voice typing leeco lepro 3 stock rom - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

I have found instructions somewhere but lost it. So I need that microphone logo above keyboard and how you get it working? All the custom roms works nicely but this stock have to install something? I have 23s and gboard keyboard and google apk are installed.
Thanks.

nobody has done this? Howto get that microphone logo working with your android keyboard or gboard keyboard. Push that and write with your voice...

The Google app needs permission for the microphone. You also need to make sure the voice keyboard is active under keyboard and language settings.

Voice to text

Hi All,
I'm new to android and have just purchased the Samsung Galaxy S. Can anyone tell me if it has voice to text like the nexus one or desire ?
yes under settings you can enable it.. but app has to support it.
Hmm i can't seem to find it. I want to be able to use speech to text for things like SMS messages.
I can see an app called "Voice Text" in the market - do I need to buy this first ? It's got terrible reviews.
I cannot find it either.
The Nexus One came with a voice recognition keyboard and voice search. Were these Android 2.1 standard or were they specific to the N1?

I want to know as well. I think the Evo's feature on this is great, to speak out a text reply if driving is great.
My guess is they are 2.1 standard (I read voice input EVERYWHERE is a feature). However Samsung have replaced the standard android keyboard with their own, and Swype does not have that feature (yet, I looked it up and they said they will be adding the microphone button very soon)
You may be able to install the default keyboard for android?
Supposedly this is a feature of Android 2.1, but for some reason Samsung seems to have left it out.
I purchased Better Keyboard, which allows you to enable the mic/input button on the keyboard, but when you press it you get an error message that your phone does not have the voice recognition engine installed.
You can use the Samsung Apps on the SGS to install VLingo for free (it's $9.99 in the Market), but you have to use the crappy vlingo keyboard to get the mic button that works.
Very disappointed to see this feature missing from the SGS. Supposedly the SGS version of Swype is getting a mic input button, so I wonder if the newer JWM2 ROM floating around has that in Swype and includes voice recognition.
Edit: this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=712100 has a link to a working version of the voice search. I've installed it and it works.
Some are reporting that installing Google Search by Voice from the Market corrects this issue. I can't validate since that app doesn't show in the Market on either my Nexus One or my Galaxy S.

my I9000m did not come with google voice search.

What app do I need to install to get Google Vioce search. can't seem to find it on the market..

Not available in Canada currently because it only supports English.
found how to get it.. just do a seach on google for "com.google.android.voicesearch.apk" and download and install and it works.. copy it to your SD card to install it.
nevermind it just crashes out. worked on my x10 tho
here this version works
hmm... if you are talking about the Bell version it comes in the stock ROM
it's labelled as "Voice Dialler"
but it is not only voice dialing, when you speak to it, it comes back with search results for both software and contacts, if you execute either one, it launches the app, or it dials the contact

thanks it does work
Earlier today I change the sell code to english and ta-daaa: voice search appeared. I'm actually looking for a way to get rid of it right now
You lose all your data though. So if you're gonna try it, go ahead and back up. I use Titanium back up (I don't love it, though: you have to stay by the phone waiting to give the green like* everytime an app is being re-installed).
EDIT: *light
sell code?...
Hmmm, maybe that's not its name. Anyway: *#272*HHMM# change HHMM for your local time, so if it's 12:30 it should look like: *#272*1230#.
Once there, check the codes http: //samsung-firmware . webs . com / samsunglettercode . htm (remove blanks) and apply the english one.
i get only this page when i google sell code samsung... so i'm not sure if such a thing exist.
anyway the 272 trick doesn't work on my i9000.

Thanks,
Market didn't have "google commands" but it had "voice commands". Voice commands was listed as free but when i clicked on the link it said "not found"
I tried both appbrain and android market.
Anyone have the apk for voice command or google command?
I'm not exactly sure why voice input was removed, probably a combination of the fact that it doesn't support french and also that Samsung stripped out the default android keyboard (which has the microphone button) and replaced it with 2 far superior keyboards: their own, and swype. I guess that's the one downside of swype is you don't get the voice input button.
However Samsung did include Vlingo for free (I'm aware that Vlingo has since become free for all phones since the updated google voice commands were announced for froyo). Vlingo is actually far better than the google voice input (at least for 1.5-2.1) as it gives you commands as well as the text entry. You can also setup the Vlingo keyboard which is essentially the stock Android 2.1 keyboard including the mic button.
From what I can tell it detects words just as well as the google service. Vlingo lets you put widgets of any size (1x1 to full screen) so this kinda makes up for the missing mic button on the google search widget.
I would imagine when the 2.2 update comes out we will have the google function back with multi language support and commands!
well Nirvana388 beat me to it, i was going to recommend Vlingo as well

Thanks, but Vlingo requires internet right? My old phones had voice recognition without the requirement of internet.
Ravi84m suggested "google commands" because it doesn't require internet??

[Q] Swype beta voice input CM7 not working.

I just installed swype beta in cm7 (nightly#8) and although the voice input key is visible, when I press it nothing happens. I do have google voice search installed and it works as it should. There are no settings in swype regarding voice input. How do I get swype to respond to the mic key? Is this a known thing in GB? Help would be mucho appreciatico.
Sent from my glacier running CM7
Having the same issue on my EVO
Reinstall of swype and its installer did not help
Having the same issue with HTC_IME_MOD voice input as well as SoundHound , and the Genius Button flashable apk found on this site. Thought it was the genius button but looks like others are hitting the same issue. SoundHound says the mic is locked, HTC_IME says Audio problem and GB just opens and closes insantly, no FC or anything...
CM team, HELP!!!
I will send logcats just tell me where they need to go!
[email protected]
I didn't have Google Voice Search installed. Fixed it without even rebooting.
op- maybe try reinstalling Voice Search? Or even "fix apk/uid mismatches" in recovery?

[Q] Predictive keyboard in google apps

Hi!
I'm using google apps in my rooted KF (talk, gmail, etc) and they work great, except that I cannot disable predictive text in them... This is a major annoyance for me, since I mostly type in Spanish (I don't want predictive text in Spanish either...).
I've disabled the "quick fixes" under Settings>Kindle Keyboard, and it works everywhere but in google apps.
Does someone know a fix for this? Should I install a 3rd party keyboard or something? (I really don't want to have to do that since I'm a noob with adb and stuff)
Thanks!

How do I get continuous voice input to work?

Hello all,
My continuous voice input used to work well with the stock ROM, until I installed Janjan's deodexed lite ROM.
I couldn't find anything in the add-on aroma package for this ROM/
May I know how I can get Google Voice Typing to work?
I installed Google voice search but what I'm looking for it continuous voice input... the one that types as you speak in realtime.
Thanks
