i wiped twrp, advanced wipe. i wiped dalvik/art,cache/system,data,internal storage and usb otg.
i am trying to copy and paste oneplus rom onto phone internal storage. The laptop shows copy window but never transfers file over to phone.
any ideas
You'll have to search how to do it using ADB.
There's a toolkit somewhere in this section. It can be helpful as well.
Good luck

I recently rooted my Nexus 10 and was wiping by data and system partitions for a fresh install of CM10, and I accidentally chose format all data. So my device is wiped except for TWRP.
I was hoping to just plug it back into my comp. and copy the zip over to install but even though my computer sees the device it doesnt show as removable storage,
I also tried to use adb sideload, but i get the error "failed to write data 'protocol fault <no status>'
Does anyone have advice for how I can get that zip back on my tablet.
In TWRP, select mount, then mount usb drive. Plug into your pc and it should it appear as a usb drive for you to copy the rom or zip.
Edit. It appears that the nexus 10 version of TWRP does not have this option.
Instead, you could use an otg cable and flash drive and copy it to your n10 with TWRP's built in file manager.

Hey I just got my Google Nexus 4 Phone 16GB .
One question I accidentally formatted my whole phone that means , No files in there only CWM and Bootloader . How do you get back all the files ?
Formatted meaning, i was rooting my phone, it rooted successfully but, i went in to CWM, mount and storage, and formatted,
my system, data, cache, sdcard and "data and /data/media (/sdcard).
Unable to install drivers on pc
abd devices recognized my phone as emulator-5554 device
unable to transfer files or to mount usb , there is no way to transfer files into my phone
There is no files inside my phone, except Clockworkmod
Please do help me. Thank you
EDIT: Problem solved
just do a flash back to stock with this tool:

When I connect to PC in MTP mode i can see first "Internal Storage" then when i click, I can see my folders and files in somewhat my "SD card". But there are specifc files that doesnt show up like for the App Backup Restore, wherein all the backedup apps are stored, I could not see it when I open this folder. But when I use ES explorer in my phone, the backed up app files exist. Why is this so?
One more thing, I am still quite confused on the folder and file configuration of our nexy. It seems the folders "storage\emulated\0\", the "storage\sdcard0\" and the "\sdcard\" are all the same in content (i think). Can you explain how it works? Is it just like mirrors of the same sd card folder? if so, then which is the real one? Im confused.
One last thing, when you say "Internal Storage" or files in the "Internal Storage", does it refer to the phone system memory (is this also the "\storage\" ?) or the internal sd card?
Sorry for being a newbie..
One of the reasons why Im asking about the missing files is because I was hoping to transfer these APP backups to my PC because when I make factory reset or wiping in preparation for installing PA ROM, it might also delete the files in my SD card folder (or will it not)?
So I hope you could explain how I could see these files. All drivers were installed and PC communication is working well. Im just lost now how come I could not see this files wherein in the ES file explorer the files exists in that folder.
When you wipe to flash PA rom just factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik cache and system in advance wipe in twrp's wipe menu. That's all you need to do to make that switch to pa ROM. If you do not wipe data then you're fine. Everything in your internal storage will still be intact.

If you are talking about the files that you see when you enable show hidden files on ES file explorer, then you would need to do the same on the PC. Also, if these files are an extension that the PC does not recognize, maybe it is possible that it will not display them thru MTP.

So I was about to flash a ROM and I had too many things on storage and cleaned and wiped everything. I then went on to use Format Data, hoping that it will only delete files and not the OS too. So now it deleted the OS and I'm stuck between bootloader or recovery mode and I can't seem to find a way to copy the zip file to my internal storage. Tried adb using cmd but it's not recognized and I'll have to dowload Google's SDK. This in turn will take about 2 hours and I'd really like to fix the problem ASAP. Anything I could do please?
Thanks and much appreciated.
You could always go to recovery, Mount your sd card and copy the file that way. Or setup fast boot and flash the stock image, or even just push the rom file through adb. You have a few options.

Adb-toolkit is in the folder but cmd is not recognizing it unfortunately. And through TWRP I have no option to mount USB... usb-otg doesn't work...
Anyone please? I have no idea what to do at this point and I'm pretty much phone-less...
Guys, need help. I've selected "Wipe Data" in TWRP 3.5.2 and am now stuck. The phone does not appear in Windows. I don't know how to copy ROM file into it...

First of all, do you know what you really did?
In the title you say FORMAT, here you say WIPE - which of the two you did???
Both options exist in the TWRP, but they are DIFFERENT things
When installing a different ROM, you have to FORMAT Data (not Wipe) - hence do it to make sure you would later not have problems
Second, you first had to flash the ROM, then Format Data.
But ok, now you still have two options:
- use an USB OTG stick, copy your ROM to OTG and then navigate in TWRP to OTG and flash the ROM from OTG
- Format Data, stay in TWRP and connect your phone by USB to PC, wait until it installs the drivers to PC and you will be able to copy your files from PC to Internal memory while in TWRP (TWRP also supports MTP)

Thank you!
So apparently steps to fix this, were to flash an older TWRP 3.4.0 (don't know why 3.5 was not behaving) AND install Android driver from MiFlash dialogue... (Also don't know why as before the formatting, phone was detected alright with older driver).
Then the phone appeared in windows folder and I was able to copy files onto it
