Bro If data is corrupted then there is nothing you can do just factory reset everything will be fine :good:
Its NOT lineage problem. Just format data. Rough Instruction: Make sure you flash latest TWRP from Gtrcraft. Boot into it, Tap on Wipe and then tap the 2nd button which says "wipe data" and type "yes".. this will remove encryption and again reboot into twrp. You're good to go. I repeat NOT lineage or any ROM's fault.
This happens if you encrypt your data or format your storage to f2fs. Happened to me before too. No biggie. Happy flashing.

Hi folks, first off English is not my main modus operandi so bear with me thx.
I tried out every room there is for the VNS-L31, CM13 from here, Revolution RC3 from a Spanish forum, Beanstalk and a few others what where more glorified reskins ... anyway before installing CM13 I made a full dump on TWRP but wile forgetting I wasn't on stock but on Revolution RC3, so I ended up with the wrong encryption key for the DATA folder, pardon me internal memory SD ... RRC3 is based on the European Stock B150 with a lot of tweaks, also a not perfect encryption of the internal SD similarly to CM13 problem with the SD.
Here is the main beef I am having, after getting of CM I tried to restore my dump and ended up ****ing up the encryption of the internal memory card. Now I can't got back to say the 161 internalional version and I am kinda bound to the European L31900B versions of the stock rom if I install anything else the accounts like Google or Facebook are not working and anything not installed already on the phone is FC.
I can't format data because of the encryption. Not under fastboot or any of the trwps, tried 3 different ones, I checkted the phone is not frp. I did lock frp and bootloader again and unlocked them so to double make sure I was right on that one. I tried going back to stock with the dload method but no dice data still locked. Delete accounts with root explorer and went back to vnsl31900b130 what seams to be the firmware that I am stuck on now with the ****ed up encryption ....
I am used to flashing stuff left and right but this is new land for me any help would be greatly appreciate ... And my warning DONT SCREW WITH TGE ENCRYPTION ON YOUR PHONE ... ITS A *****!!!!

Nope I deleted everything in TWRP, System, Cust, that is not a problem, the data partition on the other hand I can't format not I twrp, or by fastboot erase/format/-w commands ... Really annoying, never had an issue like this ... Funny that I can delete things with an root explorer under Android and that saving data works fine but the moment I leave the os it just closes up. Even the dump I made can't replace the data partition outside of the os

No, but I am starting from scratch, also I am trying to manually corrupt the data partition so to be able to format it ... Just a pain, at the moment I am stuck, maybe if I can get someone else's firmware dump for my phone might do the trick its big so I am not sure anyone would upload something that big ... We see

Did you try to Flash stock recovery and do a factory reset?
Or via fastboot do this command :
fastboot format userdata
Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L31 using XDA Labs

This is problem
It looks like you've installed TWRP and not wiped data. /data is encrypted and therefore TWRP cannot read it.
If you go into TWRP and choose wipe, then select format data, then type yes. This will wipe data and remove the encryption. Although this will wipe all data, the same way a factory reset would.
This will now allow you to access data in TWRP.

When pressing Wipe, make sure you're not swiping to factory reset. Press 'Format Data' and then on the next screen type yes.

Has anyone installed this thing? I don't know which one should I put on my phone. Everytime I want to return to MIUI phone gets stuck on bootloop, forcing me to use cable with switch to unbrick it. I think it happens because of encryption. And since this is my first Xiaomi phone I don't know where to check if my phone is encrypted. Help me.
You have to disable DM-Verify in Advanced in TWRP before boot

But now phone wants some password.
Your phone is encrypted?
Maybe your phone is encrypted by you. There is a function to encrypt all the data on your phone using a password.
Earlier I was on Megapixel Rom running february vendor img. I flashed my PN ROM backup thru flashify then it boots up with my security lock pattern. It shows that my pattern is not correct. I am rebooting to y TWRP but still it doesn't show me any files and I cant flash a zip rom. Someone help me (((
Try using different decryption method...
Your problem seems to be unsolvable right now. This is a known bug or vulnerability in the latest release of TWRP build. I am sorry.

See the sticky thread in General: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/psa-twrp-backups-lockscreen-security-t3245070
You might be better off flashing the full factory image to start over and then reflash whatever you want in terms of recovery and custom rom. I did that when I was in the same situation as you. But I have never successfully restored a nandroid backup on the 6P and I never had that problem with any other phone I have ever owned. Different versions of TWRP only give me different issues when I try to restore a backup. I've had bootloops. I've had TWRP ask for a password even though I removed security before making the back up as people advise. I've had backups that seemed to restore until I started getting error messages that there was something wrong with my device and I should contact the phone manufacturer. I've given up on Nandroid backups on this phone.
