AOSP Roms and TWRP ? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions & Answers

Hi there,
Quick question, Is there any TWRP and AOSP ROMs such as lineage os or Resurrection Remix OS available for US version of S7 edge ? ( G935T, G935P or G935A).
Sorry for noob question but, I cant seem to find any thread which mentions US models for aosp roms.
Thanks

Boot loaders are locked down tight, Not TWRP or custom roms. You can root, and do some mods like Viper4android, and Xposed, but that is about it.

Thanks for reply. Just few more question ? I have G935P with T-Mobile carrier and want to switch carrier roms to
T-mobile or unlocked version. any suggestion on that.
I did little research on that, I can see that all snapdragon models ROMS are interchangeable. But I am confused as G935U has different CSS such as TMB and VZW. and G935T has TMB. so how come unlocked phone such as G935U has CSS of TMB / shouldn't be it general css?
Also, I am concerned about partition size on different models as I can't seem to find PIT file for G935P or G935U to compare with ?
and what about KNOX counter after switching different carrier ROM ? is samsung pay work after flash ?
Thanks in advance for clearing my confusions.

Change verizon rom to international rom

Hi people,
Can i flash international rom on a Verizon galaxy S5?
If yes, how can it be done?
Thanks!
To install international G900F rom, must be bootloader unlocked:
Same way as flashing a normal kltevzw/G900V rom, find a klte/G900F rom and flash it. Any incompatibility warnings are probably outdated, but be careful, and remember, you can't make too many backups.
Just know that you won't be able to use CDMA networks (Verizon is CDMA).
To enable 4G/Phone service in other countries, works with locked bootloader:
You're stuck with the G900V rom. If you're just looking to get support for extra bands in other countries, look into GalaxyTools by Idoneapps. It can give you international support on most existing roms, stock or not. Kinda hard to use but you'll get used to it.
Both methods will most likely require some APN settings modifications.
If your cat suddenly gets eaten or you need clarification, I'd be glad to help.
(You weren't too clear on your request - I didn't know if you wanted an international rom or international support, so I tried to include both.)
I have G900V model but I do not have verizon services in my country. I wanted to get rid of verizon rom as it's of no use to me. Therefore I was looking for a intrenational varient. I am running MM6.0.1 with rooted and bootloader unlocked. Will flashing a G900F rom again lock the bootloader.
How to proceed withave the process. Please help.

Other carrier flashfire roms on the g935a

Just wondering if one could use, say, g935u flashfire roms on the g935a if they don't include a custom kernel now that we have root? If so, that opens up a whole realm of possibilities.
I get the feeling I may be off on either how flashfire works, or how limited we are one what the g935a can do with the locked bootloader.
Interesting

TWRP

Help.... I have a ATT Samsung with Verizon G935U When I changed my op system to Verizon G935U I thought that it was unlock...boy was i wrong i am still locked down. I need to install TWRP so i can install custom roms. Can anyone help me with TWRP or am i locked down for good? Where is safestrap?
Alright so ANY phone in general from ATT or Verizion they are always going to lock the bootloader. So for 935U when it says unlocked it means carrier unlocked meaning you can use it on any US carrier (Tmobile,Sprint,Verizon,ATT,etc) that doesn't mean the bootloader is unlocked. ALL US s7 and s7 edge have the bootloader locked (whether it was Samsung choice or carriers idk) and there is no way to unlock it. So any Samsung phone that was made after the s7 just buy the international variant bc those bootloaders are unlocked and can have TWRP and custom rims installed, however you can still get root here's the link to the thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-s7-edge/how-to/root-method-nougat-t3566978
Sorry to disappoint you dude☹

No there aren't any roms because your variant has a locked bootloader.
There will never be a custom Rom for the snapdragon phones. At least not the north American phones anyway.
There will only be custom systems, which debloated systems. Nothing else, we can't get a new kernel, just new system.

TracFone S8 - Can It Be Rooted?

Is it really a Verizon if that's the cause I know the bootloader would be locked.
But is it possible to root and install custom rom's on the TracFone variant?
Also does the keyboard cover case work with vanilla aosp type rom's or only samsung versions?
