unknown baseband after B191

Hello,
I´ve had b170 on my GRA-L09, but after updating to b191, it ended in bootloop, so I flshed back system.img from b170 with fastboot followed by boot.img from b170, now my P8 boots, but baseband and IMEI is unknown in settings, only with *#06# it shows IMEI.
what can I do, to get baseband and IMEI in settings back, to use my Simcard?
should I reflash recovery? because somehow I can´t get to recovery, to wipe cache.
even flashing an update out of update-app ends in bootloop, maybe because of defect recovery
good news, after flashing recovery via fastboot, I was able to do a full flash and get baseband and IMEI back

Asus Zenfone 5 csc mode instead of droidboot.

I tried in every possible way to root, unlock the boot loader, with pc and without it, but every time i try to do something on my zenfone 5 it enter in csc mode instead of droidboot and I can't understand why, can someone help me?
My asus zenfone 5:
Lollipop 5.0
ASUS_T00P
M3.5.23-A500KL_10137
Build number: LRX21M.WW_Phone-12-4-5-58-20151013044030443_201501281349

Unlocker for bootloader, this is made for kitkat but I tried it for lollipop and it worked, just check your screen when your phone restarts, you should see somelines there saying
Tampered = No
Authorized = No
Unlocked = Yes
for rooting, try downloading Kingroot on your phone.

I have the same issue. In fact my phone is showing ERROR: invalid boot image and I can not access droidboot /bootloader or even recovery. I am newbee. please help.

Droidboot: ZenFone 5 (A500CG / A501CG)
CSC: ZenFone 5 LTE (A500KL)
ERROR: invalid boot image csc mode ONLY
DIXIES or any expert who can HELP!!!
i have asus a500KL zenfone 5 tried software update after reboot got ERROR: invalid boot image
i am fairly experienced with root access, custom roms and have been trying to fix this issue for a few days.
I am able to get to csc mode, also powering off and entering BLUE SCREEN csc mode.
I have tried ALL the flash asus tools and everything. tried a few intels but they dont even begin to work as mine is an ARM.
fastboot recognises csc mode!!!
I can flash a boot.img but that is it, does not change the situation.
Everything else gets an error, something like ERROR: Security prevents this action or something about it being locked. I think it might mean the bootloader is locked and cant access anything pretty much.
I have tried every key combination under the sun. (Timing, P + (+), P + (-), P + (+ & -), in all combos and timing combos.
Power + Vol Down gets me to the SD Update option.
CLick the top to continue and the bottom to reboot.
I have tried both and they both take me to the ERROR: invalid boot image
im stumped.
Ive Messed with HTC, Samsungs, Sony, Huawei for gods sake, even iphones and have never come across an issue like this that is so impossible to fix. I think i may have hit my first brick.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards

Did you flash boot.img in csc mode successfully (no error message on PC)?
If yes, and it is still stuck at invalid kernel screen, your A500KL may be broken.

Thats right. The boot.img was the only file I was able to flash in csc mode without error or failure, still unsuccessful in booting. All the issues are still the same. Is there any way of fixing this? If my bootloader was unlocked I think I would be able to restore it however am unable to unlock through csc mode I think!!! Every time I try and unlock bootloader it tries to boot the phone into recovery which it doesnt have and cant flash one with an unlocked bootloader I believe. Please help! Is this a brick/paper weight??

There isn't unofficial bootloader unlock method for A500KL currently.
You have to unlock it with Unlock Device App from ASUS under system.
I can't help because I don't have A500KL, sorry.

Huwei P8 L09 stuck in bootloop many tips tried, none worked

Hello,
I own a Huawei P8 L09, bootloader unlocked, rooted and with TWRP recovery.
I tried this morning to flash a new rom using TWRP recovery.
Problem is that I do believe I wiped to many partitions and I ended up with a bootloop.
I could at first access 3 times the emui erecovery (btw, Wifi recovery failed) but not anymore (is it related to the battery level ? I don't know how much I still have)
Following a lot of threads here and on some other forums (I've been searching now for approx. 7 hours...) :
I downloaded a update stock ROM (B170 something), I extracted Boot, System, Recovery and Cust
I entered bootloader mode (it's the only mode I can go to; recovery No, Download mode neither)
and on my computer I typed in the cmd "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" same with system, cust and boot.
All of them said "Okay" but the bootloop is still there and I can't acess any other mode or shut the device off.
Also, my bootloader indicate that i'm "unlocked" but when I try to do something as :
"fastboot erase cache" it says "remote: not allowed" or something like that.
I tried the SD card flash method but I can't even acess the 3-button mode (doesn't work - bootloop again).
Finally, I've got 2 questions :
1) Is there a solution ? Is there/was there anybody in the same situation ?
2) Does the battery level influence wether I may or not enter any mode ? like b.e. under 30% I can't access recovery or something like that ?
Thanks in advance for your help and sorry for my bad english.
Greetings from Belgium !
Jules
Hi!
I have the same situation as you do, All i know is that you can access the eRecovery only if you're plugged in.
But it's completely useless. Have you found any solutions yet?
Edit:
i struggled and i'm still struggling but i figured out that I need the recovery and boot img of the version i was on previously. In my case that is B350.
The main mirror is down but i managed to find another one: https://mega.nz/#!NAcgQY7Y!I4eRfkaq62J31csv_wZ8_nTzmUbWPX71JUicDysjus8
after flashing them i was able to partially flash (using vol+-&pwr) B170 (it only went up to 90% with my USB attached, fails without USB)
At my surprise it booted B170 even if it didn't complete, however right now it keeps rebooting every minute. I'll update if i manage to fix this
I have the same problem as you both. To flash boot.img and other files by fastboot we need to unlock bootloader. To unlock bootloader we need to have Imei, Product Id and SN, but I can't read it because phone won't turn on.
Anyone know how to get this info?
you can read these info from the packaging box!
I managed to fix my issues (i believe) by continuously flashing and flashing versions. I never really managed to fully OTA update to 100% due to some "CUST error" but from B350 i managed to "update" to B170, then to B200, then to B321a.
Now i just installed TWRP and rooted it and on the process of installing xposed (if possible).
I wasted a good 6-7 hours on everything already
Well now I actually sent my phone in repair, given that it still was under warranty.
If they return it unrepeared, i will try it your way, Nikooo777. Thanks.

