Best Zenfone 5 ROM as on Date ( week before X'MAS) 2015.

Hello All,
Could you all contribute towards this and let us (fence sitters ) which is the best ROM for Zenfone 5 as on the date you see this.
Factors :

Stablity :
All Sensors Working: ( if not which all do not work and why that is not an issue )
Battery Performance:
Ability to run demanding games (all cores working)
Is currently being maintained and updated.
Security
(anything else you deem as a great parameter to measure a ROM by).

Yeah. It is dead but it is does not matter for me.

If you consider stability, I think Asus Stock Lollipop .78 is still the best. (Root and custom system app whatever you like/don't like)
If you like features, customization, modificaitons; RR is the best.

I don't use Uber or any other GPS application, so location is not important for me.
Normally, I disable location service to save battery.
I don't know how to say what feature in RR I like, but it overall looks great for me.
It's taste and personal preference. Need to try yourself. Someone prefer stock than RR, too. Anyway, I'm using stock due to stability and graphic lag in the latest RR version.

Whaddup? I'm using shell rom whre i get an average of 3 hours SOT unlike in the rr rom which gave me only 2-2.5 hrs sot from heavy usage. It is also based on stock rom so it's smooth and gps and fm radio are working fine.

Hmmm.... So if u wanna restore ur original Twrp then just flash it using Fastboot flash command! That's it!

I don't know man... But if u want then u can try... But it can be risky.. It can get stuck on bootloop.. U can try.

Bro i finally installed this rom... Now i'm going to tell you pros and cons of this rom. Before starting I would like to tell you that I am Italian so my English is not the best.
Pros:
• Phone like pixel
• No need to install GApps
• Very simple installation
• You can root with Magisk 17.1
Cons:
• Fingerprint, infrared and cam doesn't working
• Adaptive brightness is a bit bugged
• Phone is VERY VERY HOT and this impact also on the battery
@AP hacker can you help me to fix temperature problem? Else i must reinstall MIUI :crying:

I immediately flashed other stable ROM after seeing all the features. Developers are working and they will release stable version soon just wait.. @ND watch

bro I actually use viperos 7.1.2 its stable and! There are multiple developers of that ROM... So it would be difficult for me to mention them all!

New look
The ROM was smooth but had some issues like Vote was not working and calls not working..... I installed it yesterday but I can't use is daily driver..

My TWRP 3.3.1-0 work fine with this, but sadly magisk doesn't work...
for now i don't have any bugs, only lock screen....it's hard to unlock, you have to swipe trough whole screen to unlock...is it even bug or normal thing on pixel phones?
edit, i tried calls and it works fine, for now i will use this rom daily and i'll keep watching for bugs

No its not normal thing but when pixel experience pie version is released for mido last year it had the same problem.

Try flashing the latest magisk 19.4 which apparently supports Android 10.

BUG: version PixelExperience_mido-10.0-20190920 (and all Android 10 beta builds before this):
If connect to LAN or WebCloud services (Google Drive, etc.) with X-plore file browser and run apk file from this cloud (copying to temp for running) then no installing app (apk) but runing as instalator in randomly apps in SmartPhone.

I have installed that version and it doesn't work either, the phone does not start
At the moment it is not possible to root

Magisk - I think it only supports a/b partitioning for Android 10, not A only on 19.4 build at the moment, so since we are an A only style device, Magisk Android 10 support isn't working yet

BUG: version PixelExperience_mido-10.0-20190920 (and all Android 10 beta builds before this):
If booting OS (after show bootlogo Pixel) quietly clicks (hardware sound) camera (as click if opening Camera app).
Maybe initialization?
In older versions (Pie) booting no camera clicks.

Good Custom rom for Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5100

I'm sure this has been asked multiple times but I still am unable to get a good rom for this tablet that allows it to run somewhat decent. I mostly want to use it with Discord VC, Youtube and some other video streaming services. Maybe some web browsing as well. This tablet has just been sitting around for quiet a while so I plan to wipe it and since Samsungs official Rom is based on Android 4.2 (not sure how many apps still support that old a version) I would like to custom rom it. Any ideas?

You'd have to go with the Android 6 based custom roms if if you plan to use it long term. Android 7 based custom roms exist but they're laggy as heck.
I'd recommend SlimRoms 6 or OmniROMS 6 in terms of stability.

Been using Omni Rom 6, treated my device well. It also has Tablet layout for navigation buttons, which makes navigating easier in a wide tablet. Battery lasts very long if you don't use the device for some months.
But still, I also want to try out other Roms this time for Nougat, any recommendations?

Nougat is buggy and slow i would go for marshmallow only until someone starts working on fixing nougat or getting oreo go on the device
till then i will try mainlining the tab 2

In your opinion, is it worth it to downgrade to Kitkat or Lollipop? I remember those have some ram leakage or security issues?
I'm also gonna install Xposed. I'm outdated with the latest news right now, should I use the old Xposed from Magisk or the EdXposed?

About LP/KK many apps wont support it and i think they no more get security updates if i remember correctly.
Also i no more use xposed (as i dont use the tab as much as i used to) but for marshmallow normal xposed should work fine. I normally use Magisk for root and its modules

About Andi's kernel its pretty good but i use sungsonic(as i use tab mostly to watch vids) and about battery life i cant help mine is the same from 2012 and has degraded quite a lot

the best one for me is OmniRoms 6.0. It is really stable for my Samsung P5100. It does not even stutter nor lag even GAPPS is installed. Here is the list I tried and it LAG so hard:
- Lineage OS 14 (Android 7.1.2 Nougat can't play YouTube Videos)
- Slim ROMs 7.1.2 (Nougat, no audio)
- Omni ROM 7.1.2 (Nougat, no camera)
- Slim ROMs 6.0 (Marshmallow, other buttons won't work)
The best one is OmniRoms 6.0 - Marshmallow. NO LAG AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING.
