Hi!
I have some problems with samsung a5100.
I flash in phone this flash A5100ZHS1APJ2_A5100ZZH1APJ2_TGY with hong kong pit file.
I pierced it to ensure that there would be additional languages. But there are 2 problems and I don't know how to solve them: 1. Missing in the set up menu sms center 2. When you try dialing in the international format (+375-44-1234567) the phone number is replaced by the 810 and the call is not performed. The question is how to solve the problem.

i have all my contacts stored in the international format (+44). In order for Smart dialer to work correctly i need to dial +44 before it lists my contacts i used to be able to enter the number straight with the internation code for smart dialer to start working before i upgraded to Mr Clean Rom.
Any ideas?
Hi,
seems like I've just noticed this issue, even if my last flashing (no, I didn't use that Odin option to clear efs) has been done 7 months ago.
The (italian) guide I have read when I bought the Spica back in June didn't mention ANYTHING regarding backing up the efs folder.
My IMEI is 00000000000000, but I can succesfully make and receive calls, sms, and use HSDPA data (Postemobile, a virtual operator working on Vodafone network).
My efs folder contains only a nv_data file.
My doubts are:
-If my IMEI is blank, why I haven't any problem at all?
-If I flash with ODIN a stock 2.1 firmware, can I recover the issue?
-I asked a friend a good nv_data file from an eastern Europe Spica, in an extreme case may I overwrite my nv_data file?
-Any hints regarding the policy of the US carriers if the IMEI is blank? It would be a problem if I couldn't connect to the mobile network. Last time ATT and T-Mobile worked well, but that was before the last ROM flashing, so I don't know...
thanks
Your nv_data file did get corrupted or deleted. This could happen if you ticked the option "Debug Only" -> "Phone EFS Clear" option in Odin.
When the file is broken or missing a new file is created at startup which does not contain IMEI data. Look if you have a nv_data.bak file in your efs folder. You can rename it and look if it fixes the fault. If there is no such file then you have a problem. This can't be fixed easily.
You can go to a professional unlock shop nearby and get a emei repair.
Ore you can contact this guy and get a fix for 20$:

PS: The missing imei will not cause problems with the phone. The complete phone will work without a problem.
I had an issue with the last OTA and had to install a factory image. I did this when I was abroad....
Ever since, any contact that isn't in the format +CountryCodeTelephoneNumber is not found with CallerID
i.e. I have loads of numbers that are in UK format e.g. 07792827263 and these don't show as a contact
Any ideas how to fix this?
I have a Note 4 Dual Sim (SM N9106w-China mobile) , rooted.
My phone have some issues that need your help:
1.
My sms app always show 2 diffirents threats for the same contact which is +84123456789 and 0123456789
So are the contacts. If the contacts are with the contry code (+84 in my case), it will show the nam, otherwise will not show.
2. Calendar always crash and show warning that it crashs from no where, anytime.
3. CH Play randomly works, other time show "can not connect "
Can anybody please help me to fix or any rom to flash availble yet?
Thank you so much
1. N9106W have problem with framework and setting in other.xml file so it can not merge sms of same contact.
2. Calendar and Play Store: reflash stock Rom or Gapps package.
3. SVA rom availabe to fix all your problems. Unfortunatly you have to pay for it.
Hi, I've been trying to solve a problem for over 2 weeks and would really appreciate some help if possible.
To make a long story short I purchased an unlocked verizon S7 and want to use it on my network (Public Mobile, owned by Telus in Canada). Right now it connects to the network and can make phone calls and SMS, but isn't working with data and MMS (FYI I have tried every conceivable recommended APN setting).
I successfully rooted it using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tm...edge-g935t-t3567502/post71287574#post71287574
However, because verizon removed dialpad code access I am unable to use the appropriate dialpad code to change the CSC. I was also unable to find the function using various root explorer and hidden menu applications. Doing a factory reset with the SIM card inserted didn't help either.
FYI these threads lead me to believe that changing the CSC may solve my problem:

Anyone have an idea of how the csc could be changed?
I am also interested in converting my G930V to have the same bands as the G930T..will changing csc fix this?
