Just got received my PH-1 today and I noticed that the notification LED is blocked by something?
It's a bit exaggerated in the pic since it's so large, but I can't move it or blow it out with compressed air. It's definitely behind the grill too.
Is this something normal for all updated PH-1's with a metal grill?
I had a little crud in the top slot. I used an anchol wipe to gently wipe it out of the slot. Worked a treat.

Yeah, I'm afraid I can't get to it with any method since it's behind the ear piece.
My OCD is kicking into high gear and I think I may RMA for this stupid issue...

I've taken over replacing a screen on a DX from someone who said, "a part fell out" and he doesn't know from where.
I've assembled the phone, and the buttons light up but the screen doesn't.
Anyone know where this piece (front and back pix) should go and if it's the missing link?

Look in the top left or right, it appears to be a sensor of some sort (proximity or ambient light sensor maybe?)
Its definitely a sensor.
Here check this out.http://www.powerbookmedic.com/manual.php?id=152
Youll have to find pics or video of a fully assembled board. Thats your best bet.
Search for electrical schematic?
Hope the video helps. Theres a bunch of em in that link.

OK, not a sensor! It's the camera button, I'm pretty sure. It just happened to me too! I can't get it back on though

Got it! I circled where it goes!
Hello everyone;
This is not a big issue, but bugging nevertheless... When I first got my phone, it would make a small vibration when I plug it into charger...
But few days ago, this behaviour stopped... And for the life of me, I can't see where can this be configured!
No firmware updates this week, only some gear updates... Not sure they can affect such thing :-/
Not sure if it was always like that.. But it just made the vibrate while screen was off -_-
Known issue. This indicates that the left side DDR RAM holder pin is no longer magnetic.

My buddy just gave me an s5 and the led under the back arrow button doesn't light up
does anyone know which part to order that has the leds on it
I tried looking at pics but was hard to tell, I believe it is the charger port daughterboard but want to be 100% before ordering and opening the phone
thanks
R u using any custom rom ?since in certain custom rom
dev may block led to glow.check that before u buy new one. If u feel u don't want to waste the money just add on screen navigation buttons

No the phone is stock 5.0 and was factory reset
the chrome bezel is a little banged up in that corner which may lead to the led going out but I'm going to replace the midframe and want to fix the led as well
BTW the left led works just not the right one so I believe it's a hardware issue
It's a hardware issue u need to replace..
