I recently started getting a pop up that says "google app has stopped " and it gives me an option to close app or send feedback. Sometimes it pops up every couple minutes does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Same issue here, been going on for a while, it's worse with latest update. Rolled it back, & it happens less frequently.

I've been using Handcent for the last few months, and every couple days, when I go to open it, some Force Close error comes up. If I try opening the stock Messaging app, the same thing happens. When I restart my phone, everything's usually fine, but the texts I received while my phone was bugging get deleted.
I text more than the average person, but usually delete all my threads every couple of days when it starts to lag.
Anyone know what's going on?
I am on 4.2.1 and have been having an issue with multiple reboots and freezing per day. Occasionally I get the message "unfortunately fused location has stopped working. I has happened multiple times per day every day. Seems to happen often when leaving wifi and going to cell data. Extremely annoying.
Anyone know a fix for this annoying issue?
I have been having this problem for about a week or so now on my galaxy nexus. I figured it was related to all my other problems with the phone such as charger indicating phone is charging when not plugged in, camera screen loads black and videos such as YouTube don't play. Like yours my phone frequently crashes. It doesn't appear to be app related as it has crashed in games, when unlocking the phone or even when setting the alarm.
I hope there is a quick fix for this.

Hey everyone
I got a nexus 5 and using a Galaxy gear live.
I think there was an update the other day to google services and I think since then the watch has been having issues.
I get notifications and everything fine
But when I try to say text my friend Justin
I go OK google. Text Justin mobile. Say my text. It transcript it fine but then says I didn't catch that. And does that every time. I will say hey what's up. It will show that fine in the screen but then all of a sudden it will say didn't catch that
Anyone else having that issue at all?
At least it's not just me then! Same thing started a couple of days ago for me too. Using the LG G Watch R, it now won't "show me my steps", "set a timer for 50 minutes" or acknowledge what I want to say in a message even though it's got it up on the screen. Must be a software bug as I've reset the watch and reinstalled Android Wear on my phone. Still gets my notifications through so it's just a matter of waiting for a patch I suppose.
Weirdly enough, I can't reply to texts (I use Hangouts) but I can dictate replies to Whatsapp messages so it must be a google thing.
I suspect it's a server-side issue as it suddenly happened to a lot of us (though seemingly not all) around the same time. It's similar to how voice dictation of location-based reminders stopped working for some people for a few days a couple of months ago. I do find it alarming, though, that the primary and intended method of interacting with the watch can simply go offline for days on end without a word for Google.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me. Really frustrating
Yesterday's Android Wear app update has solved the "show me my steps" issue but texting is still out of action.
I keep getting this error message "Unfortunately Messages has stopped" and it brings me back to my home screen. Also it lags and the keyboard keeps on typing. has anyone had this issue, and if so is there a fix?

I have been having the same issue! It has only been happening since yesterday. I have the T-Mobile variant but have not had an update in a couple of weeks. Don't know what the issue is.
I do not want to go into my App manager and clear data because I would like to keep the messages I have but I am afraid the issue and the lag could be caused from all of the messages I have stored on the device (around 20,000).
However, if I open and use the hangouts app it does not have the lag issue nor does the app crash.

Yes same issue with T-Mobile variant I switched to Google Messager for now until there is a fix. My other option is doing a factory reset, but that is a last resort thing. I did wipe cache partition today and it seems to help but not much. But have you been having issues with calls? Like I can't hear my girlfriend when we talk i'm using N6P and her the GS7 Edge and her phone breaks up alot i'm not sure if its from the carrier because they said " the service in the area has been congested "

I haven't had any issiesnwoth calls. Just seems lately the phone is bogged down. There is still ram available. But it keeps getting slower and slower. If I do a reboot it helps temporarily. Or clearing all apps and ram. But I don't want to keep doing that every 30 minutes. Also, it keeps getting fairly warm almost hot. Is anyone else experiencing their gs7 edge getting hot and slowing down?

I got the phone 4 days ago, so far loving it. This is exactly the upgrade I was searching for when leaving the Nexus 5 behind.
I did find 2 software issues (I assume) which bother me once in a while;
1. While browsing the phone, I sometimes get "Google has stopped working" which I then have to close (affect nothing really) , just wondering if anyone knows why it happens.
2. When using Google Photos to view a folder with 2000+ pictures (Whatsapp images), the software crashes after few scroll downs , this one repeats every time so I assume it is a software related issue. Maybe someone can try this one on his A1.
