Anyone get Helium to work on the G6? - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Looks like clockworkmod is down. I've tried the chrome version and it can't find my G6. I've installed the LG drivers and ADB drivers and still no go. Anyone have the desktop installer I can try?

Worked perfectly for me yesterday. The only issue is that I had to start adb manually

cannot restore to stock, constant FCs, need help

hello. i used LCD density monitor to try to fix the market after switching the DPI settings, and my device is unusable. as sooon as i boot, everything force closes, nothing runs. ADB cannot connect to the device. it says theres no device connected.
i used toolkit to reflash stock rom, but i cant reset to factrory, so it keeps booting into this terrible set up with nothing working. stock recovery is just the android with the open chest and eclamation.
going through the toolkit, i cannot get the ADB drivers to install and correctly see my tablet.
can anyone offer some help?
much appreciated!
Not sure if this will work for you but when ADB couldn't see my N7, it was because it was in MTP mode.
Settings > Storage > Menu (top right) > USB computer connection > select Camera (PTP)
If that works, you can push all the stock images and recovery via fastboot.
managed to finally get adb to work, flashed stock, and starting over wiuth a restore, but theres no MTP drivers installed. anyone have any idea how to install them or where to get them?

to get ADB to work, i went through the manual driver install several times before i got it to work. i had the USB plugged into a usb 3.0 port, and for some reason, ADB does not recognize through 3.0 ports. plugged into a 2.0 port and had no problem getting ADB to finally recognize it.
I flashed stock, but rebooted to the same problem. i managed to get into the menu and factory reset. after factory resetting, it was fine.
no more LCD density until they fix that.
Make sure you have android SDK installed.

The easiest way to change your DPI is to either download ROM Toolbox or edit it yourself. ROM Toolbox is good for whole slew of things, not just DPI modding. I would recommend it for anyone with a rooted Android Device.
And thanks for telling us that information, nice to know that ADB doesn't support USB 3.0. :/

Drivers for Unlockk and Root

I've gotten a new nexus 7 in the mail today and the first thing that I tried to do was unlock the bootloader and root the device to flash custom kernel and ROM. but i ran into a problem in the first step. Im having no luck with the drivers at all. i have searched and tried everything. I have tried this 1.5.2 toolkit and watched the video. In the section that i have to go to device manager and manually install the drivers, i didnt get anything. i downloaded the driver from asus themselves and it worked (pictured below) but when i try to use adb commands, nothing happens. I also installed the 64 bit drivers and it gives me the same thing as the picture and when i run the toolkit, it doesnt find adb. Can anyone help out please? and yes, i have enabled usb debugging, just in case you wonder.
What OS are you using?
When you plug the Nexus in the USB port does anything happen?
Have you rebooted the workstation?
4.1.1 jellybean. I've rebooted several times. When I plug it into the computer, my computer makes the regular "New device" sound and then it searches for the nexus driver but cannot find it. The tablet shows debugging connected.

You have a workstation with JellyBean on it? I'm guessing it is a Win box perhaps right? Have you rebooted it?
I just unlocked and rooted today. I downloaded and installed the drivers from the PDAnet website. Everything worked fine. Hope this Info helps you get you unlocked and rooted

You went to pda net website and downloaded a .exe file and ran it right? I guess I'll have to do it from another computer maybe. I just don't have one though. I'll keep trying

Yeah, just download the driver package you need for your laptop and install them. The .exe is more like a setup/installation wizard for the drivers.

Didn't have 802 radio on device to flash back

google usb drivers wouldn't install
@lingarajug saved my sanity and taught me something
I love how much I can learn on xda-dev...
Hahahahahhahahaha they say curiosity killed the cat, I was in the worst situation like you were but I tried copying new Rom and gapps to sdcard and flash and went into recovery and curiously cleaned everything in advanced wipe and left with phone with no Rom to boot and no file to flash I did sleep all night and finally my old ideas came through and found pdanet and since then have been spreading this message around, glad that it helped u.

[q] please help! Need step by step to flash stock

I m on verizon lg g2 and im stuck in recovery with my system completely wiped. I cannot get drivers installed to read ADB for the life of me. I've tried them all including the universal drivers. Im not too familiar with the whole adb thing and or working with a computer so if someone could step by step me a procedure on how to either flash back to sock or get a rom on my phone that can be flashed, anything to get it working, I am rooted.
PLEASE HELP ME!
driver installation failing
Bump for help
I have a similar issue with my sprint LG-LS980 [STOCK] Rooted I've tried multiple LG drivers but my computer (windows 7) tells me that the driver installation has failed every time I plug in my phone. I am still able to transfer files with wireless storage.
I need either getting the drivers to work or flashing back to stock rom without using a usb transfer cable
what I did
Hey I had a similar problem, could only get on cwm, couldn't get adb to work after the ota.
I did what this person suggested and installed pdanet drivers on my computer and it worked great!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563527
I then went to cwm to sideload, I sideloaded twrp then did what this guy said:

good luck!
Still no luck connecting my lg with the pdanet drivers

Going stock without ADB

Hello guys,
I am going to sell my LG G2 and I need to make it full stock again (D802 international).
The catch is, I have no ADB since I'm on Cloudy G3 and ADB only works with USB thetering ON, which doesn't work with the phone off.
My question to you is:
What's the best way to return to stock without ADB?
Flash an AOSP/AOKP ROM and go from there?
Is there a stock flashable zip that I can use through recovery?
Any answer would be appreciated.
No one?
Just tried Paranoid Android and ADB still doesn't work.
The problem might lie on my drivers althought they worked just fine on stock or something else?

What do you mean adb doesn't work? Have you installed it? There's an awesome tool out there called "15 second adb" I would say forget the sdk and install adb that way. Its way easier.

ADB doesn't see my device so it doesn't work.
It's set properly since I've used it on my Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and now LG G2 but ever since I went to Cloudy G3, it only works when I enable Internet connection thetering with USB.
Also tried Paranoid Android Rom to see if it was a Rom problem but apparently might be a driver issue.
