I think the folder you extracted the rom must be in C:\ and have no spaces or symbols, e.g. C:\miuirom and not C:\miui rom or C:\miui_rom.

Your device is in locked bootloader, you need to unlock your bootloader first before flashing ane image

Yes its locked, but it was unlocked, instaled twrp and rom whitout any problem, after reboot to forst boot the bootloader was locked again, i don't know why!
I tried lots of solutions that worked to many people, but anything thats online was useless for me, even the solutions with hardware...
Anyway thanks for replying, but i already solved the problem, just needed to unlock whith miflash unlock and it booted with the new rom i had instaled before locked again.

I'm not rly good with electronics etc, my phone came with root access permissions via Security MIUI app so I installed SuperSu to manage it easier (MIUI app reqiured to manually check each app to allow access), no custom ROM or anything installed, the way it happened was
1. updated supersu from google play
2. entered supersu app,it asked me to update su binary
3. I clicked yes through recovery
4. it rebooted and got bootlooped.
It's stuck at the "mi.com" screen when turning on, can't go into recovery, fastboot mode only shows an image of Miui mascot without any fastboot options. I've followed some tutorials online and got the thing below from minimal adb.

Fastboot will show that android icon only.
No fastboot options will be available there.
Now you need to perform some steps to recover your device..
Note - Your data will be wiped. Also, remove memory card (if any).
Now let's start the process -:
Download MIUI Fastboot ROM file.
Here's the link..
1GB RAM model - http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=wt88047_global&b=F&r=global&n=
2GB RAM model - http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=wt88047_pro_global&b=F&r=global&n=
Also extract this file and put in C Drive.
Now turn your PC on..
And install latest Mi flash tool. http://api.bbs.miui.com/url/MiFlash
Turn your device off. By pulling battery. (Assuming that your device is in bootloop).
Go to fastboot mode (power + volume down)
Now turn your PC on.
Open Mi flash tool.
Connect your device.
Click on refresh button in flash tool.
Now, it will show some random numbers. (This is your device).
Now, select your ROM fastboot file which you downloaded and extracted.
After that, choose 'flash all' and click Flash..
It will take some time.
After that your device will be rebooted.
Voila! Your device is back to life!

I tried to flash a custom rom (MorfuZ) and after installation is complete, the phone reboot and stucked on black screen. I can't get to fastbook or recovery screen. The MultiTool software recognises the device. I tried flashing trough the ''Unbrick'' method and it seems the process is completed, but the phone won't boot. I tried to turn it up but even the screen is not turned on. I have no red or green led as the others threads says (yes I've read a lot of them). The only sign of life is that my PC detects it as "Fastboot2.0" and it's supposed that I flash cust, boot, system and recovery imgs but nothing happens at all. It sounds it's rebooting and the cmd also says that but there is no change. My phone is LATAM version (WAS-LX3). Already bootloader unlocked, installed TWRP and rooted (magisk). My laptop recognises the device the (prompts sounds when connected.)
I tried flashing boot, recovery, system from this .zip file Warsaw-L23_C605B172_Firmware_Panama_Bolivia_Peru_Chile_Colombia_Guatemala_El Salvador_Nicaragua_Honduras_Nonspecific_Android7.0_EMUI5.1_0501 but I couldn't find the CUST file to flash with Multitool software.
This is what I get after flash using MultiTool

If You still have TWRP and if you are on Emui 8 use HWOTA8 method, otherwise if you are on Emui 5 use HWOTA7 to flash your build. As you have already unlocked bootloader the first step in script will be automatically skipped.
Its very easy just follow my video tutorial. Instruction for HWOTA7 is on Serbian but you have instruction on English and some things are logical just view video.

Yes I understand u must use DC phoenix and test point method after that Hcu client to restore Imei, seriall. Dc phoenix and Hcu client are about 20 usd credit for 3 days. But for test point u must open the cover and on board find test point, conect it, plug usb and run Dc phoenix to restore all partitions. Its not so easy but phone could be fixed.

Hi,
I've installed an ota update and the device didn't boot... it is stuck in a bootloop....
When i try to flash via fastboot, it appears an error saying that the device is locked ant cennot erase...
via fastboot oem unlock i get the error message: Remote: oem unlock is not allowed
via MiUnlocker the unlock gets to de 50% and gives an error and on its logs it says: Remote: oem unlock is not allowed
I tryed to flash TWRP with command fastboot flash recovery but the error is the same: remote: partition flashing is not allowed
Can anyone help me please??
I'm stuck on the bootloop i can't go to setting - developer - allow oem unlock option!!
Have you tried doing a Factory Reset from stock recovery?
This is a strange behavior, even if an OTA update corrupted the system for some reason, the phone should boot from the original slot.
Have you tried switching slots manually from fastboot ?

How can i do that?
Hello!
I've faced the exact same problem yesterday.
You need to force the phone to boot in EDL mode by opening the back cover and short circuit 2 pins as shown in THIS video.
After you have the phone in EDL and being detected by your PC (you need the correct drivers, you may get them on THIS thread by @CosmicDan), you may use MiFlash Tool to flash official PIE Rom, access developer options and enable oem unlock to be able to unlock your phone again.
If you wish to revert to Oreo, please use THIS guide.
Cheers!

Hello everyone, I recently installed via twrp 3.5.0.9 the new official V12.0.5.0.QFJEUXM rom from the latest xiaomi eu stable rom (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK20MI9T_V12.1.2.0.RFJCNXM_v12-11). I just wanted to see how it was, now, I can not install the recovery again to install the xiaomi eu. Someone know how to help me.
It is as if it does not recognize the device when I send it the adb command, although in principle it does.
Thank you first of all.

Before flashing, try: fastboot devices
In Developer options, is OEM unlocking and ADB debugging enabled?
If fastboot devices does not recognize device, try another USB cable or uninstall USB drivers and try again
Yes , OEM unlocking and ADB debugging is enabled, and i had tried with original cable and other one. Thanks for your answer i will keep trying.
"Before flashing, try: fastboot devices" it doesn´t work.
Don't type reboot bootloader if you are already in fastboot
Just flash recovery.
Your address is long, try c:\adb\twrp.img

Seems that something is wrong with your USB driver on the PC - adb devices works but fastboot devices does not (where Bootloader is unlocked and OEM Unlocking enabled)
Try uninstalling the USB driver(s) on the PC or try another PC

Or copy the (twrp) img file right into the ADB folder on the PC, and go with CMD into the ADB folder before running adb/fastboot commands
Then no paths are needed, just like:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
But that will not help him as long as fastboot devices fails
I thought about address length, sometimes adb has problem with it, worth a try
fixed, thanks for your answers, the problem was the laptop and drivers, i have had used other pc and install without problems.
