Hi guys, I just saw that India posted the official honor 5X KIW-L22 firmware for Android 6.0 / EMUI 4.0.

Well thanks @wimbet ! as i'm on beta i got it upgraded with 129Mb and well looking for FP patched in next CM 13.1 @crpalmer

I don't know the EU schedule for KIW-L21, but the US version KIW-L24 will get Android M #soon. I would expect that all the regions get it around the same time - there are just some small differences to allow for testing and verification. If regular updates are important to you, then I encourage you to keep sharing your feedback on the official Hihonor channels like the Honor Global Facebook page. Honor does listen to its customers and your feedback is very important.
For the US KIW-L24, I will make sure to request the latest kernel source and downgrade packages are uploaded to the official Hihonor.com support pages as soon as they are available.

The global Hihonor site will get a redesign soon that makes it much easier to find and select your regional site.

pathetic update. SUcks bigtime . i rooted phone after using 1 day. Can not able to withstand such lag for one day.

Stock Roms are phone version specific. If phone version is L-21 you cannot use L-22/L-24 or any other Stock update/rom.

Its not out in EU official channels... Only lucky 500 made the cut officially and where given a chance to join beta programm to test out... yes of course somebody copied and now you can download and install manually, leaked image from the beta program for european models, but its not final as 'in the air' as OTA for everyone. (Like official launch) EU has the same Nougat deadline - Q1 for both Nova and Nova plus
(So keep in mind that the available EU nougat image IS A BETA version, that still can have some bugs and change a little bit.)

Chinese firmware no playstore that is correct you want a custom rom adding it. You are out of luck as the devs do not have this device. Sorry

You can install Gapps manually, check this app
make sure to give all permission for the ones that get installed

1. What are the odds of gapps not getting installed ?? if i flash stock nougat from: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-c9/SM-C9008/
2. Sim wil be detected or not?
3. Currently i have marshmallow install.. there is playstore... why the above nougat will not??

Just curious. Has anyone here yet received the Oreo 8.0 or Android 8.1 update for their Mate 8?
My build number is NXT-L29C432B582 and despite my re-locked bootloader and FRP lock, I haven't seen any updates. My phone runs on an official stock rom.

Not out yet, I seen that people got it on Asian/Chinese software recently and I belive there has been has been a "promise" that it will out for other regions but no date has mentioned

That is really sad and I was suspecting this as there is no update for ROW since last few months. Oreo Chinese last update was 2 months ago. So it is end of the road for ROW as well as Chinese. At least China got Oreo but for us ROW, their promise proved false. Too bad.
