Hi all
I am based in the UK and i,m thinking of buying the P2, because i loved the P1.
loved the build quality and its problem free.
i wish they kept all the button though.
i would like to update it to nougat as soon as i get it delivered, i,m looking for the latest and most stable release but i,m unsure.
can someone please direct me on what ROM i can use and also supports the UK.

I think, the Nougat update is not stable. Am using P2 with Marshmallow ROM, but my friend upgraded his P2 to Nougat recently but the performance of his device came down and he is facing serious battery draining issue, overheating problems etc.
But my P2 with Marshmallow ROM working perfect and not facing any bugs/problems.

i have the AGM mobile x1 and i,m not impressed with it tbh.
i miss the physical buttons and it would be great to have phone with large battery and latest OS and well built hence why i,m going to P2, shame about the nougat issues.

which rom are you using and i will clean install mines if there is a good and stable nougat rom.
I have two Lenovo p2 one is running stock with bootloader locked, works fine. (Mom uses it)
Another is owned by me which is running aex4.5
According to my usage i get about 12-13 hrs of sot

The best rom on here after rooting is Nougat deodexed it is fast and has good battery life all the custom roms have bugs regardless of official status or not.
I reached out to Three UK regarding future development for the P2a42 on twitter and they assured me that they are still supporting software updates for the device and there is an update in the pipeline from Lenovo albeit they couldn't confirm whether it was Nougat or Oreo.

That's a great score but after using moto e2 and g2, I've stopped believing in benchmarks. Also the fact that ui is so laggy proves this point. I agree though that it's still in beta stage. Let's see what plans huawei has for us honor 6 users. Hopefully they will push lollipop update before android m is released or it will be same story all over again!:fingers-crossed:

Just installed this new OTA update on my ZE551ML (Z00AD), no problem found so far.
The ASUS site doesn't mention it yet, so no clues as to its changes
It's to fix the storage bug.

Further to that, regular security updates are really nice to have.
Most vendors of phones in this price range simply forget their devices after releasing them, ASUS is still working on its phones. Slowly perhaps, but still..

I've never had a storage issue. I don't understand why they have never worked on the battery issue. Ready to sell this damn phone is anyone is looking for another. $225 firm and it's the 128GB / 4GB version lol
Unless you've skipped the .168 update you should have/had internal space decreasing without a reasonable explanation.
My 32GB apparently freed up 1.5-2GB of internal storage after installing the .174 update, FWIW.
About battery life, Android M should help somehow..

Because all the fixes and features have been back ported. No need to a version to do that.

Yepp, in germany also reached my Moto e 2015.
I was very surprised and could'd trust my eyes, there was an update for my device.
The first real upgrade after one year.
But this phone is now only my second device.
I've bougt an Huawei P8 Lite, just one month ago, runs also with MM stockfirmware.
im from russia. the phone is from finland, xt1524. Before i flashed 5.1.1 reteu. Today downloaded enrique's 6.0 retes, flashed it. at first wouldnt boot, after couple of reboots it worked. THANKS!

Yes. After one day no problems at all. A lot smoother now. Maybe RAM usage is increased a little in 6.0. Also looks like battery is draining a little more, but I should use it more to state this for sure.

I don't have the device yet, so I dunno [emoji28] . There are some "working" LED apps in Google Play Store. I request you to use them until I figure out the bugs.

I can't promise you to make this ROM official because the ROM still has some bugs but is stable enough for daily usage and needs to be fixed ASAP for pushing it to official and it requires some paperwork for AOKP to support P2.
