Hi all,
I recently installed fRomFuture ROM, but being an idiot I didn’t take note of which brand it was...
The phone was purchased in the UK on the EE network, does anyone know which brand it will be?
I don’t have the box or the sticker on the back of the mobile.
At the moment in the About phone I have the following incorrect info
EMUI 3.1
Android version 5.1
Build Number NRD90M Test-keys
Model D189-L09
Any help or advice appreciated
Mike

Sorry, this is P10, not plus.

Hello Guys
My Friend bought SGS6 Edge+ (G928C) a used one
the phone works perfect it has one problem only, the phone doesn't get mobile network
the previous owner said the before he updated it the phone was working great, but after the android 6 update the network didn't work anymore
when i took a look at the software information I noticed something strange
The Baseband version: G928FXXU2BPB7
Build Number: MMB29K.G928CXXU2PBP8
Now i'm not expert on the subject but as far as i now the baseband & build number should be aligned, i mean the bb is G928F and the build number is: G928C
could this mismatch cause the noted problem ?
will a full wipe with the correct corresponding ROM fix the problem ?
thanks for your help, it's greatly appreciated
Hi there, sorry but I'm new to this device I used to own a Moto g 2014 but now I'm the proud owner of this device, however I'm from Mexico and my device is the VNS-L23C212 from at&t/ Iusacell.
The issue here is that this one has the emui 4.1.1 and this variant might never get the emui 5.0 or newer, having a look online I saw that someone managed to get the VNS-L23C605 (which I think is the global version) firmware on his device but it was never specified how he managed to do so.
I just want to know if it is possible to do so and what is required, also if there is any drawback of doing it, I saw that there were missing features on the camera
Thank you for your time and sorry for the long post
:good: :silly:
Pd this is the 2016 Huawei p9 lite
Hi all I'm super new to this so I'm hoping someone can help me and I hope I'm doing this right. Thanks for your time ?
I live in Perth, Western Australia and recently bought an unlocked ZTE axon 7 mini (ex display) from a local retailer for a steal.
I can't seem to get it to update though through its native update program (just says network unavailable)
It's running Android 6 marshmallow and I know that it can run nougat (I'm hoping Oreo too maybe? Or soon?) in other countries and I'm hoping one of you brilliant tech wizards can help me as I feel the phone will benefit greatly especially with the battery life. Here's it's particulars
Model - ZTE B2017G
Android v - 6.0.1
Build - ZTE B2017G APV1.0.0B01
If you need any more info (like baseband or kernel, not sure if you need that?) please let me know I'll update this thread.
Thanks again!
Did you manage to update your phone firmware?
Hello guys. As I do not live in the USA, i do not have a AT&T SIM and my phone never got any updates. Initially, it was on baseband version G892AUCU1AQG4. Till recently, I was stuck in this version. I managed to update to G892AUCS2AQL1 using links from a Russian forum. But, the SS-G892AUCS2AQL1-to-S2ARA1-UP.zip is corrupted and so I cannot update beyond this. I would be highly thankful if anyone could help me find a working copy of this file.
I have an old G6 H870S with software version V20o-AME-XX. I don't care about preserving the data but I'd like to try and update the phone to Android 9. On the LG fan club there is an Android 9 Pie for Algeria H870S30b_00_OPEN_AME_DS_OP_1212.kdz which is Android 9.
The last two Algerian versions are:
H870S20o_00_OPEN_AME_DS_OP_0802.kdz - Android 8
H870S30b_00_OPEN_AME_DS_OP_1212.kdz - Android 9
The last United Arab Emirates version is:
H870S20o_00_OPEN_AME_DS_OP_0802.kdz - Android 8
Notice that the last Android 8 Version looks like it's the same.
So what do you think about using LGUP to upgrade the phone using the Algerian version?
Has anyone tried it?
P.S. - I purchased the phone new in Australia and thought it would be the DS version but it appears that the retail seller was sourcing the phones from overseas. Something to watch for in the future! They did not false advertise because they didn't say it was an Australian model but they also didn't say it was an overseas model either. They just said it was an LG G6.
