VoLTE network compatibility list for ROMs - LeEco Le Max 2 Guides, News, & Discussion

Heyyo, this is a call out for all those users on VoLTE enabled networks if you could please post in this thread which custom ROMs are compatible to VoLTE to help others figure out what ROM and modem firmware they should try.
Please post with the following:
Phone model (x820, x821, x829)
Modem firmware (CN 26s, dev 466D, etc)
ROM name (Slimroms, LOS 14.1, BlackX, AEX, OmniROM, etc)
Tested build date (please submit as month-day-year for eg 10-15-2017)
Country (India, France, etc)
Network (Jio, Orange, etc)
I'll try to maintain a list in the second post to try and make things easier for others with issues so they can hopefully get an idea as to which might suit them best

How to fix radio on custom kernels on LOS:
Add new prop with BuildProp Editor:
Code:
prop: persist.radio.multisim.config value: dsds
I dont try it, but it must work.

Phone model: x829
Modem firmware: CN 26s
ROM: BlackX
Tested build date: latest October build
Country: Romania
Network: Orange

All version works fine with VoLTE from V.16s to V.28s on T-mobile USA network.
but I found if one of dual-SIM not compatible LTE, the VoLTE disabled for all

No ROMs (not even stock eui) work with VoLTE in Japan on Docomo network. On some ROMs setting the VoLTE/HD Calling toggle to on has no effect, on others it appears to connect to VoLTE (displays icon in status bar) but calls fail with a server error message.

S5 does not support band with 40
All qualcomm varients of Galaxy S5 supports all possible bands. Search for app called "Hidden settings" and switch band to EURO or auto and you would get band 40. I am still trying to figure out the VOLTE code. I will try the Darklord custom rom, but switching roms is a time consuming task. One day...

Can u give us those s6 CSC files ...that u replaced...so that I can give it atry on my G900I

Network carrier name incorrectly identified.

I am using an EE UK sim card but all custom roms report it as being a T-Mobile UK network operator. The phone works perfectly fine for calls and sms and data so this is a cosmetic issue.
This is an issue that i have found while using a number of different custom roms for my Samsung S5 G900F international version.
i have tried using both Marshmallow CM13 custom rom and now the new CM14 alpha rom and both have the same carrier name issue showing the same incorrect carrier name in the status bar and the other usual places in the rom. I know that it is not a bug in these roms that is causing this so no need to post a bug report.
When i used the carrier free version of the official rom (BTU) it correctly identifies my network operator as EE as well as also correctly identifying other network operators such as Vodafone etc.
T-Mobile UK and Orange were merged in 2009 into a new operator called EE. And in feb 2015 the T-Mobile UK and Orange branding were removed from use completely and replaced by EE.
I know this is a very minor cosmetic issue but is it one that can be corrected properly and not just masked by using things such as xposed framework mods ?
Thank you in advance to anyone who is able to shed light on this or even is able to fix this minor issue.

Is their something to do with band with
On my more search i found that s5 has some bandwidth modifications
Since JIO volte bandwidth may not be supported by s5
My questions is that. In which rom are all bandwidth open.
Jio network band 40(2300) ; 5 (850) ; 3 (1800)
Galaxy S5 SM-G900F - LTE 800/850/900/1800/1900/2100/2600 Europe(LTE Variants) for Europe
I guess my S5 does not have 40(2300). I not sure but i guess that is i cant connect to internet but i cant mak call.
May be for internet JIO use band 5 and 3 but for volte may be we need bandwidth 40. (Cant say it truly
I tried to change band setting from QXDM

After so much of reading.
Still no luck. I wonder how did oneplus team get band 40 and 41.
The problem is that after going nv setting via pc i did change code but still no luck.
In india Volte is on band 40 and band 41. As per knowledge 801 support both band.
Why cant i get to work.
If see the below attachment i have volte option but on my provider it work only band 40 and 41.
Then did add all Lte band as per post
If you i have two option for band all at last.

