Oreo beta can root.
You can update oreo beta by use ff or HWOTA method.
Does someone know what version is the roolback 7.0 version in Firmware Finder for L29C432??? And is rollback possible just over FF app?
How do you update via FF when it won't authenticate?

Yes you can, but not with Magisk (At least I didn't manage to).
You will have to edit SuperSU's updater script though to look for ramdisk instead of BOOT.
I didn't try this, but you might be able to root using Magisk Manager and select the ramdisk partition in the dropdown list (Might've been sdd36)

It's v98968, the other one is for L09.
They're still not approved though (According to FF. It's not the same as the firmware B194 you have installed, this is rollback firmware.)
You can use AL00C00 to rebrand, and rollback that way. It took a bit longer but no need to wait for the rollback to be approved.
Either you need B194 approved or a recovery mod for Oreo to flash the rollback.
There's a MHA-B233 rollback which applies to:
MHA-AL00C00B233
MHA-AL00C00B233D
MHA-TL00C01B233
But I can't find B233

What's the difference between C432 and C432log for example?
Upart from HWOTA tool, is there any other way to install without rooting, TWRP, unlocking bootloader etc. Eg: dload SD card mode or similar?

Log suffix means that Huawei is gathering additional logs and telemetry. Imho.
Don't know why they did not mark all beta ROMs, but betas must send logs to Huawei.
About dload-roms - wait for release versions.

It won't help, they're not approved. I guess huawei pulls your imei when you join the beta and get it approved that way.
Only free way is to use HWOTA.

Unless I am mistake with HWOTA you need TWRP installed. I don't want to root, install any custom recoveries or unlock bootloader etc. Want to stay pure as possible with this rom. I thought installing it via ADB was enough. I may be wrong. So will just have to wait.

Umm, you know that the bootloader will be locked again, when you flash a new firmware? I am quite sure the recovery will be overwritten as well. It's not a permanent change to your phone. Do whatever suits you though.

Hi guys,
I would like to update my M3 BTV-DL09 from C100B010 to the firmware C100B302.
Now I have some questions:
- is the B302 still a beta build? If yes, does anyone know, when a final build is to be expected for Europe/Germany?
- I removed the updater app (thought I will not need it) and im rooted and Bootloader unlocked, so I cannot install the update.app container at the moment. Solution would be to flash stock Bootloader and then do it again via the secret code menu. Does anyone have the stock bootloader for B010 as flashable zip for TWRP?
I think you can extract files from update.app file, such as stock recovery...
I am on B302 and it seems to be official. At least that's what all pages with update tutorial say.
Only problem that I have is that bluetooth isn't working. I have no idea what to try.

I updated my device to B302 just yesterday using firmware finder and OTA.
I think that for LTE version the latest build is B303 and the update is an official stable build and files are uploaded on official Huawei server.
The C100B302 it a BETA, the newer C100B303 also is a BETA.
All Huawei firmware came from OFFICIAL Huawei servers...
The "updater" app is only required to check for OTA updates. ALL the updates are then installed by the RECOVERY module that is often overwritten by TWRP.
NEVER rewrite flash partitions if you're not knowing what you are doing! Search for a tutorial on Android partitions and read it!!!
No theme app!
I just upstaged my M3 wifi model w09, to the B302 version, its bootloader is locked and not rooted.
The only problem now I have is that I can not use or change themes, bcuz the system Theme app is not available, as if it hasn't been installed!
Any solution now that I'm not rooted?

Yes it was two big files that I forced updated one after another. And yes I have the "system update" in my tablet settings if that's what you mean.

Good question...i can't find the rollback firmware for US. That is what you need first.
You can find here Marshmallow Firmwares:

Probably BTV-W09C128B003 is what you need. First you need the rollback package from Nougat.

thank you!
from what I've read, the rollback sets up the system to accept emui 4.1 updates, which are blocked after moving to emui 5.0 a second flash is required with the actual firmware. this is the direct link for the recommended firmware after the rollback.

Guys, if the update file has not been approved for your device's IMEI it won't work. I've tried myself with FF, dload, rolling back to MM, and TWRP without success. You'll only get the "authentication failed" message no matter what method you try. In my experience these posted files might not be the final release versions. If you use the "Check Firmware Access" option within FF app you'll be able to see if the file you're attempting to download has been approved for installation.

There is already official Oreo update for our C432 in Firmware Finder - MHA-L09 8.0.0.361(C432). I managed to flash the update like this:
1. Download Firmware Finder from Google play.
2. Search for MHA-L09 (or MHA-L29). Look for MHA-L09 8.0.0.361(C432) FullOTA (at this time there are 4 builds 107981, 107977, 109979 and 107978). I succeeded with 107978.
3. Press download and select update.zip, update_data_full_public.zip and update_full_MHA-L09_hw_eu.zip ( or update_full_MHA-L29_hw_eu.zip)
4. Follow exactly the ""Flash update" procedure" from mankindtw thread.
As it is update all settings and data are intact, the bootloader stayed unlocked.
Once again - this is the procedure it worked for me and it might not work for you. I am not responsible for any damage you cause to your phone. Remember that flashing phone might get it bricked - read carefully and double check everything before acting. Press thanks if i helped.

I'm not sure it's official release though. Just because it's not LOG doesn't mean it's official release. But it does match AL00's version for release so maybe.

Right now my firmware shows as NRD90M test-keys. My about phone shows MHA-L29C567B190.
Do you think I could follow this procedure when the unlock routine shows the NRD90M status? Then unlock Oreo, and upgrade to PIE? (Or, maybe the Pie could update automatically?)
I'm waiting to hear confirmation from DC that I can unlock while it sees the firmware as nrd90M test-keys.
oreo stable rom is available in proteammt.ru site or u can download it via firmware finder app.
And the installation method is same as described in oreo beta.

There is not Oreo in that link. All small previous OTA's
instead use Huawei firmware finder app from playstore.
