect to micro USB again and retry.
But It did not work and stuck at the firmware upgrade screen.
Then I tried using SRKtools_2.1_droidth.zip, and tried to unbrick it. but I think it did not work properly. I remember my phone is not rooted.
Currently if I try to start my phone I see only LG logo and then it turns off.
If I try to connect it to the laptop, it opens lost of different drives and asks me to format but doesn't allow formatting due to write protection.
I tried to root the device using SRK tools but it is not recongnising device or asks me to select device in manual mode.
Can some one please help me in this situation. I want make my phone back in Life....
THank you
AMoL
Hello,
Recently i was given a LG L Fino to try to bring back to life. Something that i was not very successful up to now.
When the device is turned on it only loads up to the LG logo loading screen and freezes there. The hard resent back buttons combination and the download mode are non operational as well. In particular the download mode shows error:
Secure booting Error!
Cause : boot certification verify
meaning that flashing the stock .kdz image wont be possible.
I had revised some of the possible hardbrick fixes available in the forum but non of them worked as well. Trying to scan and flash the .tot files, with BoardDiag, was also not possible as the phone was not properly recognized by my machine and i did not manage to find the exact com port. I had tried a few but with no success.
If you have any suggestions i would be very happy and thankful to hear and try them.
Thank you!
