Basically, if you still want to have working OTA updates, just use Magisk with systemless Xposed (yes, it's required) and you are good to go

No, you got me wrong.
If you want to do some modifications to the system (for example as title of this thread says), you have to:
1. either use Magisk with systemless Xposed and GravityBox, or
2. reflash factory image every time you want to install an OTA update (without wiping userdata obviously).
If you don't want to do any modifications to the system or you're uncertain about how to do it, you better leave it as it is.

What you used as flashin tool? I did it with flashfire. An don't forget that you need Xposed installer apk first. I attach mine file but it must be the same as one I linked.

Hmmm the xposed installer seems to have fixed everything lol thank you
Looks like Samsung released a new OTA that fix some bugs on screen response.
I found a Chainfire app called FlashFire, looks like the solution: Flash a OTA without loose root and data.. looks great but I didn´t find any info about S7 Edge compatibility
¿Any information about that?
Thanks!

OTA: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G935F
I´m doing backup from FlashFire right now, just in case.

Yes cfroot doesn't wipe the phone.
So with flashfire you can backup the whole phone and it works with encryption unlike twrp?

Hello guys, look, I'm from Switzerland and my Operator is "Sunrise". Could you please help me in what Firmware should I download cuz there isn't anyone for my operator. Do you have any solution ? Should I also backup any folder like the "CSC" folder or something ?
Thanks again
What's a good adblocker? I've tried Adaway but It doesn't work.
If you're using AdAway without root, you're right, it doesn't work. With root, it works fine.
If you don't have (or don't want) root, you can try Adguard: https://adguard.com/en/adguard-android/overview.html
AdAway works great for me. make sure you have updated your host file. If you are having issues with specific ads, you may need to manually add them to your blacklist.

Yes and no. The version you refer to is from Mar of 17 while the latest one on Sammobile is Dec of 16. But if you use Odin to install the Dec 16 ROM you will be back to stock and if there is a later version available from Samsung, it should install OTA.
edit: I found the Mar 17 version here.
You don't need to remove twrp. Just use the unroot option in SuperSU settings.
in the end i used smart switch on the pc i'm stock again. thks for all your help hugz

Look, I'm tired of playing the techno semantics game. It may not be a ROM but it certainly isn't an app you can install from Play Store and I DON'T WANT it.
