Is there anyway to activate Google assistant directly from headphones or is it going to activate Bixby?
or from a bluetooth radio?

Let me begin by saying that I'm new to the idea of voice controls on my phone, but I like it.
I've played briefly with S Voice, and I also have My Motospeak with the BT headset I bought. S Voice says that it can work with BT headsets. How would I go about setting that up? Anyone know?
Are there other voice control apps out there that are better? Anyone have any good voice control tips?
Anyone know if a bluetooth headset works for voice control operations on the m.o.j.o or for use in android voice operated apps like evi etc,as i do not want to go out and buy one only to find it's not going to work with the feature as it's the only reason i want it.
I have a plantronics headset, and I'd like to use google voice rather than s voice or the crappy google dialer. So I followed this guide: http://brandtkrueger.wordpress.com/...voice-actions-the-default-instead-of-s-voice/
(tl;dr: use Bluetooth Launcher app, have it activate com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox.VoiceSearchActivity)
And it works most of the time, but the problem I'm having is that if I've used it once (i.e. the search bar has text in it) re-activating the bluetooth headset by pressing the button doesnt allow me to say something new unless I clear the box by hitting the back button.
Any ideas?
Hi! i'm having trouble activating the "ok Google" hotword via any headset, i have had tried wired headsets and bluetooth, the phone only listens through the built in mic, can't get the activation through the headset mic... Any suggestions?
Google Pixel 5"
Android 7.0.2
Google app 6.16.33.21
Say "Ok google" any time - ON
Trusted Voice - ON
Hands-free for bluetooth devices - ON
Hands-free for wired devices - ON
Check the settings of the bluetooth device itself. I believe you need to have "Phone audio" checked.
I know this works on mine, through my car. I've not tried it with just a headset though.
My Google Maps' navigation setting - Play voice over Bluetooth toggle is not working. When my OP5 is connected to my car Bluetooth, the navigation voice always output to my car's BT. It doesn't matter if I have the "Play voice over Bluetooth" toggled ON or OFF.
I really want my phone & media to connect to my car BT and always redirect the navigation voice to OP5's speakerphone.
Does that toggle works for you guys?
