I have a MT3G without a data plan on T-Mobile US. Until this week the market, and google talk were working fine over wifi, but now I am not able to sign into google talk, and the market hangs on "Starting Download" for apps. I thought it may be a ROM issue - I am currently using CyanogenMod v 4.0.4 - but I have switched to a couple of different ROMS and still have the problem. The only other thing that has changed for me is my location. I moved from AZ to TN to go to school. Is anyone else having this problem? Any thoughts on solutions?
Hows it going everyone? Im back on the stock rom on my Nexus 4. Im running into a problem with my cellular data and wonder if anyone has any recommendation on how to fix it.
The problem is certain apps will not work with cellular data. I can browse the internet, use streaming music services like Pandora and Play Music, and check bank account balances. But when I try to use other apps they cant detect a data connection. The apps affected (that I can think of right now) are Hulu, Netflix and a app that lets me pay my gas and electric bill (My PG&E). Ive run into the problem before with other apps, I just cant remember which ones. Im on AT&T and wonder if maybe I have my settings wrong. I never changed anything because I was under the impression that when I put my simcard in it would know which settings to use for AT&T.
Can anyone tell me why this might be happening and perhaps how to fix it? I would really appreciate any info that could be provided.
Thanks in advance.
Hi all, I'm stuck with a problem with my S4 that's been plaguing me for a while but has got a lot worse since my upgrade to KitKat. Put simply I can't connect to Google services over wifi, whether that's GMail, Google Play, Google Music or any other service via a Google app. Other apps are fine and if I switch of wifi I can connect over 3G with no problems.
I'm stumped and (ironically) Google can't help me. Apart from using 3G any time I want to use a Google app on my phone, can anyone suggest either a solution or something that can help me work out what's going on?

Hy there
It's a server/internet setting. In my school I also can't connect to google services, that depends on the network. Maybe contact your administrator or look what could be the problem in your network
Rooted Verizon Note 3 N900v on StraightTalk
Android 4.4.2 KK
The issue I'm having is slightly odd, data works fine the majority of the time but streaming stuff such as YouTube videos and Pandora songs won't work most of the time. Also sometimes data doesn't work at all and I have to turn data off and then back on a few times to get it working again. Right now Pandora works but still having issues with YouTube. Everything is working fine on my wife's OnePlus One and she's on ST as well, so I don't believe it to be a carrier issue. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix or potential solution?
Try swapping your SIMs, check if the problem persists if you use your wife's SIMcard in your phone. There's a chance it's a SIMcard issue.
Sorry for the late reply, it's been a busy time for me. That seems to be the case! I can't believe I didn't think about that but thank you nonetheless!
Hi,
Just got this phone for 2 days. I am unable to download apps from the Google store using WIFI, download froze on "downloading".
I tried factoring resetting twice but still not working. When using cellular network apps downloading is no problem.
Anyone has any idea how to solve it or is experiencing the same?
PS. Same threads suggest disabling IPV6 but that too didnt work.
