Samsun J3 Mission J327VPP Stock Rom Odin - Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Questions & Answers

For the love of God can anybody please link me where I can find the stock odin files for a Samsung Galaxy J3 Mission for Verizon model J327VPP?

I need these too, I flashed what I THOUGHT was the stock firmware, but it was just some factory test firmware for the J3 Eclipse. Now I'm stick with it because I can't find any other roms that will install

hey did you ever find this? i somehow flashed factory binary and now my phone is ****ing useless. its a galaxy j3 mission (sm-j327vpp). desperately ISO of any, i repeat, any rom that will flash to this phone

could you post some links. I wasn't able to find anything searching that.. I'm hoping there's an option. Hard find for a galaxy j3 mission.

I have this phone laying around. It does not have a charge port so no way to hook it up to PC. Also I don't have a SD card but if you can tell me how to get things off of it I'd be more than glad to help.

No you can't.
The model number in your settings is purely text. Your phone is still a N910C and can only run N910C(and possibly other exynos variants) ROMs/firmware.
Don't flash or you'll have a brick on your hands. Stick to the roms you find in the exynos subforum that are meant for the device you own.

Brick means that your phone becomes like a real brick - useless for anything else other than to build something and put concrete on it ... Please, do some more reading about things like that AND DONT flash anything that you cant find in the exynos subforum
Noted mate... thanks for ur time....

Forgot to root... galaxy s5

Hello,
So as you just read, i tried to install the original firmware on a galaxy s5 with cyanogenmod.
I downloaded the original firmware (G900F VFG) via sammobile, but i forgot to root the phone again... I get an write error (ext4).
What do i do now!?
I cant find much on the internet, because search terms like root and galaxy s5 are too much.
Kind regards,
Jeroen
You can't install a firmware with a custom recovery....The only thing that will install a firmware is Odin.
What OS is on your device right now?

You can find all the info you need in this post.
Don't know what your firmware is but the oldest base you can go is NB1 (4.4.2).
Root the phone with towel root.
Install either flash fire or safestrap and flash the desire lollipop rom.
Hello! I don't want to start a new thread just yet, but I'm also stuck in a bootloop after a mishap during a manual update. Is it possible to recover any of the internal files when recovering the phone, or is it impossible? Honestly, I just want the files off of my phone more than anything else. There are a lot of memories there that I would love to save...I know, I know, I should have backed up those files, but that chance is gone now. :crying:

Copy Firmware using samsung smartswitch or kies?

Hello people. I am trying to get my firmware copied of my Galaxy Core Prime to create a pre-rooted firmware to flash via Odin.
The reason I underlined create is because I've tried looking for my firmware in a good few places (sammobile, samsung-updates,and the xda forums themselves) and I can't find mine, this is my first time trying to root a 5.1.1 device might I add.
So, I was wondering if i could utilise Samsung smart switch or Kies to copy my firmware from the backup function.
My phone isn't rooted and the firmware is G361FXXU1APB1.
Should I post this in the Galaxy Core Prime section? Because this isn't all related to my phone.
Any response would be appreciated.

Bricked Galaxy S7

Can someone please help me out. I am a total noob at stuff like this. I have an AT&T Galaxy S7 Edge and succesfully rooted it the other day. Upon installing another app my phone was bricked (screen that reads unauthorized software has been put on AT&T device).
From reading and searching I am assuming that I have to flash back to the stock ROM. Can anyone please guide me through this endeavor, or lead me to a post where it has already been done? Thank you in advance.

You need to find the correct firmware for your device. I'm not sure where the thread is for it but once you get it use Odin to load the firmware and flash through Odin
You can use the Odin pj4 files to restore. Just Google how to use Odin. The pc side is self explanatory just put the phone into downloaded mode.
I have tried several versions of Odin and stock firmware for the s7 edge. Everything is failing across the board. I think I am just making it worse lol
Why don't you tell us what version of the phone you have exactly? Then maybe you can get more useful advice.
