Charge problem - JiaYu S3 Questions & Answers

Hi!
For some reason whenever I connect my phone to the charger the phone's LED becomes red and it says charging but it doesn't charge. Moreover I can't connect my phone to pc anymore. Did anyone else had this problem before? I was thinking to replace the usb socket or buy a replacement usb-microphone board but I'm not sure if this would fix the problem.
I would really appreciate any suggestion!
Thanks!

It's a battery problem. The original jiayu s3 battery is problematic. Don't buy an original S3 replacement battery.
I hate the same problem until I bought a kompson battery

But when i disconnect it, battery isn't full. I bought a new battery but the problem is the same. I thinck, i'm going to buy an external charger for my both battery. But before i want to know if anybody have the same problem and perhaps a solution.

very special battery problem!

I read through all the forums and threads related to battery problems but non was similar to the problem im facing. My wall charger isnt working.when i connect it to my hermes the amber light turns on.the status of battery is also charging, but it isnt charging..once in a bluemoon sometimes it charges to aroung 20-25% thats it.my phone charges on usb connected to pc and on car charger.what can be the problem in the charger and possibly if a solution is available let me know
Does it charge with the wall charger when the phone is powered off completely? If it does, then its a software issue, and a new rom flash should solve it. If it doesn't then its a hardware issue.
On my phone, the usb socket has started to wear out, and it got to the point where it sometimes randomly lost the connection. I bought a dock off ebay, and that has luckily solved my problem.
it is the problem wid d charger....

[Q] Not charging.

Hi,
I have a strange problem with my uni. When ever i charge it by the wall adapter it shows charging and even the orange led glows but its not charging. And when i connect to my computer through USB then it is charging but very slow. Can any one tell me what and where is the fault? Is it my adapter or uni?
Thanks
It could be your battery most likely, second perhaps the charger and in last option could be Uni (on that case a hard reset could help)
I have recently bought this battery so that cant be the problem plus its charging from the usb. I guess its the charger not UNI
On that case you can buy one very cheap this days

[Q] Touchscreen not responding when charging

Does anyone have this isssue, I bought my Samsung i5801 from ebay and I'm very pleased, its a great phone, but when its charging from the wall outlet the touchscreen doesn't work, but if I charge the phone from my computer, it works fine, I've tried loads of ROMs and the problem persists, its probably an hardware issue.
Just want to know if anyone has this issue and if someone has, how to resolve it.
Thx guys...
Please some one, just tell me if you have this problem when charging the phone..
Touchscreen not responding when charging
my old spica has got same problem. So, my charger was not original.
Very Likely, your charger is not original. Fake chargers is do this problem.
Please try charging with USB cable, or change charger.

[Q] USB Charging problem. PLEASE HELP!!

The USB charger does
not seem to power the device
enough to get it to power on. It needs a battery
that has been charged up.
When I ordered a new battery, the phone
powered right up! But, as I was
trying to troubleshoot the problem, the battery
eventually drained to 0.
The problem occurred after I replaced the front
glass. I upgraded to 4.3
after I ordered a new battery after draining the
original one. I was hoping that a fresh OS install
might help the problem,
but it did not. The phone ran the same with 4.2
as with 4.3. I handled the
motherboard with great care when doing the
repair, and the phone worked perfectly before
that. (I have done many successful phone
repairs). I suppose it's possible that the
motherboard was damaged somehow, but it has no
sign of damage and the only
problem is the battery not charging. charging
sign- It did show when the battery was charged.
Now that the battery has drained down,I will
sometimes get an orange light when plugging in
the USB charger.
The battery has drained to the point that the
charging animation indicator on the screen no
longer appears. The battery has been drained to
the point where it does not have enough
power to boot the phone..

My battery suddenly started dying extremely quickly, and sometimes the phone showed that it was charging from a USB cable to the computer instead of through a wall adapter. I have also replaced the front screen assembly and am on 4.3. What the hell is going on? Tons of people with issues like this.

go to original stock. you will come to know wheather is sofware problem or a hardware. you will be able to troubleshoot in a better way.
Already have. Looks like a hardware issue.
I gotta say...this phone has been all kinds of problems for me.
