SM-G906L bootloader + unlocked? Rooted twrp but stuck with bootloader - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got a rooted Samsung S5 SM-G906L (korean) and I've successfully installed resurrection remix via a twrp flash: V5.6.3-20160212-lentislte.zip
It all went well but when I reboot I now just get "set warranty bit : Kernel" - i think the bootloader is locked
I think my bootloader is locked but after reading many forums I still can't tell whether it's locked AND more important i can't unlock it.
I'd like to get RR working but atm it looks like I need to restore my backup or go to stock firmware (both of which can be done)
Ive tried adm and other suggestions still cant install rom.
In download mode it says:
Odin mode
Qualcom secureboot: Enable (CSB)
Reactivation lock: off
Secure download: enabling
UDC start

Have I bricked my Note 4?

Hi guys. I'm having some problems with my Note 4. I previously have rooted the phone, but tried to use SuperSU to unroot it. I was getting errors loading some apps telling me that phone was still rooted so I attempted to do a factory reset on the phone. Somewhere along the road I appear to have messed up the firmware.
Basically, when powered on my phone states "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." If I open the recovery menu on my phone (power+home+vol. down) it says
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N910F
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: CUSTOM
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
AP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE
UDC START
I have tried using Kies (both versions) which say that my phone is not recognised in the emergency firmware recovery options, and the firmware upgrade option fails.
I have also tried using Odin using firmware N910FXXU1COJ3_N910FO2U1COJ1_O2U and N910FXXU1BOC3_N910FO2U1BOC1_O2U.
I am totally stuck for ideas. Is my phone bricked?
Unfortunately I can't upload screen shots due to my account status.

Do you use Stock Kernel or custom Kernel?

I'm not sure. I assume stock.

Judging for your answer I assume that you are kinda "new" to this ROOT & flashing ROM stuff?
Am I correct?
If you are "new" to this stuff....I suggest you read & re-read everything before "plunging deep into the abyss"
Now the answer,
ROOT & Stock 5.1.1 Lollipop Kernel is a NO GO!
By updating your KitKat 4.4.4/Lollipop 5.0.1 into Lollipop 5.1.1 (BTW COJ stock update IS Lollipop 5.1.1) will remove your ROOT access.
Re-ROOTing it will cause a bootloop....IF you didn't change your kernel into a "Permissive" one.
Try flashing a custom permissive kernel if you are going to keep ROOTed.
It'll fix your problem.
Download ODIN, then go to samfirmware and download some software for your phone. Use Odin to flash whatever firmware back onto your phone and start again.

I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER... but I have a rooted, unlocked BL, with TWRP on 5.0 OF1 BUILD and here is what it says in the DOWNLOAD MODE.
Odin mode
Product name: Sm-900v
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
Reactivation Lock: off
Qualcomm Secure Boot: enabled (csb)
Ap Swrev: S1,T1,A1,A4,P1
MODE: Developer
Secure Download: Enable
UDC Start
I think the "MODE: Developer" is the answer if the bootloader is unlocked. BUT AGAIN I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE.
What you can try to find out for yourself is..
1.go to download mode and write down what it says.
2. Root your phone.. then check what it says again.
3. Unlock BL again see what it says.
If it says "Developer" after you unlock bl then it a good assumption that it's ulocked.
Good luck.

Yes, if you see developer mode on the download page... It is bootloader unlocked.

Needing help - Stuck in Odin

Hi all,
Please bear with me, I'm in way over my head here and don't understand most of what I've done. I was experimenting when I probably shouldn't have been.
So, I installed DarkLord's Note 7 kernel and rom. I found it to be quite buggy and am now wanting to wipe my phone and install Phronesis-N9005-N7-v6.0.
Problem is, when trying to boot into TWRP, I'm met with the the following:
ODIN MODE
Product name: SM-N9005
Current binary: Custom
System status: Official
Reactivation lock(kk): Off
Knox Kernel lock: 0x0
Knox warranty void: 0x1
Qualcomm secureboot: Enable (csb)
Rp swrev: S2, T2, R2, A3, P3
Write protection: Enable
UDC start
Downloading...
Do not turn off target
I've had it on for hours and it didn't do anything.
I managed to reboot it and it ran as it did before, in Darklords rom.
I read I have to install the official firmware and install it via Odin but I can't find anything about my device. On the back of it, it says:
SM N9005
FCC ID - A3LSMN9005
SNN - N9005GSMH
When I enter it into sammobile, nothing comes up.
Have I got this wrong? Should I be looking for something else?
You are booting to download mode not recovery .
Boot to recovery TWRP
#N9005 model firmware are on sammobile etc.

