Anyone order from Samsung directly?

I placed my "pre order" for the 32GB white model on September 28th I think it was (from Samsung's online store). Still listed as being on backorder.
Anyone else order from Samsung? Have you received your device yet?

I pre-ordered my 32GB version from Samsung as well. A few days after the units began shipping, and hearing no word from Samsung, I canceled the pre-order and ordered one from Amazon. I had it the next day.

Hmmmm, I don't like the sound of that. I emailed them and was told that the item is on backorder. Not much of a pre order. I wanted to use bill me later 6 month deal, so I guess I will hold out....

Wow looks like the G is in great demand!

Just ordered mine for the USA version. The ship date changed from Dec. 2 to Dec. 9. The international version ship date is still Dec. 2 though.

The Brazilian version comes with earphones and usb charger adapter but truth is, we pay a lot more for those "extra" items.

Same here, Dec 9th.

I believe the US version has always been December 9th. I ordered the first day it was available (November 26th) and it said December 9th even then. It's always only been the Global version that was shipping on December 2nd, not both. None of the news sites ever seemed to report this distinction though.

Yeah, I believe Motorola wised up to the fact that they were going to miss black friday and basically the whole gift giving season in the US under their original plan which was to release in early January. That was the first thing I wondered about when the Moto g announcement came.

Here in Chile it's having a great success. One small department store has started to sell the 16GB version last week for US$188 (equivalent). Now it is becoming difficult to find it.

Yep. Also, there's no 8GB version in Chile. And we get a wall charger instead of a USB cable.

Perhaps with its low price, excellent reviews and word of mouth the Moto G is going to be a game changer in the market. Looking forward to getting mine either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I ordered it on the 30th. Hope it ships earlier too.

In Canada, we only get the 8 GB version locked to Telus or Koodo; however, people have been scoring the phone outright for a cheap price as part of the BF deals.

Just bought one to replace my Gnex. If I don't like it, I will just get the Nexus 5 when its back in stock. I have been curious about this phone for its low price and good reviews.

My cousin and I both ordered a g. He ordered a International Version and me U.S. Version. His shipped yesterday and he said he'll have his tomorrow....

Also ordered 2 Chromecasts, delivery estimate is 6th to 8th. Status still says pending though

I had to close out and go back in a few times before I went through.

Got NX5 ordered ships in 2-3 weeks. I hope they ship early! Rummor until last few days was orders not until 13 Oct.

question regarding the screen resolution.
old nexus 5 2013 - 1920x1080 @ 440ppi 4.7"
new nexus 5x 2015 - 1920x1080 @ 423ppi 5.2"
can someone explain this? i'm not versed enough in screens to make sense of this cause initially my thought was the screen is worse???

Old Nexus 5 was 5", not 4.7. And the larger the screen the less pixels given the same resolution.

I just placed two separate orders for 5X, one order for white and one for carbon + folio case.
Both orders had the same shipping date: Oct 28-30.

I got charged almost the same day as i ordered it. but my estimated delivery is at oct 28-30.

Verizon Preorder and Order shipping thread

Hi everyone,
It seems like the reg preorder and shipping thread is dominated by Google store order. I thought I'd make a place for just Verizon orders. It's pretty hard to see a trend with Verizon orders. Not as many orders as Google Store ones. I've seen very little 128gb XL Pixels being shipped if any.
Ordered very silver XL 128gb 11/1 expected 12/9.

Ordered 10-23, expected 12-2. I hope it's sooner than later like some in the other thread. I ordered 128gb black

Ordered late 10/31 w/ SAVE20 code, expected 12/9, 128 GB Black
update 1: Just checked Verizon webpage on 11/11 and both XL 128 GBs are now showing ships by 12/26/2016

Ordered 10/20 128gb black ship date 11/18....says pending for about 9 days

128GB QB XL on 10/19. Original ship date of 11/18 and has been "processing" since order date.

I have the Note 7 and getting messages from vzw and Samsung to shut phone off.....I'm here waiting to but have no phone to the Pixel comes in. If the shipment gets delayed vzw isn't going to want to know me!!

Wonder if Verizon versions have to go through special protocol vs the ones straight from Google

Last night my order disappeared from Verizon's website, luckily it is back again, but mine still shows a 12/9 ship date.

For some reason my order disappeared anyone else order do that?

My order shows up with the pre-order number, but the status does not show up, whereas, yesterday it showed 'processing.' It also does not show the order for the return shipping box (for $300 trade-in) that was there yesterday.

I ordered my Pixel XL 128GB Black on 10/14. The original ship date was 10/20 but received an email stating that they were unable to ship it on that date. The new ship date was changed to 11/18. I checked back after a couple weeks and my order status changed to shipped. I received the phone on 11/2.
I ordered a new Pixel XL 128GB White for my wife yesterday. My order status page shows the phone but everything else is blank. On the phone page prior to the order it said the ship date is 12/26. I spoke with a sales rep and they told me that is an estimated ship date and that it could be shipped sooner. I guess we shall see.

Same here - ordered 128GB QB XL on 10/19. This morning still showed up as processing with expected (original) ship date of 11/18. As of this afternoon, number and acknowledgment that phone was ordered are still up but all details are gone - no processing, no other status and no ship date.

I ordered the 128 pixel XL in black on 10/18 with expected ship date 11/18 and it still sits at processing. Have not received any delayed emails of any kind yet. Love my Note 7 but ready to be done and move on.

My order keeps appearing and disappearing unfortunately.
Anytime it appears, it doesn't show the ship date nor that it is processing. Something fishy is going on with their website and app.

Ordered 10/18 expected ship date was 11/11.
Got an email saying new ship date will be 11/26. Sigh I don't think they even know when they will have enough to send.

PANDA waiting room

Creating this waiting room so we can post when the "panda" white and black pixel xl start shipping. I ordered two 64gb and 128gb ans have a shipping date of nov 27 with arival of nov 30 to dec 1. Only post on pandas since these are the ones that are being delayed.

Someone says since the red dot, it's not Panda but Penguin... what's your opinion?

I was about to order it in the beginning, but just when I was looking for my credit card number, it was out of stock. I switched to black and later found panda was back to stock with a long lead time. Hence I stick to Black order, but Panda is a nice color.

Pixel/XL was the first Google phone I actually didn't pre-order... was happy with my 6P (at the time LOL). They actually had ones that shipped earlier?

That's not bad at all! I've seen a lot of late Nov orders. The earliest I think I've seen for the ? was a day or two before mine, not sure.. getting too excited

Yes, I had forgotten that some of the Pixel and Pixel XL orders were shipped early last year, until I saw on one of the other posts, where people were talking about it. Some got theirs a couple weeks early. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but it's happened before.

I'm hoping they ship early. I got a November 20th ship date but noticed today the hold on my credit card was gone which is interesting....
Edit: Apparently the hold is supposed to disappear. I was under the impression it stayed on the card until it shipped and the pending charge would be finalized but apparently that's not how it is handled.

Hopefully they come early than its listed but it weird that when they first when live they were going out of stock then they would become available again that was happening for like the whole next day thats how i was able to order a second one.
