Looks like Samsung released a new OTA that fix some bugs on screen response.
I found a Chainfire app called FlashFire, looks like the solution: Flash a OTA without loose root and data.. looks great but I didn´t find any info about S7 Edge compatibility
¿Any information about that?
Thanks!

Yes cfroot doesn't wipe the phone.
So with flashfire you can backup the whole phone and it works with encryption unlike twrp?

Be aware that kingroot sends your IMEI number to an IP address in china. Only use this is you are happy with that

Also works on 690 sw version.
After reboot i still got root access.
No downgrade needed, i only installed kingroot.
Did just a short test with titanium, seems to work fine.
As now its already 2 am here, ill look into it tomorrow when im at work.
Thanks for sharing that information.
doesn't work completely. Su Binary semi-working (root access granted, but titanium for example doesn't show user apps. also nut recovery cannot be installed, as the installer doesn't know kingroot su.) and building up an internet connection to china.
How to change the language?
Can you tell me how to change the king root language to English. So i can able to do task.

Well, i don't see your point now.
You can just root using the KingRoot payload and then replace kingroot with supersu, since you have writeaccess to system.
I'd installed King Root on a 23.1.A.0.726 - got root with it, installed dualrecovery, falshed the same FW as prerooted, removed king root and use now supersu
Very easy and short way.
Edit: forget what i said, didnt work

So you have all options required to do what you need within the all such as wipe etc. If flashing any firmware, yes you'll have to reflash xposed. The great thing about the app is that you can put it in a queue to do it all at once so wipe, flash new firmware, flash xposed, done.

There is a good chance that autoroot for 5.1.1 will works for 6.0.1
It happens with autoroot for 910H.
Or, you can just flash twrp using odin, flash bootloader using odin, and this rom using twrp.

Here in xda
Hello everyone.
My phone did a self factory reset 2 weeks ago, and root was still there, but unsuable (if i accept or refuse, it will spam the pop up and will not do anything)
I flashed CF with Odin to root it again, but was stuck on samsung logo, even after 30min, so I removed battery.
After this, I'm kinda stuck. My internal storage (or the entire phone?) is on read-only, and I can't restorecon via adb because I don't have root permissions.
Should I flash this firmware on my phone to make it back to default? (root removed, internal storage still available and data not wiped)
Is there another solution?
Thanks !
If your phone was running a stock ROM, flashing the same stock ROM with Odin should leave the data intact.

I've smashed that thanks button, will flash the ROM on my phone and will come back for updates.
Quick update : flashing the ROM solved my problems with internal storage locked and root.
But I flashed the CF again, and it did the same problem.
Is it so old that there's no method to root a Note 3 4.4.2?
I managed to do it a long time ago, but don't remember what I've used.
Any help for that?