Booting into recovery via TWRP manager just results in the same Odin screen for me
As for the firmware - I'm not really sure which region I should pick out of those. I just thought this was an international model, but then I downloaded an app called Phone INFO and it tells me it's Vietnam. Could this be because of the rom already on there? It does also say it's a Note 7, so I'm assuming it's incorrect.
TWRP manager
DO NOT USE just boot to recovery via the vol up home and power buttons as normal .
Copy Phronesis to ext sd card and flash as per instructions .
You have N9005 Pick your area /network where you are .
Phone Info can only go by what's on your phone and you flashed DarkLord's Note 7 firmware .
Booting via manager was a last resort. I was trying the usual way and it also resulting in the same thing.
Boot to download/ Odin mode flash stock rom .
Thanks JJEgan, I figured out how to use Odin3 and Odin mode, then install Phronesis. All is good now

Core prime 530t1 accident oem uncheck brick

Hey xda, was happily rooted on my samsung 530t1 until i messed around
with dev options " oem unlock" i unchecked it and forgot to recheck
before rebooting the device a day later.
it booted into "custom binary blocked by FRP. secure fail: kernel"
i can not boot into recovery. (twrp)
i can get into download mode.
not that it helps because pc and odin will not recognize it correctly.
" ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G530T1
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
FRP LOCK: ON
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0X1 (4)
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, H1, R1, A2, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE"
PC IS RECOGNIZING phone as a modem
Ah, the old [CUSTOM BINARY BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK], eh?
I've solved this many a time, and it's relatively straightforward with access to Odin.
But, may I ask, what do you mean that the PC and Odin don't recognise the device?
What OS do you run?
If the computer detects it as a modem, try uninstalling the device in Device Manager and remove the device, then install the Samsung USB Drivers for Mobile Phone package.
If you don't already have these, you should really get them before you even sniff at Odin (some computers may not need these, but they may help. Mine didn't need them), but here they are anyway:
http://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
I shall post instructions for how to unbrick a device using Odin if you like (if you can get Odin to work)
Best of luck for this issue, but don't panic!
EDIT: I'm confused why unchecking 'Enable OEM Unlock' would cause a FRP lock.
On my device, it doesn't do anything at all. It's signing out of Google that disables the FRP lock for me.
Although, mine's an SM-G361F.
I wish I had the SM-G360H...
But you have the SM-530T1
hey, I'm having the same exact problem as this guy with the SM-G360T, yet I have access to ODIN, and I can get into Odin/download mode. I can't seem to boot into recovery just as this guy cannot, and I have basically the same problems as this guy except with ODIN. How did you attempt to fix this when it happened to you?

How to disable Qualcomm Secureboot on Galaxy S7 Unlocked

From what I've been able to google, this means my bootloader is still locked. If I try to flash with Odin, I get this:.
ODIN MODE (HIGH SPEED)
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G930U
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Officail
FRP LOCK: OFF
WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
RP SWREV: B4(2, 1, 1, 1, 1) K1 S3
SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE
I know Odin detects the phone, it doesn't seem to be an issue with computer -> phone connection.
turned on OEM Unlock and USB debugging, fired up Odin and my phone is telling me the following when I boot it into recovery:
SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery
And in Odin, the log looks happy as a clam, then tells me
FAIL! (Auth)
I'm really not sure why this is happening shows OEM Unlock as being enabled. I know Odin detects the phone, it doesn't seem to be an issue with computer -> phone connection.
loop on recovery booting and the phone does not accept any official U or V FW
the error is" unsupport dev_type"
please help me
I think you tried to flash custom recovery? Flash stock rom downloaded from updato, heres the link https://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=839E6F7BC66911E89F15FA163EE8F90B
I also noticed you have a 930, this is edge (935) forum
Additionally, you have 930U, Snapdragon device with locked and not unlockable bootloader. If you are attempting to unlock your bootloader by switching OEM Unlock you won't be able to do it since at 21 december 2018 locked Snapdragon S7 bootloader is not unlockable by any known way
I have an sm-935v which has not taken updates since way before dec 2018, it is at baseband 4 (the 5th digit from rt to lft). Does that mean my bootloader is possibly NOT locked? How would u go about checking if it is in fact unlocked? I have already rooted my s7edge using kingoroot. The android version is 8.0.
i have s7 edge g935u qualcom (oreo version) iwant to install twrp but i did not find qualcombased file is anyone help me....?
