If you are able to do anything usefull with the source you'll figure out the difference by looking at the commits.
I don't know it from the top of my head as the last code release from google was two years ago.

I guess we will find out soon. They said check back tomorrow for more info. Updates are still being added for cyanogenmod it seems as of now https://www.cmxlog.com/14.1/bacon/

Anybody know if we will be able to simply upgrade CM14.1 nightly to lineageOS (nightly or weekly or whatever) or will we have to clean install?

Yours would need a clean install, because you are coming to nougat from marshmallow

A cm developer said they are going to make it where you can upgrade from cm 14 nightlies to lineage without a clean install:good: Also not to expect a build in 2016.

you'll get reply faster. Regarding VoLTE, yes it work, but not all operator.

Just wanted to share with you my personal builds. Currently there's only LOS 13, but probably an AOSP 6.0.1 and an updated build of sultanxda's CM 13 will follow.

My plan was to update the outdated roms, sorry. Anyway, if nightly builds of LOS 14 will end, I'll move to Nougat.

Good LOS 13 should have very good battery backup.

will you update the patches every month? I'm looking for something stable with security updates.

Sultanxda's LineageOS 13.0! The build is pretty big (399 MB) since I edited a bit it's patcher and I removed some things he added to remove some packages.

No changelog, it's a different build. The normal is based on offivial lineageos sources (ashwin), meanwhile the sultan's one is based on sultanxda's sources.

Hi, first a huge thanks for sharing the ROM.
I would like to know certain things before flashing the ROM. First its is coming with the same kernel and tweaks that of Sultans and is it under clocked by default , if yes can I disable it by flashing the same zip from Sultan's ROM page.

Yes, pretty safe, but at least backup your photos before upgrade, I don't want to be the one who make you loose your data

Of course, 100% sultan based, if the zip worked before, it will work with this too

Best Kernel suggestion (Purely for batterylife)

I want a suggestion for 4.4 Kernel for Lineage OS 16.0
Battery life is the only main concern
