[TA-1021] October Patch (7.1.2) Update not installed properly - Nokia 6 Questions & Answers

Hi all
I have a Nokia 6 TA-1021, I got the October Update when I checked the system updates. Battery was about 35% at the time so, it didn't install. So, I connected my charger and "restart & install" option showed up. After tapping restart and install, the installing progress bar appeared through a dialog then the phone restarted showing the fading android logo then, booted to OS. Status bar and notifications are visible but the screen is completely blank & black. I waited for sometime and saw notifications like "Need to set a backup account" ;"SD Card Ejected". I restarted the system and fortunately, it booted into OS showing the lock screen and stuff but things changed, the customizations I've made like, my accounts had all been removed/reset. (Installed apps and data still remains. This affects like stored fingerprint, Facebook, Google, WhatsApp accounts & stock launcher). Most importantly it did not got updated. Still in the Sept Patch 7.1.1
Now when I check system updates again, it doesn't show the latest update. What's the problem occurring here? I had the same situation when flashing Sept Patch too

[Q] Checking for updates is crashing?

Since yesterday I've been checking whether the OTA update is arriving on my N4. Yesterday, when I pressed "Check for updates", the label saying "Last checked on" changed to the current time and the window stayed open.
Since this morning, every time I press "Check for updates", the label saying "Last checked on" changes to the current time and the window immediately closes.
What does that mean? Is something broken? A reboot didn't help. I'm running Android 4.2.2, no custom ROM, rooted with stock recovery (previously TWRP, but restored the original already).

[Q] Blank Black Home Screen + How Do You Uninstall Gapps?

So ive been using OmniROM 4.4 on my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300 for over 6-7 months now (since around 22/11/2013). It has all been working as a treat. Two nights ago something seemed to of happened on my phone and few apps disappeared (they had the green android robot logo). I was also notified that some apps have updated. I am unsure what these apps were (my guess would be the googles apps; google books, google movies etc. because they were all next to each other in alphabetical order). So because of this i decided to turn my phone off. When i turned it back on, it would be stuck on the OmniROM Logo whilst booting up. It would be stuck on this for a few hours. So I left it over night. Then the next morning it had booted up and a error message popped up saying "Stystem UID's Inconsistent" with a button saying "I'm Feeling Lucky". So I clicked the button and unlocked the phone. Then the homescreen was black and blank. There was no background image, apps, widgets etc. However, I can access the notification bar. If i had any notifications, for an example a message on kik. I can click on it and it will take me to kik and it can use it as normal. When i click the home button it takes me back to a black blank screen.
So, My first reaction was to create a nandroid backup (of the black blank screen OmniROM) then wipe everything (data/factory, cache partition and dalvik cache) in CWM Recovery v6.0.4.4. After this I restored my old nandroid backup, this is my backup i created before i moved onto OmniROM so it was the Samsung galaxy s3 stock 4.1.2. So once i did this i was again greeted with the error message saying "Stystem UID's Inconsistent" with a button saying "I'm Feeling Lucky". So i clicked the button and set up my device. During this and after this Ive had about a billion pop up error messages saying "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped." and "Google books has stopped working" and it did this for all the other google apps. So its pretty clear that it must be something to do with Gapps (Correct me if i'm wrong please). Also, It did not allow me to get anything from the play store apart from twitter and rom manager. snapchat and the google app updates didn't work (that is all i have tried). I had error messages saying that i couldnt download it. I have tried installing gapps and OmniROM again and it works but i still get the error messages saying that gapps and google apps have stopped. I have also restored by nandroid backup of the omnirom (that I did before i wiped everything) and i still get the blank black homescreen.
So, I want to know whether it is gapps that has caused this? If so what do i need to do? Do i need to unistall it and install it again? How do i do that?
All I want is to go back to OmniROM and it works and this problem wont happen again. Also if i can get all my data (apps, pictures etc.) that i saved in my nandroid back that i did when i was on OmniROM (before i wiped everything) then that would be great!
I appreciate it very much if you have read this and helped me out.

Cannot Install 7.1.1 Beta

I have a Nexus6p that was been freshly wiped and flashed with stock Nougat running latest October build. I signed up for the Google Beta program and immediately got an OTA. I downloaded it and i pressed reboot and install. It said rebooting.... 10, 9 8 etc. When the countdown finished it just stuck at rebooting and nothing happens. I leave it for a minute and think it's going to reboot itself. When I come back after 2 minutes the phone still hasn't rebooted to install so I cleared all the apps from recent apps tray and I opened the update menu again. The update menu said your system is up to date. I checked the storage menu and the ota files were still on my phone because google play services was taking up 1.8gb. I rebooted the phone to recovery and cleared the cache. I also tried using apply update from sd card but it just said sdcard was invalid. I booted back up and the files deleted themselves, and the system update menu still said your system is up to date. I cleared play services data, and unenrolled and reinrolled. I have to redownload the OTA again which is a waste of time and internet. Any idea what happened?

Google Play downloading after every boot

Since rooting my phone, I've noticed that after unlocking the screen after every boot, the 'downloading' icon pops up on the left of the status bar and a notification box briefly appears for Google Play being downloaded. The process last just a few seconds.
I've never noticed this behaviour before., except when manually updating apps. Google Play is not set to automatically download so I'm not sure why it is happening.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
I'm running Oreo 8.0 and rooted with Magisk. Also have Xposed installed plus a couple of modules, but not sure any could be responsible for this.
Thanks for any help

Problem with notification bar toogles

MOD EDIT: thread closed as per the request of the OP.
Friends 3 weeks trying to solve this problem!
It all started when It skipped the September patch update notification, I couldn't install it via otg because I had my cell phone rooted. I download the update zip and install it from my computer, everything seemed normal.
I installed my applications and everything I use modules and one day when I was in college I needed to use my phone and I noticed that the animations of the system were not working normally, but I did not put much importance because I was in class.
The problem I have is the following: For example, the flashlight icon when is actived of the flashlight is white (it should be black) and when deactivated it is gray (should be white) and also the animations on, off it's stay paralyzed does not turn
I'm going to put screenshots
Already try to install the system from zero, uninstall magisk, uninstall all modules, turn on the phone in safe mode, install an old version of the system and nothing solves it.
Somebody could help me?
THX.
