pre-ordered 2 Black Pixel 2 XL's 64gb.
XL 2 Black 64GB, order placed 1029 PDT, shipping date Oct 17, estimated arrival 18 or 19.
In past experience, because the drop ship location is only about 30 miles from me, I usually get it same day as shipping.
I got my order in for the Pixel 2 Xl just black 128gb version, happy I didn't wait and just ordered it. I was going to go with the 64gb version and kinda mad I didn't save the $100. Currently my phone has almost 40gb used and that is after almost a year or use without removing anything. Guess I would rather have more than half of my storage available instead more than half taken.

My thoughts,
People seem to have an issue with the price tag which falls in line with every other "flagship" device on the market. I think this signals the end of Google producing higher spec products and selling them at midrange prices. To some I'm sure this is frustrating and disappointing, I think of it as Google challenging Apple, actually going out and getting involved in the manufacturing of their own device and for that I applaud them. It's going to cost me a few more pennies than I'd like, but I would rather give those extra pennies to Goggle instead of Apple, Samsung etc...
I hope the premium price I paid is justified by receiving a premium phone come 21 October.. Looking forward to it ...

Gone are the days of crashing the Google servers hoping to get a pre order.
Nexus devices were ment to be for developers offering mid range devices at a subsidised price. This is a flagship killer ?
My only hope is that the resale value will hold up and not go to the toilet like the N6 but I doubt that. Apple and Samsung will hold that until this product like gains popularity
Nexus 5 and prior would lose maybe $100 from launch price when selling a year later. I will be lucky to get half what I paid next year when I sell the pixel but this is something I'm aware of.

I tried the 5x for a couple days (borrowed) and I liked the size. I didn't like the speaker and build and screen quality. The Pixel look great for me. All the specs but 1 handed operation. The VR also looked cool so I was presently surprised after I order to see I will get that free. I know the general community is outraged but I'm excited for this phone!

Yeah, kind of quiet... It was dead at work today so I actually watched the whole launch event and refreshed the Google Store until the preorder came up... I'm pretty stoked, finally get rid of this loaner iPhone 6+ I got when my Note 7 was recalled... Really miss my Nexus 6, this should be a great phone and my only gripe from the specs is the 5.5" display. I was really hoping for 5.7"

It seems like the reg preorder and shipping thread is dominated by Google store order. I thought I'd make a place for just Verizon orders. It's pretty hard to see a trend with Verizon orders. Not as many orders as Google Store ones. I've seen very little 128gb XL Pixels being shipped if any.

128GB QB XL on 10/19. Original ship date of 11/18 and has been "processing" since order date.
I have the Note 7 and getting messages from vzw and Samsung to shut phone off.....I'm here waiting to but have no phone to the Pixel comes in. If the shipment gets delayed vzw isn't going to want to know me!!

Last night my order disappeared from Verizon's website, luckily it is back again, but mine still shows a 12/9 ship date.
For some reason my order disappeared anyone else order do that?
My order shows up with the pre-order number, but the status does not show up, whereas, yesterday it showed 'processing.' It also does not show the order for the return shipping box (for $300 trade-in) that was there yesterday.
I ordered my Pixel XL 128GB Black on 10/14. The original ship date was 10/20 but received an email stating that they were unable to ship it on that date. The new ship date was changed to 11/18. I checked back after a couple weeks and my order status changed to shipped. I received the phone on 11/2.
I ordered a new Pixel XL 128GB White for my wife yesterday. My order status page shows the phone but everything else is blank. On the phone page prior to the order it said the ship date is 12/26. I spoke with a sales rep and they told me that is an estimated ship date and that it could be shipped sooner. I guess we shall see.

Same here - ordered 128GB QB XL on 10/19. This morning still showed up as processing with expected (original) ship date of 11/18. As of this afternoon, number and acknowledgment that phone was ordered are still up but all details are gone - no processing, no other status and no ship date.
I ordered the 128 pixel XL in black on 10/18 with expected ship date 11/18 and it still sits at processing. Have not received any delayed emails of any kind yet. Love my Note 7 but ready to be done and move on.

My order keeps appearing and disappearing unfortunately.
Anytime it appears, it doesn't show the ship date nor that it is processing. Something fishy is going on with their website and app.
Ordered 10/18 expected ship date was 11/11.
Got an email saying new ship date will be 11/26. Sigh I don't think they even know when they will have enough to send.

Weighing up whether to cancel and order from Carphone Warehouse as their ship date is listed as 20th November. On announcement day I also got a text from EE to say I could upgrade early (from my 6P) so before I could stop myself I'd pre-ordered the 64gb all black version. I hate having to pay out on a two year contract but I'm a full time student and just can't afford to buy outright.... Well I could but it wouldn't eat or have electricity for a month or two lol. I went full stock (for the first time in years) when I initially flashed the first develop preview of Oreo so it should hopefully feel like a seamless upgrade. In fact I'll use my 6p to root, Rom and flash now I'm getting a shiny new Pixel XL.

Just watched the link you shared, the video stabilisation on the Pixel 2 XL was light years better than the iPhone plus..... Can't wait to try that feature out myself now.

I was about to order it in the beginning, but just when I was looking for my credit card number, it was out of stock. I switched to black and later found panda was back to stock with a long lead time. Hence I stick to Black order, but Panda is a nice color.

Nice.... That’s the earliest I’ve seen. I ordered the 128 GB as well. My ship date is November 6th, with delivery of 8-9th. Crazy how ordering a couple minutes later, can mean a couple more weeks until you actually have your phone. Maybe we’ll get them early, like some of us did, last year.

That's not bad at all! I've seen a lot of late Nov orders. The earliest I think I've seen for the ? was a day or two before mine, not sure.. getting too excited
Yes, I had forgotten that some of the Pixel and Pixel XL orders were shipped early last year, until I saw on one of the other posts, where people were talking about it. Some got theirs a couple weeks early. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but it's happened before.
I'm hoping they ship early. I got a November 20th ship date but noticed today the hold on my credit card was gone which is interesting....
Edit: Apparently the hold is supposed to disappear. I was under the impression it stayed on the card until it shipped and the pending charge would be finalized but apparently that's not how it is handled.
Hopefully they come early than its listed but it weird that when they first when live they were going out of stock then they would become available again that was happening for like the whole next day thats how i was able to order a second one.

On the way is a 64GB Panda. Ordered within minutes of the announcement and got a 22nd of Nov delivery date. Anyone know whether best buy has them on display yet? They now do in the US.
I have my 128gb Black XL on order from Canadian Google Store but shipping Nov 15th...figured I'd order from US store ..save $200 after xchange rate and also shipped to my US postal box on Oct 24th...

Ordered a Black&White 128GB from the Google Store during the announcement - ships Nov 20th.
Then ordered a Black one and a Black&White 128GB one from Rogers - no idea when those will ship, but I am #4 on both lists. I'll pick up whichever comes first and cancel my other orders!
64GB Just Black during announcement. Ships Oct 23 to US postal box.
I pre-ordered Black 64gb from Rogers, Nov. 14 delivery?
Also to answer the question that was put out few post back,
Software/Firmware on Google Pixel phones in Canada will not
be touched / changed by any Carriers, if the bootloader is unlockable
from Google, that will remain the same delivered to customers.

I honestly don't see the point of pre ordering anything from any service provider in Canada. You ll have it in hand faster if you go to the store and pick it up on release day .
Any of you guys worried about the burn in that's happening, that should take a while to occur. On my gs8+ which I had since May, doesn't have any signs of it.