Okey , is there any way to enable volte ,in g900i....currently I cant
It bought g900i.
You can try phonix rom with csc that has volte option.
I guess it will work for you since your bootloader support band 40.

I found the link..but it says the ROM is for g900F is it safe to flash that ROM on G900I
Install TGY(HONG KONG) lollipop firmware on your 900F .you will get volte option in setting/more network/ mobile network/ volte toggle will be there and a volte toggle button in quick panel .
Also in marshmallow but not works try newer or older MM .volte works in all 3 bands as i tested in note4 901C which does'nt have band40 in JIO 4G
I had this problem for Years before. On the first day, I didn't even have signal in a well populated area with my network Three Ireland. Make sure your phone is set to the 4G/3G Option or even use 3G/2G when calling and switch to 4G when using Data. I'm pretty sure certain networks don't support VoLTE and so they don't do well when you try to configure your SIM on 4G. It should work if you use 3G or 2G. I updated to Marshmallow and this fixed the problem. When I go into the Settings of my SIM Card (Call Forwarding etc.), My phone switches to 3G or 2G and once I exit that menu it goes to 4G again. Not a complete fix but I figured it depends on the Network.

How to get VoLTE working on the Samsung S7 Edge SM-G935F?

Hi,
Aim:
The aim is to get VoLTE working so that the phone can work in India on the Reliance Jio network. "Work" as in makes and receives calls through the native phone and messaging apps.
A bit of context:
I have a Samsung S7 Edge SM-G935F.
I am want to use the phone on a network that is 4G only meaning I need VoLTE enabled for the calls and texts.
Currently I am running the XEU firmware, but VoLTE is not working when I use the Reliance Jio sim.
PDA: G935FXXU8ETI2
CSC: G935FXEU8ETI3
If you need more context info let me know.
Questions:
So, basically, I am trying to figure out the easiest, non-intrusive way to enable VoLTE without having to unlock bootloader, root the device, etc...etc. (don't even know if it is possible this way). Anway...
The first question is, can I flash a VoLTE firmware from region/network A and use the phone in any other region/network B? Will VoLTE work? Or is the VoLTE firmware specifically programmed to work networks in a particular region or a single network in a region? For example, can I flash EVR (EE UK) firmware (I think it has VoLTE feature enabled), and use the phone in India on the Reliance Jio network.
( If the suggestion in the first question is not possible )
The second question is, can I flash a SM-G935FD INS (Indian) firmware on the SM-G935F to get VoLTE working? Is it safe to flash an FD firmware to the F variant?
Thank you,
Ray
Hello, you can run Volte and Vowifi having root, you only need to know the operator's data settings for these functions
"Currently I am running the XEU firmware, but VoLTE is not working when I use the Reliance Jio sim." Does it work with another sim? Thats the impression I am getting. If it works with another sim and not your current one then it may be as simple as the phone provider not supporting the device for VoLTE. If it is a problem for all providers then you will need to change to a firmware with a CSC that supports VoLTE.
I'm facing the same Jio VoLTE problem on Moto G7 XT1962-1

Flashing stock to get dual-SIM VoLTE working

I'm currently running LOS 16 on a G7, and VoLTE doesn't work (IMS "not registered").
From what I've read, I should flash back to stock, get IMS registered, then flash back to LOS (I'll take that opportunity to update to 19). Please correct me if that's wrong.
My real question is which version of "stock" to use in a dual-SIM setup? My two SIMs are from North America & APAC.
Does it matter? ("Any version of stock will do")
If it matters and I flash one version to get IMS registered for SIM1, then flash another version to get IMS registered for SIM2, will VoLTE on SIM1 stop working?
Second question, if I change operators (within the same country) does this mean I need to flash back to stock again?
I don't understand whether the flash to stock simply gets the firmware needed for VoLTE in place, or whether the carrier does some provisioning which can only be handled by stock. In the latter case, I might have to time the flashing with my travel so that I can get IMS running on each operator's network.
