Hi all,
So I tried to do the clever thing and read how to update my P10 Plus from vky-l09c432b120 to latest.
I tried and failed.
Now I cannot load from Recovery, but I can get the Team Win Recovery Project to appear and go through options. I have no OS apparently. Oops!
I've tried looking for answers, but it seems either people are unanswered, or the step by steps aren't apparent to me, so I apologise if I'm being slow to discover the solution!
Can someone help me?
I suggest to follow the instruction in the thread for rebranding. Just download the latest version of the firmware for your model and flash it

Hello everyone, my first post here.
I do realise that there is info around for reverting from 3.2 OTA.
However, none of the tutorials and related messages in each thread has helped me downgrade my 3.2 being a new member, i am also restricted from posting in the development thread
So can someone please help me, and please moderate this thread if it is in the wrong place etc etc. Im desperate T_T
So, following this tutorial to downgrade:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1276227
Using method 1:
I keep getting that no Iconia Tab is detected :S
I had run this as an admin, rebooted my pc, tried it on my sister's pc (both running win 7), installing official acer usb drivers to no avail.
Using method 2:
The update starts and the loading bar appears. The downgrade appears to run, probably up to 10%???, then the android with a yellow exclamation comes up T_T
I have tried a factory reset, but neither method 1 nor 2 will work.
My Tab is still working so I am still very grateful. Can anyone with ideas on how to get this downgrade working please advise. All help will be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Moderator please delete this thread. I have managed to fix the issue:
Factory reset, then i dl'd the package from method 2 again, and ran again. now working flawlessly =]
Sorry to have been a nuisance

Try flashing Philz Touch recovery, its the most stable recovery imo. Available for both the I9500 and I9505.Flash the .tar file with Odin in PDA.
I keep getting the message e signature verification failed. i have used auto root. i have enabled usb debugging. i have done everything in the steps of the rooting process and flashing process.
Slight progress
So I downloaded CWM recovery again and toggled off signature verification and I successfully managed to install my ROM. New porblem now, when I reboot the device it goes straight back to recovery mode every single time? Help please?
Hi - so I dont know if you guys think Im being stupid and/or lazy and havent found the right thread or if I am just asking a stupid question. If I am would someone kindly point me in the right direction and forgive my ignorance. If I am not being stupid can someone PLEASE help me with an answer. I have posted on several forums with this question and no one seems prepared to offer a solution. This is by no means a rant at forum members - I just hate being defeated by technology - and I have waited a week now for someone to offer me some much needed guidance.
Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I've been following this forum for a long time. You all have solved the most of my inquiries but I can't find the solution to this.
I want to root my Lenovo A3500-FL and I can't find a method. The android ver. is 4.4.2, kernel 3.4.67 and compilation A3500FL_A442_01_27_141127_SE
I work with a computer with Windows 8.1 but already have activated the un-signed drivers.
I've also tested the Framarrot and doesn't work. Any idea?
Thank you all.
Done, I followed the sistem described here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/how-to-root-lenovo-a7-50-a3500-t2876045
Hi, I am trying to do the same as you, but I can't get it to work. I have 4.4.2 Kernal 3.4.67, build A3500H_A442_01_34_140920_DE
I also have a windows 8.1 PC. I've downloaded the recovery files, but I can't get the tablet to trigger the downloader into action when I connect it. I think it must be a problem with the drivers I'm using (auto install). Could you explain what drivers you used and how you installed them please?
All I want is to get user accounts active in the settings... if Lenovo hadn't taken it away then I wouldn't be battling with this now!
Much thanks for any help you can give...
Tom.
[SOLVED] Can't get into recovery mode. Stuck with "this build is for development..."
I was at my last step in rooting my htc one m9+. To install the SuperSU i had to go to the recovery mode. But this message came up
"this build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action"
I'm not that expert in phones. I just followed tutorials on xda and youtube. Now I'm stuck. Not knowing a way to root my phone. I searched, many have the same problem without the solution.
Please, Somebody HELP ME
Did you flash the exact custom recovery image for "M9+"?
No. In twrp site they provided Image for only HTC One m9. Not for m9+.
I'm now trying kingroot. Is it OK?
Here you go.

I can't explain how much happy i'm right now. Now i can get into recovery mode. Installing the exact recovery image is the solution.

Now which supersu should i use? Is it ok if i download the latest (2.78) or is there any specific version for m9plus?
Try it.
I use 2.76(stable) and it was workable.
I think 2.78(beta) will be ok,too.
I've successfully rooted my phone. Thank you very much for your support.
In M9 plus can't I have the marshmallows. How to upgrade to it?
M9 plus never get marshmallows, unless mtk release their source code,

Hey guys!
At first, this is my first post here so please be lenient if I posted this in the wrong section or whatever. I still need to get used to this forum.
Second, English is not my native language so it could become some gibberish from time to time. I also have to mention that my Android skills are somewhere between newbie and advanced, so please keep that in mind.
But let's get ahead to my problem:
Some days ago, I decided to install Linage OS 14 on my SM-N910F because I don't like the Stock Android 6.0.1 of it.
As you know, a custom ROM requires an unlocked bootloader an that's where my struggle starts.
I simply can't find any tutorial or similar for my phone. The only one I found didn't work (It was with adb fastboot, the process got stuck at "<wating for device>" after the command "fastboot unlock oem" which was described in the tutorial).
I retried it about three or four times before I gave up. It feels like I searched the entire internet, including this forum, but I couldn't find anything useful.
Maybe it's my fault because I didn't look properly, but yeah, know I'm here to ask directly:
Do you guys have any tricks, tipps, ideas or tutorials for me to try?
If it helps you, my phone is already rooted. (chainfire's CF Autoroot)
It'd make me really, really happy and already thank you for your (hopefully) incoming answers.

Pretty certain your bootloader isn't locked, you just need to install twrp with odin and then you are good to flash lineage

Thank you for your fast reply. I'll try it once again, moreover I'll let you know if it worked.
It's me again. Flashing the ROM worked, my phone now runs under Linage OS 14.1. But now I've got another problem: Gapps. Somehow I can't flash the Gapps package, TWRP always tells me that the file is corrupted. I downloaded both the Pico and the Nano package for ARM Android 7.1* devices. Both don't work. I also tried the Android 7.0.* version, but that didn't work ofcourse. (Error 20: Wrong Android version installed on the device.) Is it my fault because I downloaded the wrong packages or what's the issue?
It'd be awesome if you could help me again.
Vygravlil
EDIT:
Okay, now it works. TWRP was right, the file was corrupted. I figured out that my PC kinda messed up the download of the package. I downloaded it with another computer and now everything works fine.
