[HELP] random reboot and lost of connection (wifi and data) - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

I'm facing a problem with my new OnePlus5. The phone randomly reboots and sometimes the connection resets itself without no reason. Someone can help me? I've already reset the phone and installed the last zip of OxygenOS downloaded from the official site.

Are you on root?

Not yet. Why?

Cyanogenmod 10.1 Rebooting Issue

Hi, I bought my GS4 two days ago and immediately rooted it via the motochopper method, and then installed ClockworkMod via the loki method. I then installed the then latest nightly (cm-10.1-20130530-NIGHTLY).
Now I understand that nightlies come with no promises of work, but I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing a rebooting problem on their device. Mine reboots randomly, and often. Multiple times a day. On two occasions it has gotten itself into a reboot loop (starts rebooting, gets to the lock screen, and immediately starts rebooting), in which i needed to pull the battery. Still having the same issue on the May 31st build.
I'm just hoping that someone else has this issue, other then just me. Any ideas to fix it would be amazing!
Use a touchwiz rom, problem solved.
CM is nice for sure but, it seems to always be broken.
Fixed!!
After dealing with the issue for a few more days, it continued to get worse. I could no longer uninstall apps (every time I did it would reboot), and it became more frequent, even with updating to the most recent nightly every day.
I finally got fed up with it today. I did a complete wipe of data, cache, and dalvik cache, and reinstalled the latest nightly (cm-10.1-20130530-NIGHTLY). After installing gapps i turned it on and am no longer experiencing any issues!!! Even after i reinstalled all of my apps and restored the data using titanium. Hopefully it has fixed it completely, only time will tell over the next few days.

[Q] Wi-Fi Connection forces Reboot

Rooted Vz S5 and about a week ago, updated Kernel via Odin (OTA updates were frozen). Worked fine, seemed to have no issues. Last night, however, any connection to Wi-Fi network forces a soft reboot. Leaving Wi-Fi on but unconnected does not cause the problem, but anytime it connects to router, every 30 seconds or so, it rolls into a soft reboot. So, for now, stuck sucking data. Any ideas on what may be the problem? I noticed also some odd looking artifacts on screen when the phone goes past the splash screen to lock screen. Bit of an android noob, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Not sure if this was just a coincidence, but I had also received a notice from Google "advising" me to uninstall towel root.
Cheers

Did you update the rest of the system, or just the kernel? System version must match kernel version.
Thanks for the reply. I update the system as well. However, I did not do a complete wipe at the time. So, I went back, wiped, and flashed over again to the updated system and kernel, re-installed towelroot, flashed the old kernel, and then back to updated kernel again. Pain in the rear, (as all the apps and data had to be restored), but it looks like everything is working as it should now. Kind of an odd bug as nothing else appeared to be causing problems other than connecting to Wi-Fi.

Phone connected but no internet

Hi everyone,
i am having a SM-G900F (it is t-mobile). It is on stock lollipop LRX21T.G900FXXU1BNL9 with modem and bootloader BOB7 (which i flashed a week ago).
I have problems since the last 2-3 days, my phone is connected to a working WiFi or mobile data and everything seems alright, but it isn't, i don't have any internet access. I have to turn of WiFi or mobile data and turn it on and eventually it starts working again :S
Does anyone has an idea what the problem may cause and how should i fix it? Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also if i take out the battery of my phone and turn it on afterwards, it turns off but with a black screen, and i get a "System fc", and i have to try to turn it on a few times to get it work like it should, but if i turn off the phone without taking out the battery it turns on just fine everytime
First thing Id try is clearing CACHE from Recovery
Did you factory reset after updating to Lollipop from KK? It is needed to get rid of left over bugs / files from KK

When i bought the phone (used) it already had lollipop on it. I tried clearing cache+dalvik cache but still the same, but didn't tried a factory reset, right now i am downloading a custom rom, will wipe everything and see what happens after that.
Some strange thing that i noticed is, that the internet now won't work for any app escept for viber, on viber it works without problems
Right now i have flashed another ROM with wipe-ing everything before and i have still problems with the internet :S
i don't know what do to now :/
EDIT: Data is working, but wifi connects but no internet :/
EDIT2: I've found out what the problem is, it wasn't my phone, it was some weird virus which changed my routers DNS settings

Phone is restarting again and again.

I have tried to encrypt the phone. Was running on Neuclear ROM. As soon as I started the process the phone starts to reboot again and again for infinity times.
I can go to recovery.
My phone is getting connected to PC also.
I've fully wiped the phone via TWRP then reflashed the phone but still the same. Phone is restarting continuously. Someone please help me ASAP.
How long do you own the phone, and have you ever had a bootloop issue before?
If the age is beyond 1 year and had a bootloop before. It might be a bad board. I had the same problem..

Wipe internal storage too or else flash stock image using qfil.
Try wiping storage too?
Tried many times by full wiping the phone via TWRP but the phone was in same condition. Then reflashed via qfil and it is alive again.

PLEASE HELP: OnePlusPro 8 Bootloop issue

Hello XDA community,
I would never post on here unless it was a last resort. I tried everything with this phone to have it rooted. I rooted successfully in Android 10, 11 all of them worked, but all of them failed over the same issue after a few days which ill describe below. On TWRP + Stock Root Rom, the logs read something about "android telephony". This time around the logs (Adb logcat) is huge and I can't find what causes the bootloop. I am sure it could be fixed somehow.
I Installed Lineage OS 18.1 successfully. In all root roms (phone is dual sim) and even in normal rom, after 2-3 weeks the phone will crash and enter into bootloop. On LIneage OS 18.1 it started after 2-3 days.
Strangely this seems to be related to using express VPN (not sure why). Pressing reconnect on this software causes always the first bootloop. From there on phone repeats the bootloop every time it's rebooted, non stop. It restarts itself and bootloops again.
I have tried installing every rom there is available including root official rom. Nothing fixed this problem.
I am to where i will definitely provide financial compensation if anyone can really help me find out what this is and stop it. I cannot send the phone to OnePlus as they will not provide help over these matters.
I Need liberty of root user without all the harassment of the bootloop.
Now the phone is at LineageOS recovery and lineageOS 18.1 build. It WORKS in safemode, but it bootloops only in normal mode. There is nothing I know to do to stop it.
So I have access to every other function except the normal use of the phone.
Please advise.
It's one of the apps running in normal mode. Seek and destroy... obviously it runs at start up, that should help narrow it down.
Thanks for the help, but I have attempted this to no avail. I have removed all user apps but still the issue persists.
This has also happened on every rom I installed, after about a few days or weeks.
Could it be some remote command is used to terminate the handset? How can I diagnose what is happening?
What if you reflash without Google apps?

I have tried, it was without Google Apps to begin with.
I am going to repeat same process and see if the next one bootloops too.
The strange bug occur when VPN connection was activated/deactivated. AFwall was also enabled, running as admin. Then this persist even when I uninstall all apps through safemode ADB.
