Can we make a way to auto-install TWRP for our device ?? (D290n, D295)

Is there a way to do that ? I don't wanna hard brick my phone again because I missed a symbol in the "dd" command ...

I made a "TWRP Material" (with Material Theme) to install directly from Flashify, unpatched the aboot.img... but, I need a tester.

it worked. but when i pressed the reboot button after a succesfull system backup it just freezed. forever so u can look on that otherwise good app

What do u mean forever freezed? Did you hard brick it?

I suppose it's the version of the device, I tried it on a D295 and works the reboot. I will compile the recovery to D290n and I will send you.

not working! after flashing when i reboot it stucks on a purple screen containing some texts. it says something about watchdog.

Unauthorised actions have been detected

Since switching back to stock lollipop firmware from a custom rom, I'm continuously seeing this message "Unauthorised actions have been detected" in my notification bar. When I open it, it takes me to smart manager where I've got an option of reboot. After rebooting it takes me to TWRP, nothing else happens after TWRP opens.
Any fix for that?

TWRP may be the cause of this. Or root, if present.

But if I delete this system app, would I lose another function too? I mean does this app lead to another system function like SystemUI and other system apps do?

Hmm yes I'm thinking to go for android 4.3 now rather then 5.0.1.

Depending on the model of you phone, I'm not sure if you can downgrade to 4.3 from 5.01. If you can't, Odin should not flash the ROM.

And it solved my problem

Another way I observe:
Is to delete every entries Knox-related from init.rc on the ramdisk. But it only reported to work on i9500, since I'm doing the same on SM-J200G some of them still report this one.

Can't Log in at Snapchat after I installed a custom rom.

Hey guys,
Does somebody have a solution for the fact i can't login at snapchat after i installed a custom rom.
The only way that I can solve this, is to go back to stock. install snapchat. Log in and then flash the custom recovery with custom rom.
Is there an easier way to do this?

That's normally a root issue. What custom ROM did you install? Some Roms have a setting in developers options to enable and disable root. Check if you have those settings, disable root then login to snap chat. Once you're logged in you should be able to re-enable root and continue as normal. Hope this helps

I've installed Digitalhigh 6P ROM with elite kernel. I dont have that option...

Okay go into settings in super su and uncheck enable superuser, log into snapchat then recheck the box again in super su, you will be good to go.

encryption

Can I still encrtypt my rooted device. I'm on lineage micro g and I want my trust setting green as I have all ready set enforcing on.

Quite easy if you have magisk installed make sure you check preserve force encryption then go to setting and security and location and hit the encryption menu but make sure you charge the device to 100%

what about SELinux?? I tried to set it to enforcing by command using terminal but couldn't get it to work

Use MTweaks just after every reboot you have to set it to enforcing again but it works and trust will be all green.

Question Dolby Atmos on Phone(1)

Does anyone got a chance to install dolby atmos (rooted) on your nothing? I am afraid to brick my phone again

1/ Install Magisk Bootloop Protector
This module can prevent a bootloop/can't boot system if a unstable/conflict/incompatible module.
2/ Reboot
3/ Install AudioWizard-DTSXUltra-AsusZen6-MagiskModule v5.5-Stable
On my Mi 11 it's the only working Audio Module working perfectly and exactly same feeling quality than Dolby Atmos.
I will test as soon i will receive my Nothing 1 in a few days

i can confirm it works on the nothing phone.
edit: cant hear any difference.

You need to click on Download to right of the page and then go to the bottom of the download menu and select the latest version

Thanks, I found out, the get into not compliting the det up, do have to flash a stock boot img.
I then have to uninstall the Audio W after thst flash pstched boot img.

I can`t get any of this to apk working. Dolby goes hanging and AudioW start reboots (Bootloop protecter installed)

Working perfectly for me. Dolby Atmos module or DTSX module.
And DSP working, not placebo, you can easily hear the difference, especially on the Dolby Atmos module.

I reinstalled DA, once more the same result, random reboots every 15 sec.
From where did you dawnload your DA?

The insatllation was ok, the apk starts up but I was not able to test. The problem was that screen brightness was vey low and could not change. Uninstall module and all was normal.
