How to disassemble a Hermes?

I have a O2 trion and unluckily have screen alignment problem. I cannot bring it back for replacement since the unit was bought in Hong Kong and carries no warranty. After all the mysteries about screen alignment, there is still no solution.
I decided to take it apart to see if there is something I can do. I have some experience with PDA design before and would like to see if it helps to come up with some possible fix.
If anyone knows how to open it up, please let me know. Thank you.

If you disassemble it, can you post high quality pictures of the naked hardware and take note of all the chipset references you see on the Hermes board? We need to know as much as possible of the hardware to start with the linux port. Thanks

Wizard falling apart

As you might have noticed in my previous thread, my Wizard took a splash.
Now, after ordering a new LCD screen, my keyboard seems to have stopped working on certain keys, and the LEDS won't go on anymore.
I think the flat cable between the board and the keyboard unit has gotten a breach in it.
Now, does anybody know where I can get a replacement keyboard, the electronics that is?
Or does anybody have a broken wizard I can buy cheap to canabalise to repair my own?
I can't seem to find anything on the internet, and I am really fond of my little Wizard.
Please, can someone help me ,before I go broke trying to buy myself a new one?

Disassembly - digitizer

howdy all,
i just got myself a jade which urgently needs to get its digitizer, outer display, changed...the jerk used a pen which damaged to layer!
now, anybody around who has some experience with this?
ideally also able to point me the way to the right digitizer, ebay stocks quite a number of different ones...

If your looking for a digitizer the one with the connection ribbon on the top right here is the link. My t3232 Jade phone also broke took me about 3 months to find one and today i found a seller. here is the link better buy it. because he only has 4 left i bought one from him allready

are u sure about that connector needing to be on the top?
there is a seller called world-2-power who seems to be reliable and he displays the bottom connector!
anybody around able to confirm this?!

[Q] I break My windows 8 tab (Screen)

I'm new here, my name is Cyrille and i'm french (sorry for my english).
Yesterday my Asus Vivotab Smart ME400C meet the ground and the digitalizer/glass got broken (The LCD stil okay ^_^).
I takedown the tab, I found the digitalizer (See picture)
I can't find this part anywhere on the web :'( , call asus they told me to ask asuspart and 2 other site but they don't have any part for asus ME400C.
Can somebody help me ?

I don't know if you had purchased a digitizer yet but I broke my screen (lcd is working fine) this week and found one on the places listed below (Sorry I can't post links). I have not ordered one yet or replaced it. All of the ones that I found are around $90. Did you find one for cheaper? Do you have any more pictures or information on taking it apart. I have replaced screen in laptops before but never a tablet and I'm not entirely sure on how to take it apart without breaking it further.

Guys i have this tablet for about 3 years now and now i face a problem, the tab do not charge anymore and does nothing, not even the orange light of low battery, he does give light of charging, but no life, is this a battery problem? Even if battery is dead shouldnt give life with the charging cable and turn on?

Elephone p8 camera module

Hi i buy an elephone p8 from guy here in Mexico and two days after my camera stop working..i open my phone and see the flex of the camera is broken..and i cant find who made this crap of phone...i can use another camera module for jiayu or inew..or not working for any reason..or aybe some one can tell who made that phone...

if i were you, i would try to flash another Firmware. Its a KitKat-Version out already, you could flash that, and have a look if your Camera is working again after that.
