I have the 990ds that I have flashed werewolf's unofficial kernel. Was checking for any issues using Catlog, came across this when using the AptX filter.
Was wondering if the aptx codec was having errors or am I reading this incorrectly?
Any help would be appreciated.

First off, My apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere as I have used the search engine. My concern is that i absolutely fell in love with the ac!d audio engine on other phone models. I have tried to install this mod on my Verizon G2 and it results in my phone having no sound whatsoever. I read the thread and added all the build.prop entries that were missing and still nothing. Am i Missing something completely? All files show as installed however there is no effect in sound quality nor do the settings or EQ make any difference. I have uninstalled stock Music FX. My phone is The Verizon Variant of the LG G2. LG-VS980
Build Number:carbon_vs980-Userdebug 4.3.1 JLS36I a1d8ee2416 test_keys
Carbon Version: Carbon JB Unofficial 20131024-1220
Kernel:3.4.0-vs980-Custom-01-CM [email protected] #1
CPU:ARMv7 Processor rev0 (v71)
P.S Same problems happened while using stock rooted ROM
Any help or Installation instructions that i may have missed would greatly be appreciated. Thank you all and great work devs. It Is MUCH appreciated.
Never tried this mod but you should give Viper a try. Solid output gain and you can tweak quite a few settings.

Hi!
I'm having the white lines issue trying to use my ls980 on a AOSP-based ROM, and from what I've read in forums, the Cloudyfa Bootstack (LS980-bs-cloudy.zip) file will fix that for me. Unfortunately, it seems to have been removed from the file host linked in the forums. Is there any chance that anyone has a copy of it they could mirror for me? Thanks!
I am currently using ParanoidAndroid 4.2-BETA3, and I would like to update it, but any newer version has this issue.
All other custom roms I've tried don't seem to have functional GPS.
Anyone?
I don't have the post count yet to directly message the author or even post in the relevant thread.
The developer has posted an updated kernel, issue fixed.
However, now, all music players seem to not play music.
I tried with 3 different music players.
Google it up.
If your phone came with aptX stock OS then you can still use aptX after flashing LineageOS (after some file copying). :good:
This was not the case with CyanogenMOD.

Do you happen to know where file libbt-aptX-ARM-x.x.x.so file (likely libbt-aptX-ARM-4.2.2.so) and any other such files can be obtained from assuming LineageOS 15.1 needs/uses them at all? (this thread tells us it should be there for AptX support) That file is not included into LineageOS 15.1 and doesn't come with the APTX-Enabler.zip patch from this thread either. This is for Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 (SM-A320FL). I already tried asking around here and here besides that thread and strangely no replies so far. I understand LineageOS does support AptX for a couple of years by now (on devices with AptX support in their stock ROMs). Many thanks in anticipation...

Just use the Magisk aptX module
So my wife recently gifted me an APTX enabled headset and i've been trying to get APTX to work on my MiA1 that's recently been updated to Pie.
Problem is, i can set the codec to APTX via developer options but as soon as i exit the setting menu, the codec then reverts back to SBC.
Headset is the Sennheiser 4.5 BTNC.
I've been using google to look for solutions but seeing that i've recently updated to Pie, the only solution i found was for Oreo.
Anybody experience the same? Thanks!
Try the "APTX for Android Oreo & Pie" module on the Magisk repo.
@laymonage @enteng_kabizote does that worked?

my friend, if the cellphone is rooted and installed magisk, it would be better for you to install VIPER4Android FX and be able to do the settings from situ.module Viper you can download directly from the magisk repo.
