Try this:
Restore v20 to 100% Stock (!!even for bricked devices!!)
You need to put your phone in download mode and flash a stock firmware. Follow the link @myisn has mentioned. That should work just fine for you.

Hi everyone.
I got a rooted D855 and I have moved from cloudy g3 to Android 5 lollipop.
I used TWRP to back up my cloudy rom.
Wipe and install the lollipop.
I got an error every time I restart the phone (see attached photo) but almost every thing work fine.
Can I go back to cloudy g3???
How?
Can I use flashify?
Thanks for any help

If you are still bumped and have access to TWRP recovery then just download cloudyg3 and flash like you would normally for any rom. If you want to restore back to your cloudy backup then get into TWRP and click Restore. Choose the backup and swipe. Not sure what you are having an issue with since you seem to know TWRP well enough to make a backup. Can you not get back into TWRP or something?
Also did you follow the instructions skin1980 laid out in his OP when you flashed Lollipop? There are 3 zips that need flashed.
If i want go back to KK roms ( stock or AOSP) what i have to do?
Just flash your ROM or restore a backup. But, after that, flash the zip KK modem.
Download KK Modem From >> go to G3 General>> [ROM][STOCK][D855][20A- LRX21M][OFFICIAL] Lollipop rooted ROM by skin1980
Thanks.
Hi guys,
I attempted to restore my G2 (D802 international 32GB) back to the stock kitkat firmware from Cyanogen Mod 12. While attempting the restore, the lg support tool gave me an error saying it had failed, however when I disconnected the device it was apparently still doing something.
I now am at a stage where I get no recovery, download, or fastboot mode, etc, however my device is connecting to my PC as qhsusb_bulk in device manager. I followed this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 in order to help remedy the issue, however it didn't work. I'm guessing it could have something to do with the fact that I had CM12 rather than the stock firmware of which I extracted the necessary files for my device (I extracted the files from an IMEI number provided KDZ) in place of the files provided on the thread.
Could someone help point me in the right direction? Do I need the image files from CM12, or the stock images despite the device running CM12 before hand? am I following the right process?
Thank you very much in advance for any help anyone can provide, I really appreciate it!
PS. Sorry if this has been covered before, I just haven't been able to find anything else.
Were you able to find out what the problem was? I am on CM12 myself on my G2 D802. Got some problems with TWRP. It wouldnt restore backups, and had problems with flashing ROMs ang gapps so I flashed CWM with flashify and now when I try to reboot to recovery I just get the LG logo and boot verification issue... Would really appreciate if you could share your solution if you were able to find one
I recently updated to lollipop! My phone is lg g2 d800. I previously had rooted with twrp on Kk. I used lg flash tool to flash back stock. I got it updated to lollipop ota. I have tried lg root zip. I do everything exact. Everything works until I put phone in download mode. I do the send command to choose correct port and type commands to execute. Nothing happens I just get a flashing cursor. I have Also tried lg one click root script it also freezes at firmware update. Any help would be appreciated. I have searched the forums these Methods seem to work for everyone else. I don't know what the problem is.
Hello fellas, I have a LG G2 that had kitkat 4.4.2 before i start to try change the rom.
After read so many things here and there, i still have problems with the installation of TWRP.
Now i manage to put Lolipop 5.0.2 using the LG Flashtool 2014, because no other method worked, but i want to change for a clenaner one like cloudy or something.
But nothing works on my cellphone relative to TWRP. I made the root using LG One Clic.
I did the upgrade on the room couse I had no other choice and I decided to go stock on my cellphone...turns out that i downloaded a ROM suggested by SDK tool or another program from here (no sure) and it was a Lolipop not a kitkat as I thought it would be.
Now I want to know if anyone has an idea about how to install the TWRP so I can flash other roms easily.
---Autorec no worked;
---TWRP Manager says it doesn't have busybox and dont have my model on the list, i think I should use d802 as I read around;
---SDK Tool not worked;
I have no idea what to do next. Please, help me.

if you have TWRP installed then you can flash modified MM stock or custom rom (zip file)
or you can update to MM stock with kdz file and use kingroot for temporally root if needed

Will there be a permanent root in the future?

There is permanent root for MM but there is one problem, modem from stock MM will be replaced with old modem version v21a\c when you permanently root. Dont ask why its just the only way right now.
And a lot of people having problem with sim wifi bluetuth gps after that.
Any stock marshmallow modem can't be used on a rooted device, so you have to make a choice, either you want root and twrp and probably problems with sim wifi bluetuth gps, or stock modem that works always good and root when needed with kingroot. I choose the last option for myself.
Cannot downgrade from MM to LP
I bought a second hand LG G3 Cat. 6 (F460S) which is currently on MM.
Then I decided to go back to LP by flashing F460S20C_00.kdz file using LG Flash Tool 2014 method. (Download mode)
I went back to Lollipop, but then decided to be on Marshmallow with the use of LG PC Suite/ LG Mobile Support Tool.
But after some time I realized marshmallow drains battery faster that is why I want to go back to Lollipop again. But when I use the LG Flash Tool 2014 method (which I have done successfully for 2 times before), I cannot go back to Marshmallow.
Please help
I have done the connect cp, open LGUP, then restart cp. but still LGUP says unknown device
