Hey, i´ve just bricked my motorola pro -> same as droid pro. Please can someone upload the update zip from an german pro? I only get in the original recovery mode. There i only can wipe data and factory reset and update.zip from sd card. so i can´t flash per rsd lite or some stuff. this sucks. or have anybody an idea?
my pro stuck on the boot M logo.

I don't know if this is the same thing, but when I effed up my pro, I had to use some tool and install the old sbf files or something. It fixed it right up. I'll try to find the tools and such

On second thought, looks like you would need an sbf from Europe which isn't available, but after reading this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321557 , could you install a clockworkmod bootstrap from a zip, and then use clockwork recovery to flash a custom German ROM? Good luck.

1. which version of your m9+ ?
2. Since you can enter into recovery mode, try to reflash the ROM.zip if you have copied it in you internal storage before.
3. If you don't have any custom ROM or RUU in your storage, download and copy it to external SD card and flash it from external one.

i did it and its work like a charm
Here go simple way
First Step
Your Device Must Enter Fastboot Mode
Second Step
Check ON ur device bootloader Lock or Unlock
if lock bootloader then unlock using Mi unlock tool
Third Step
ur device enter twrp recovery k..if u dont enter twrp recovery dont worry
flash twrp recovery using flasher tool kit
twrp 3.0.2.2
zcx twrp recovery
Fourth Step
Then Flash miui recovery rom
thats it
iDONT KNOW unofficial lock bootloaders mine official lockbootloader

For unofficial bootloader unlocked user use safe twrp for flashing miui rom

No, only wipe cache, dalvik cache and data then flash miui rom if u backuped your rom then restore

Im on Xenon HD atm 7.1 , im official unlocked and with zcx twrp, can I just flash in twrp MiuiPro or MIUI Eu after full wipe except microsd? Will BL get locked……?

Don't do it....because i think from xenon ur bootloader is locked, read op from xenon is this build from cm too or not, if this from cm 14 you should flash miui rom (dev) again from miflash then unlock bootloader.....

Hi, I have nougat with magisk December update, and I'm trying since 2 days to update it to the latest version (can't install the 60 MB update, probably cause magisk) so I'm looking for a clean boot.img in order to flash it in recovery (my magisk boot.img backup is screwed)

Well, not exactly. You can browse through the zip. It should be there inside some folder. Send me a link to it, I too need it!
But yes you have to download the whole update to get the boot.img
Ok, extracted the boot.img, flashed using twrp image flash (selected boot) and bootloop. Gotta lose some data now...
Use MiFlash tool to flash the update!
You'll not lose your data!

Use MiFlash! Check out the tutorial for it, it's not that hard. Plus, you get to keep your data!

Not if you use the MiFlash tool. It's for windows. Download it, install it to your windows machine. Search for its guide, its not that hard to follow!
Thanks a lot guys, I flashed system with mi flash and I did not lost data, I'm also finally installing the update. One last question: Now that system is reflashed, does that mean that it is completely stock? I mean, are boot.img from slots a and b totally stock?

Hi, I bricked my phone.
I upgraded it to OREO and everything was going fine. I got to fastboot mode and flashed a system.img from a treble rom, then wiped data and got into a bootloop.
I tried flashing the old system.img and it didn't work. I wiped everything and flashed a few imgs from the oreo firmware to see if that would fix it (vbmeta, system, cust..) but didn't help, my phone is bricked and can't restore it.
It has OREO partition style and I can boot to TWRP (Huawei P Smart OREO Recovery) and fastboot.
If someone is using OREO and can make a backup with the Huawei P Smart OREO recovery or a flashable OREO zip maybe that will help to unbrick my phone, I'm paying to the first one who unbricks it.
So you can boot into fastboot and TWRP ? If yes use the HwOTA method to update the phone again to Oreo but replace the TWRP inside it with the Huawei P Smart TWRP and rename it to required name. This will work 100 % I think because it fixes and replaces all the firmware

No, Im sure 99% that dload method with service rom for Emui 5 will not be successful. If flashing system.img will not gave effects then only to wait HWOTA8 method for rollback to Emui 5 ot to upgrade again to b321 but for that method we need recovery nocheck but for Emui 8. For now we don't have it.....
here's something to try, I think I had issues before with aosp because of an encrypted data partition... even after wiping it it was not booting. so I went back to stock and then tried aosp again when I was home... I think what you have to do is flash system and wipe data, then install Magisk before rebooting!
I have huawei oreo rom right now with unencrypted Data! I can view files on it in the chinese recovery

It won't, recovery partitions are different and so the recoveries are. I don't have the oreo recoveries with no-check, like hwota has

I want to say that my phone is unbricked, big thanks to @geeklynx who gave me a TWRP backup and helped me as much as he could.
The TWRP backup didn't work, but after restoring it, wiping data and then flashing Resurrection Remix treble ROM my phone booted.
I bought him a Nova Launcher Primer but he didn't want anything about his help, which was very kind coming from him.

weird... even then the other recovery mode (eRecovery) also had a wipe option after a few bootloops... so I never needed to reflash the stock recovery lol

I can confirm that the dload method works.
I was in C605 (Latin America) and i made a rebranding process to convert it into c432 (Europe) just to flash oreo.
Well, that process let me without the lte network access in my region.
So i wanted to rollback to nougat, and use a update.app file from my region and fortunetly works
I dont know if will work for everyone, but its really a good way of restoring the system

CAN DO NOTHING ! But the strange thing is that CAN NOT TO BRICK ! if bricks , going in recovery it reboot the system with lose NOTHING .... Please help me , i want this P10 Lite original like before....

Man.... Its so confused.... You have emui 8 and want to rollback, right? And you can not do anything with Hwota8? If you said that its very strange.... Did you see my video tutorial for rollback? What wipe you mentioned? Its no needed any wipe in Twrp..... no any action in twrp..... Just follow script in Hwota8 and my video instruction. It is so clearly described that no need any additional clarification .....

hi Alex . how you know , i am trying from 15 days . No hwota works , no your tutorials works . Nothing works . And no Wipes i can do . Not whit twrp and not with stock recovery . NOTHING WORKS . can not see files in phone memory via TWRP , are crypted ??? i am desperated....

if i want to do a complete data wipe , donìt works ! i have tryed via "dload " , NOTHING . HWOTA7 , HWOTA8 , via SD card , via script mode : NOTHING !!! installation failed

U selected wrong version for update_all_hw.zip. Thats the reason why you got 046....Please read descripyion in my video instruction before you do anything.

The problem , dear bro Alex is only one . I don t know what C was before . I vé installed C432 when I had unlock and installed Oreo without know what was before . But not only me had this problem (8.0.0.046) . Maybe what's corrupted files of rom

Im pretty sure that you had C432, just u choosed wrong Data file. Repeat procedure with L01A and tell me result.
