You'd install it via TWRP. But as far as I know, it's not very usable at the moment.

Not it isn't usable what so ever, i tried flashing this and the screen wouldn't even work.
You're far better off, for now, just debloating and installing Nova Launcher, gets you as close as you can to a stock android feel. With the debloat you get back a lot of performance and battery life.

Did you installed a cm13 based rom before installing LineageOS 14.1 or did you installed it directly coming from cos 12.1? Please give some more details about your device, the rom versions and detailed steps of installation, maybe with links.
It sounds like the missing of drivers which is known if you don't follow install instructions.

You need to install a cm13 based rom first before LineageOS 14.1. Nuclearom or similar.

It still fails to flash.
I found out why, had to mount system first in TWRP for some reason.

Accidentally Flashed over my Boot.IMG !
I accidentally (Stupidly) flashed over my Boot.IMG with this REBORN BOOT.IMG For Ford Tablet on my Amazon Fire 2015 tablet. I have happily been running Lineage on the tablet for about 6 months. It is now stuck on the Amazon boot logo, and I can not boot to recovery, or see the device on my PC. I just wondered if anyone knows of a quick fix for this problem. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Is this not exactly what I´m supposed to do? Flash this REBORN BOOT.IMG over the boot.img? Maybe it would be helpful if op could say a few words to each fix, what it is good for and how to install it?
headphone jack
I have a problem since i unlocked the bootloader and then installed Lineage OS, my headphone jack stopped working.
When i had the stock rom it worked perfectly. I since tried to fix the problem with some software (to force switch to headphone mode, etc) or going back to stock rom wich i did, but it didn't work.
Is there a fix to this problem? or its some hardware thing that has been damaged?
Its weird because it was working perfectly until the unlock/flash. Also SD slot didnt work also but now i see there is a fix.
Anyway, thanks if you can help me. My device is Amazon Fire 7

@Ziona
First thing is that I am not sure if the reborn boot.img is even needed, so that's one thing. If it is needed, do you know if there is a way to apply both the reborn boot.img and the microsd card fix boot.img together to a single image if that makes sense?
I am under the impression that if I flash one of the 2 boot.img files above then flash the other one, the first one I flashed will be overwritten, thus undoing the changes in that file. Is it possible for you to combine the reborn image with the sd card fix image?
If you could help me figure out these details I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, really appreciate the work you are doing for the Ford, Austin etc...

Good evening everyone, I come to share with you this ROM which is still developed for our old but still functional Mi2/s.
I find it indeed surprising that nobody talks about it ... Especially that a version on Android 9 is fully supported.
I installed it for a while and everything works correctly even the GAPPS!
I do not prefer to put links to respect the developers, but if they come forward, it is with pleasure that I would put them following this subject.
So try Mokee!
hi, i tried 10 but didn't try 9.0..
10 has a camera problem; you get images 90 degree rotated.. didn't dig it too much and don't know if there is a solution..
instead installed flyme 6.x based on android 7.
it's flawless and much faster than miui..
but i may try mokee 9 someday soon..
thanks a lot.

Yes Mokee 10 is out there is really not a long time and is therefore experimental version for the moment.
But against the latest versions of Final Mokee 9 are really stable and fast.

Mokee 9 is stable and fast but there is battery drain.I've been using 9 a few months and finally i decided to go back to miui pro, a version i found on 4pda.Not so fast and old version of android (5) but at least i don't have to worry about battery.

finally tried it for a couple of days:
very smooth and complete rom but somewhat slow comparing to mokee 10 and the other roms..
there is a delay for a moment while opening, closing apps and between screen transltlons.
to be confirm, installed again (unceomplete) mokee 10 and difference is obvious to me on my mi2s..
hope they release a final version for 10 too..

i can confirm that battery drain is much faster than miui pro and flyme..
I also just tested the Miui Pro v9.2.3.0 and Flyme 6.8.3.17R ROMs.
Miui Pro:
The applications are launched generally quite quickly and the battery and indeed optimized.
The shortcomings are the absence of languages (no French for my part) and the dated aspect of the UI.
Flyme:
I like the interface of flyme that I know (I have a pro 5), on the other hand with this version, impossible to have the GAPPS of functional (Google install via Meizu AppStore).
Finally, I'm back to Mokee 9 waiting to install Gapps on Mokee 10...

Hi all,
I have also just installed HavocOS 3.2 on our Aries device and it works like a charm (Android 10).
Few days ago they also published on sourceforge the official 3.3 , but it crashes to me during first boot.
I had to tweak a bit the gapps-config file to be able to install gapps due to the limited space.
It's indeed awesome that we can still play with such old metal and bleeding edge software! ?
