So we have been waiting for the camera api 2 to be released on the zuk z2 but there was no response till now finally @davidevinavil the AEX 5.0 dev has introduced the camera api 2.0 in the latest build of aex 5.0 All credit goes to him he is a really awesome dev and you guys should definitely check out the oreo build there are surprisingly stable for an alpha level build. I'm posting this because i really wanted to use the api2 and many people wanted it too so this is for those who dont follow the AEX 5.0 thread

Recently i am tested this work on our beloved htc 10 with RR os rom and android 7.1.2 ....and it seems works fine

OxygenOS camera works on PureNexus ROM. For those of you on PureNexus, wait until the vidoe issues get sorted out for video to work flawlessly.

Just Install as normal apps. Don't flash marshmallow's camera flashable zip !
HQ mode doesn't work. Snapdragon Camera lacks of feature and image quality for me

Our camera module doesn't support the latest video APIs by Google. That's why Google camera crashes. You can try the lmn variant of camera from here. I've tried it and it works well. You may have to install deltadroid gapps though.

Friends am hear to introduce best rom.
I have tried a number of ROM and i finally i find the best. It is nothing but the H2OS (OxygenOS). It has best inclass performance, stability and everything i wanted. It is based on Android 7.1.1
Hear am going to introduce the steps you have to follow on installing this rom.
1: flash the rom (dont flash gaps),flash the kernal and camera blobs.
2:boot for 1st time
3:reboot recovery and flash gaps (arm 64 -7.1)(i recommend nanno)
4: go to settings and enable google playservices.
5: install android webview.
6:install google service framework (version 7.1.1)
7:if neede remove the Chinese boltes (you can do it through twrp file manager after mounting system)
8: Thats it you are ready to go.
Enjoy the fluid experience of oneplus device

the camera in that video seems to be aosp based, maybe snapdragon camera. the ZUI camera app in ZUI 3.1 is completely different

Guys can you tell me other custom roms with buttery smoooooooooooooooooooooooth performance, with little to no bugs. Doesn't matter if its 6.0 7.0 8 or 9. Just looking for great performance without lag.

Try RevengeOS 2.2 Pie, BB and Performance is great
I don't face any lag after a month
Many apps on my phone installed (1gb left) and still smooth
GCam 5 as default and you can install gcam 6 separately (2 gcam)

You can make any device CERTIFIED BY GOOGLE and ALL BANK APPS (including BHIM, TEZ, etc) WILL WORK
Steps:-
Install Magisk (prefer latest stable or beta version)
Check SafetyNet Test. If it passes the CTS Profile check this method will work (else you have to remove root/Supersu and flash magisk only) NOTE: Only one of the check box should be red
Search for "MagiskHide Props" Module and flash it using Magisk
Install any Terminal Emulator from Play Store
Open Terminal providing root access
Type Command Props
Browse "Custom Fingerprints" and select Xiaomi/Land device fingerprint
Reboot
Your device should now pass Safetynet Test and will be certified by Google play Services
To run banking apps hide magisk using the magisk menu. Still this doesn't work, try magisk with custom signature

I saw some threads where some Magisk modules were attached.They promised stable 60fps video.I saw some people that found that useful and workingBut,in my case,it doesn't work.Can you tell me another way to add 60fps video?Maybe by modifying media_profiles.xml.
there is one module that works for me and its "A1 Camera Patch v4s module(9.0)" it works great on LineageOS 16 and AEX Rom and i tried it to Stock Rom too but you have to use GCam. stock camera don't have option of 60fps in 1080p in stock rom
