Just curious. Has anyone here yet received the Oreo 8.0 or Android 8.1 update for their Mate 8?
My build number is NXT-L29C432B582 and despite my re-locked bootloader and FRP lock, I haven't seen any updates. My phone runs on an official stock rom.

Not out yet, I seen that people got it on Asian/Chinese software recently and I belive there has been has been a "promise" that it will out for other regions but no date has mentioned

That is really sad and I was suspecting this as there is no update for ROW since last few months. Oreo Chinese last update was 2 months ago. So it is end of the road for ROW as well as Chinese. At least China got Oreo but for us ROW, their promise proved false. Too bad.

I have a huawei nova eu version single sim with android 6.0 on it
I want to update my phone to android nougat but i'm afraid cuz i saw alot of threads talking about bricked phones and nougat problems like theme manager not working ..... And this is my first huawei phone
My device info :
MM 6.0
CAN-L01C02B140
CUSTC02D004
if i search for update from the settings there is no update but with firmware finder i get CAN-L01C02B340 and i don't know if it stable or not
Should i wait for the OTA or update from firmware finder ....

First, let me tell you that you don't need to make X same threads or posts to get attention. One is enough. You just need to be patient.
You better wait for OTA.
The latest firmware is B350. I've used it on my CAN-L11 and I've found it better than B340, which was laggy a bit. The battery backup seems to be as EMUI 4.1, more or less (according to my usage).
The bug of Themes app can be fixed if you're rooted. Here's a guide about how to fix it.
In this post I've wrote the steps I've used to update to B350, through Firmware Finder. Just "click to show content". If you have locked bootloader, then skip the steps 3-->6.

In firmware finder the latest one is b340 i don't see B350
Is the B340 official and stable and not a beta version
Can i install L01C432 on L01C02 ??

It's said that firmwares from Firmware Finder are official ones, but I have no proof about that. I think B340 is a beta and prolly B350 too, not sure.
As I've said in my previous post, I've experienced some lags with B340 on my CAN-L11 and I can't recommend it. I didn't have any issues with B350 though.
There wasn't B350 neither when I've updated it. I installed B340 and then updated to B350 through Settings > System update.

As far as I know, you can't. You have to install C02 over C02 and C432 over C432. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
So I have had my mate 8 since February and I haven't received 1 update I'm still on Android 6.0 and emui 4.0 is it just me or hasn't there been any released?

I just received a new update today for L09C316B150 -> L09C316B160.
I also contacted Huawei directly and they say they don't have any time frames on when the EMUI 5 will be officially released.

I knew going in (from the mate2, to mate8) that Huawei was slow about updating, but even I got the EMUI5/Nougat 7 update on
my L29C185B180 to L29C185B560 then to 580 on the official built in Huawei update app. Last update I received was on
7 March, 2017

My mate 8 is on Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0.

Are there any news regarding the update for Huawei P9 Lite to EMUI 5.1 i found that there will be Oreo update but date is still TBA
As soon as we get Emui 5.1, we will get Emui 8.0.
I still have not got a proper emui 5 update yet I still have the NRD90M test keys bs and Huawei said to just wait untill I get the update so it will still be awhile before we get another major update if at all

I've bought online a new P10 lite that I'm going to get in a few days.
As it will probably come with the old 7.1.2, I will flash the firmware with the lastest Official Android 8.0 Oreo Update (unfortunately, I'm a new user on this forum and I currently cannot post outside links, but you can find it if you ask Google for "Huawei P10 Lite Official Android 8.0 Oreo Update").
I want to root this stock firmware. On this forum, the following webpage shows how to do it (I guess it is for 7.1.2) : https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/twrp-how-to-root-p10-lite-t3617418
... but I'm wondering, does this procedure work with the above mentioned Oreo stock firmware?

For P10 Lite (WAS) no Oreo!!! Oreo is on P10 (VTR).

You are correct, I didn't read carefully the link I referred to, I thought the downloads were Oreo firmwares.
However, Oreo for P10 Lite is about to be released (see twitter com/HuaweiPhones/status/957808377484148743)

Oreo is released in germany. Did somebody found something usefull? There are many tutorials but they are kind og shady....
Would be nice to get a update on that topic.

No it hasn't come out yet. I'm hoping it will be coming this month since Huawei has said the device is getting emui 9.1 this month. We just have to wait and see.

Did your phone received the OTA update to any newer version than 8.0.0.377? My Mate 9 (MHA-L29 C567) was bought in USA and is stucked forever on 8.0.0.377.
