S8 plus didn't unlock with proper unlock code from carrier. - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

I was given the unlock code for my s8 plus 955u by Comcast (I'm a Comcast dealer, and got it cheeeeeeeep) but it didn't seem to do the job. When I popped in a sim, it asked for the network code, and the supplies unlock code did not work, so I attempted to use the unfreeze code they supplies me as well, and it accepted it, removing the prompt forever after. The issue now is a message in the notifications thast says the sim is not an xfinity sim. Any ideas?

Try using the dialer code #7465625*638*# and put your code in there

[q] please help-atrix unlock issues

I am not sure what happened. I have an ATT branded atrix. I purchased an unlock code from someone on ebay, and the code was incorrect. I entered the code several times and I believe i have carrier locked the phone. Now even when i stick my att sim card in it brings up the "enter network unlock pin screen." I can hit dismiss and get into the phone but I cannot get service even with my att sim card in the phone. So as of right now my phone is not unlocked and is unable to be used with any sim card. Please help as i need the phone. any advice will be helpfull.

Sim Unlocking Quantum Question?

Hello All.
I just moved back home and brought back with me a LG Quantum. I had really wanted the HTC Arrive from Sprint, but the lack of GSM capability was the deal breaker.
I purchased the LG Quantum SIM unlock code, but when I tried inputting the code, I got a PUK code error. I understand this a Unlock code that is associated with only the SIM card. So before I attempt unlocking again, my questions are:
1. Should I get another SIM card from my home network and re-input the code?
2. Has the PUK Code blocked the phone from accepting any SIM's other than AT&T?
3. IN the event that I have to get a PUK code, is this code specific to a SIM Card, the IMEI of the phone or AT&T?
Thanks for your help.
As i understand your trying to unlock the phone so you can use any SIM card?
1.No contact the service provider to get the puk code but i find it unusual that you would get a puk code when trying to unlock it. That usually happens when your try to enter a SIM pin in to many times which could have happend. in which case you have to contact that service provider to retrieve that PUK code.
2.The puk code is requested after the SIM pin was entered in to many times incorectly.
3.The PUK code is specific to the SIM card.

[Q] AT&T S5 -- Sim question

Thanks in advance for your time.
I consider myself somewhat savvy. I have searched all over for an answer before asking:
I bought a SM-G870A and I have tried putting an H2O SIM card with no unlock screen. I tried two other SIMS with no unlock screen. I assumed it was unlocked.
I tried selling this phone to a guy who was going to use it in Mexico and told him it was not SIM locked. He tells me that when he puts his SIM card in it asks for an unlock code.
I am lost as to why it would suddenly ask him for an unlock code but all my SIMS did not. I have not been able to see him try in person yet.
Why would I be able to put SIMS in the phone and not get asked for an unlock code. I thought that meant it was unlocked?
Thanks for the help!
I just went through this "sorta" thing when I unlocked my t-mobile s5. I took out my t-mobile sim and put in a metropcs pcs sim and got no unlock screen upon reboot. I put in a cricket wireless sim and upon reboot I got the unlock screen, which I quickly put in my unlock code.
I'm assuming since metropcs is owned by t-mobile, that is why it didn't ask for an unlock code.
Is h20 owned by at&t, if so, that could be why the phone didn't ask for an unlock code when you put in the h20 sim

Thanks for the feedback. There could be something like that going on.
h20 uses the ATT network.
I tried a Simple Mobile (T-mobile) and no unlock code prompt
I tried a US Cellular LTE card -- would not connect to network -- no unlock code prompt
I tried a Verizon LTE card -- Same as US Cellular
I am stumped as to why this would happen. I would think a locked phone would not accept those cards without an unlock code prompt.

How to unlock my Nexus 6p? EE UK

Hi guys, I got my Nexus 6p last week from EE (UK network) and I have a problem:
Next week I'm going away to a diffrent country (Poland) for Christmas and New Years Eve and wanted to put a SIM card from that country into my phone, but it says I need a PUK code to do it... So I called EE and said what the issue was, and it turns out I will be able to get after I will have been for at least 6 months with EE ( I'm a new customer).
Is there any way I can unblock the phone on my own?
Cheers in advance.
If it requests a PUK code, you have to find the PUK code that belongs to that SIM card (from Poland).
So, you'll have to call Poland for the PUK code, or have to check the documentation you got with that SIM card.
I think EE was talking about a network unlock code, that's a complete different thing.
Edit: A PUK code is normally needed when you enter an incorrect PIN 3 times.

Yeah, you're right, I meant a network unlock code.
So is there a way I can unlock it on my own?
Anybody?
I used this http://m.sim-unlock.net/sim-lock/72/Unlock_by_code_for_Huawei_phones/#details worked a treat and I had the code within 24 hours

Where To Enter Network unlock Codes on Sprint Galaxy S10+

I have a Sprint Galaxy S10+ and purchased the unlock codes for it.
I popped in my ATT SIM card and I was never prompted to enter any of the “unlock codes”.
At the top of screen, it said “Invalid Sim”
Do anyone know how to get the screen where I have to enter my unlock codes?
Thanks

Invalid sim normally means the sim is not working. It should bring up a pop box asking you to input network unlock code.

Okay..I will try a working sim from a different carrier.
In the past, I just inserted a different sim from a different carrier. Regardless if it’s activated or not.
But I will try a working sim and report back in a few
