Hi there,
anybody knows where i get a original t-mobile (de) rom for this device...i cant find one with forum search or google search.
I need it because i think my device has some defect -> it reboots unexpected.
I flashed 2.3.3 (stock rom) to see if the problems are gone -> they are not gone
So i want to give it to the service but i think its better when i have the original firmware on it...

I have this LG GT540(rooted to 2.3.7 cynogenmod 7 ROM by mur4ik) and have been used for more than a year and a months. I bought this unit here in the PHILIPPINES. My question is, can I use this phone in CANADA without undergoing with what they called an "OPEN-LINE" hardware solutions there, so that I could use any network there(SIM CARD) and would fit with the network systems in CANADA?
btw, I have a 2.3.7 cynogenmod 7 ROM and its good! thou it has a few lags and frequent restarts, whats the most stable and great Custom ROM for this unit for today?

Should be able to, go do some research on that network and this phones radios. I dont think canada has such strict lock down of phones compared to the USA. I think the most important thing is to make sure the phone is unlocked (make sure its not carrier locked im sure its not) if its not locked then its good to go the SDSL and Tejas rebuild of Pcfighter .32 kernel rom is also good! Well they are all better then the one you are using and im sure of that.

Well, I bought this unit in a store branch here at the mall and I'm sure its not locked with the specific carrier or networks here and abroad. They say its Quadband, great thing!
I'm worried cause its in the NEW ROM,which is the 2.3.7 cynogenmod 7, NOT in the Original state of ROM in LG Platform, that would hinder or loose of a Quadband factor in this unit.. hope'll its not

A sure way to download Google Maps is to use "Apk Downloader" and download Google Maps apk on your PC then install it on your phone (with root explorer or other file manager). Apk downloader and instructions are available at http://codekiem.com/2012/02/24/apk-downloader/

hi guys, i have a very strange problem with web play store since i installed the rom batman, if i try to install an app from the browser play store tell me it will be installed shortly, but nothing is installed, i also asked for help in batman section but i he simply liquidated by saying to edit the build.prop file but this did not help me, so I ask him here, do you have some kind of advice? changing the rom the problem does not exist anymore, so i guess it's just a rom issue but i do not know how to fix it, they do not tell it but it seems as long as it does not become a pro user (paying) do not get seriously helped.
What international ROM do I use for Z17 Mini S? I tried the Z17S NX595J_Z69_EN_VNG0N_V105 (and V106) ones and they don't work, also tried the Z17 Mini one and it doesn't work as well, is there an individual one for Z17 Mini S that I cannot find? Don't really know what to do now, perhaps I need to install one of the mentioned ones differently (I used the recovery -> update package on my phone method and it doesn't show anything, the other method that you go to settings -> local update and choosing the file gives me an error at about 40% into the update, I figured that may be happening because of the wrong ROM that's not meant for the z17 mini S).

Hi fkllxn, I've just bought z17 miniS too.
Now, my rom is v2.16 NX589J. I'm searching for international rom for that phone but cant find it.
I saw that rom was built after v2.16 released few days: www anzhuorom com/device/nubiaz17minis/7525.html#down
It modified something in original rom. So you can try this .
I'm new mem, so change space to dot, pls

I bought Z17 mini S several months ago from China, but the ROM version I was given was NX589J_ENcommon_V1.01. I have no idea where to get it, Google gives 3 results only for that query.
All works fine except for notfications - email, communicators etc. - hardly ever I'm notified about new messages until I run the app manually.
On China Nubia site there are some ROMs to download but all are Chinese, so according to opinions from forum China ver - OTA but no GApps, global ver - GApps but no OTA.

I found today an NX589J-ENCommonV1.01. Hope that works, didn't tested myself yet.

How to:
1. transfer to the phone.
2. go to Settings -> System upgrade -> Local update.
3. Choose from Local -> point the file -> install now.
4. the phone should reboot twice.

I see version 2.17 update for NX589J today in official website )) anyone try this.
Now, my phone installed cook rom from SY: NX589J_V2.16_2018.01.09: https://www.up-4ever.com/01t4o8eh5unb
I think that rom is ok but have chinese language, especially in setting ( T-setting, they added them to setting with some tweaks)
I will try that EN rom soon ^^

Some feedback would be great. I just installed v.2.16 in Chinese and it works ok (but it still has the problem with Google Play Store).
I'd like to know if the only English ROM we have seen so far deserves a try

When I push the "device update" in the phone settings nothingh occurr. Nothing, nothing. Have I to confirm any previous point to can use the updation?