hep. lg v20 us996 in fastboot mode after flash

Greetings. I have a lg v20 us996 and the problem is this. After flashing it with lgup UPPERCUT_1.0.0.0, now the phone reboots into fastboot mode. I have given factory reset and I have flashed another filmware of the same model and still the same. I turn it off by removing the battery and when I connect it to the computer or the home charger, it lights up in fastboot mode. any solution. Thank you
When that happened to me I had to send it in for factory warranty repair. Their diagnosis was faulty ram. Phone came back unrooted and I really don't know if I should try to reinstall TWRP and root. I get the message that the phone cannot be checked... when I boot up, which leads me to believe the bootloader is still unlocked. I miss TWRP and root REAL BAD so will probably give it a try but am not brimming with confidence.

Greetings. In my case it was not root and no installation of twrp. It was after flashing of the filmware that I left in fastboot mode. Now does not boot and gets stuck in fastboot mode
This happened to me when trying to update my old LG K10 through LG Bridge and it failed. After it installed the update properly, it booted normally. I think it's a flag that LGUP or UPPERCUT fails to reset, so the phone thinks it's still waiting to install the update through LG Bridge's Update Error Recovery.
might be of use here
i had a h910 flashed over to us996 that was stuck in fastboot. i had tried everything from flashing all the us996 firmwares to frp reset and came up with nothing. i then flashed H91510c_00_VTR_CA_OP_1007.kdz it not only successfully flashed but got me out of fastboot mode. i am now reflashing the us996 10f and will re root and twrp .. hope this helps someone out.

You just saved my xmas!
I think the reason it works is because the partition layout is redone because the partition layout is different. So it has to be re-written which is what needed to be done to fix the issue. The Korean F800 version has a different partition layout as well so that prolly would work too, which I actually had before I downloaded the H915.
This also fixed the issue I was having in the first place that made me chip erase which didn't work. But now I know what's going on, writing a fresh partition table can solve many issues which doesn't happen when crossflashing variants that have the same partition layout.

Need help on lgv20 h990ds to unbrick

I tried to root with dirty Santa steps
But unfortunately
At step16 my cell went to fastboot mode
After that i cant restart in normal mode and download mode
If i do multicolor display is coming
But system recognize the download mode
So I tried to boot stock rom with
Lg flash tool
But it says
Firmware mismatch
Like us996->h990ds
And stop installing in10 persistent
Even lgup detect my download mode
But model unknown error
So pls some help me in it
I checked the file.bat file santa
In 3 batch file it was
There was twp file mention in us996
Instead of
H990ds
So I think the problem starts there
Any way to re flash through
Fast boot
If any one can explain
Say it in step by step pls
Thanks in advance
Some one help guys
To get to a working rooted phone from where you are, enter fastboot mode (hold volume up while connecting to PC iirc), then flash the h990 version of my twrp, (fastboot flash recovery C:\path/to/TWRP/), pull the battery after running fastboot flash twice, then enter recovery by while holding volume down, press power until the screen turns on, then tap power repeatedly until it asks to factory reset, say yes twice, then flash a new kernel and magisk/supersu. Neocore is a popular h990 kernel.
To revert back to full stock, replace your LG up files in Program Files with the modded version from this thread, and use the partition DL mode it adds (select all partitions from your kdz file) to go around the model restrictions

Hey I I have same problem with u
I try with flashtool in h990.kdz(nouget my stockroom) and massage is download error.
My phone h990ds
But in Lgup readed by unknown model.
Please help me.
Thank you..
Hi I ran into the same issue, but I managed to force flash the firmware by choosing "Erase Chip" option (while choosing the kdz file) in the LGUP tool. Then somewhere in the middle you have to click the pink progress bar to confirm a warning. Hope it's not too late buddy! I registered the xda account just to post this haha. The only issue is that the two IMEIs show up as 0 in the system, but the sim card (data and phone call)works just fine.
