So yeah...
Also can someone explain me what miscellaneous really mean, in my thoughts it was "the actual battery drained compare to what system said." Sorry for the noob question.

Hey Guys.
Can some talented Dev trying to port it to our SGS2?
This looks pretty good if it can work on the sgs2
Complete and utter bollocks, not one of those changes would have any notable effect on battery life.

Sense! Beats! Booster! would be better...
Why port it easy enough to modify the files without porting .
Tenfold battery life do that mean twenty days instead of two .???

No, what we need is a talented moderator to lock down the blatant lies and spam.
So I'm very lucky that no one is here.

I hear turning the phone off improves battery life a million fold.
I am sure it will not improve the battery life 10 fold but it might still improve it. Why do you guys complain without even try it or have a serious look at it. If think the title is miss leading but it still be a good tweak.

That is the only true post so far!
Good shot.
I think we can pretty much shut this down. MMK?
Nothing about this is accurate, other than batteries not lasting forever - that was a good one.
Hi,
does anyone knows if the display scaling option (like the one that should be shipping by default with any nougat phone) is available on the s8?
I watched some videos digging into the settings and didn't had the chance to confirm it was there, any info?
By the way I'm talking about this feature: http://www.androidcentral.com/fit-more-your-galaxy-s7s-screen-condensed-mode
Best!
I got the phone so I can now answer to myself : YES!
Yes, there are three options: HD, FHD+ and QHD.
Edit: I just now see OP answered his own thread, so my reply is kinda redundant :silly:

In fact I was talking about the screen "content density", not the rendered resolution.
Not sure if I'm clear, so I try to say it this way: the option allowing to display more content on screen is present.

I installed AOSPA some minutes after posting this. Im in love with it, speed is a lot faster and the UI is beautiful. I don't know about the battery life yet tho.

yes there was already news reported about the app on the pixel's and that it was actually slowing them down, so i would imagine any phone that has this installed would have the same results.

What else can we turn off that can help the device's performance and battery? Besides turning off the device off course. Lol.

I don't have the option to turn digital wellbeing's usage data permission wtf
Edit: I have successfully uninstalled digital wellbeing through adb, hope it was worth the while. I didn't use it like at all but I enjoyed seeing it there
i'm amazed by the amount of positive feedback but can someone post a simpler guide. i really wish to try this out.

Do you maybe know why it hasn't been implemented in any custom rom? It it just not a requested feature or is it a really complicated feature?
Cause really it's the only thing that's keeping me away from a custom rom.

Idk but maybe cause it's triggered by gestures which are also not there in an OnePlus way hence the screenshot isn't possible
It also works without any gestures just volume down and power then select expanded Screenshot.
Or did I not understand you?
