I'm using Nova Launcher on my S8 but when I swipe up to open the app drawer, I can see the home screen dock icons while swiping and it goes away when the app drawer is fully open? Is there an option to disable it?
Anyone experiencing the same problem?

It works for turning the phone on. For turning it off, you have to double-tap the notification bar.

You can assign double tap gesture to screen off app from Play Store. Assuming you have gestures in Apex. I'm using Nova Prime.

What is the app called? Apex has double tap gestures but no option for screen off.

I'm using this one because it doesn't mess with lock timeout. Assign shortcut to double tap. Chose second (lower) shortcut. Of course, first step is to enable app. Enjoy

When I open an application through App Drawer of Google Now Launcher and close it after using App drawer comes on the screen. But the background is turned to black. When I go launcher screen and comes back then it will be OK
Also while on App drawer, if I click the recents and close any and come back to the App Drawer then the background goes black.
There is a lag while coming to the Launcher screen from any app.
The phone is rooted. How to fix this. Plz help

uncheck Don't keep activities in Developer Mode
uncheck Don't keep activities in Developer Mode
This will fix the issue with the black background error and the lag.
Rooted and working well. Unable to hide the bottom navigation bar using end apex launcher. When using the default Amazon launcher, the bottom bar fades after a second of non use. Not the same with apex. prevents a full screen experience.
Anyone having a similar problem?

I use GMD auto hide soft keys from the play store.

You mean the bar still persists even in apps? Or just when you're in the home screen of the launcher?

I'm using Apex aswell. Download GMDAutohide Softkeys from the playstore. And run the program with start on boot enabled (I'd probably buy the 'Pro Version' otherwise the navigation bar has a red line showing). Then under apex settings you can turn the notification bar off. That's how I got mine to look like this:

there are modded touchwiz home apks just search on xda but the best idea would be getting another launcher and then isntalling a touchwiz theme.it would use less ram and look pretty much the same
