Hello xda members! I've got a new ROM for you and this time its a lite ICS based on official by Huawei but A LOT smoother and faster!
Android Version 4.0.4
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!
Changelog:
Added graphics tweaks.
As smooth as this ROM can be.
Faster Wifi.
Removed unused apps.
New bootanimation.
Better Signal.
Better Battery.
Better camera/photo/audio quality.
Other performance tweaks.
Installation:
You have to be on OFFICIAL ICS for this to work!
Wipe cache.
Format/ factory reset.
Wipe cache.
Format system.
Install ROM.
Fix Permissions.
IN ORDER TO GET YOUR ROM TO WORK PROPERLY YOU MUST DOWNLOAD : http://www.mediafire.com/?uci2qcrie6lnian
They are some extra files that i removed from system/app in order to make the ROM smaller and upload it on mediafire. Just download them and either move them to system/app before installation or push the to system/app after installation and set permission using Root Explorer.
This rar file contains 2 folders:
1)Extras. These are files you may want to add to your ROM but they are NOT needed.
2)Needed. These are files that are NEEDED in order your ROM to work properly.

I already said that 4.2 WILL NOT get released,at least for now so no word about that.

I tried to install the rom and now the phone doesn't work anymore, I can't get into recovery, the image folder exists but does not go into recovery, you can know what happened? is this a joke?

Did you follow my instructions?

Followed the instructions and installed the rom, and now my phone stays at the Huawei logo for few seconds and reboots and I can't boot it to the recovery to install other roms...
E: I installed step 2 from b928 update and it's alive again

How are the results for you? Is it smooth enough? Could you provide some screenshots for the 1st post please?

Does it mean that the phone still be able to boot after flashing the rom(without needed files) from cwm but I have to move the needed files to system/app then to make it work properly?

Tip: you're away from any rom of sigg. SvTeam, this is the second time the flashing their creature, but I'm sure it will be the last........

Yes i just removed some big files because of the 200mb limit on mediafire.

Rom doesn't work. Done everything written

Nope. We dont have a coder right now so all modifications were done by me to have a stable ICS. I took the zip that bronxitas made and added tweaks and removed files to make it faster and smoother. So i thought it would work because that zip was working fine.

[4.0.4 Rom] CyanogenMod 9 [Built From Source] - Alpha Stage - Flash with Caution

Hello! This is a CM9 I built from source some days ago using CM9 device & vendor tree made by Ivan/qiwu (big thanks to him for this)
This ROM is in really early stage.
IT CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE !!! FLASH CAREFULLY !!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
What works:
I think everything works apart from camera !
I have tested this rom on my phone before uploading. When I rebooted in recovery through the reboot menu of the ROM my device was hard-bricked. That means I sent it to service in order to repair it!
In this rom I intergrated a fix for camera and also for recovery I think.
Still you are NOT encouraged to reboot into recovery from within the ROM unless you want to test how lucky you are.
You can flash this rom and tell me what other things may not work correctly and also try to make your own fixes for the problems mentioned above.
Flash via CWM 5.0.2.7
1) Wipe data/factory reset
2) Advanced-> Wipe Dalvik Cache
3) Instal from .zip in sdcard
Notes:
1)Installation will get a lot of time. No other rom took me so much ever. Just wait patiently and it will eventually end
2)If you have no baseband/imei=null try using the amss.mbn from gingerbread pinkscreen image folder -> aka the gingerbread baseband file

of course not. ivan also made device & vendor tree for cm9 for u8800pro
it isn't available at his github anymore , but the lewa os team (ioz9 at github) had made a fork
@ svteam : I didn't try any other cameras but I think you 'll get the same errors. Some libraries and maybe some bin files may need to be changed in order for camera to work.
@ rittik : thanks! hope you can fix the non-working camera or/& the recovery issue
be careful with the recovery fix though! it may brick your device.

I cant do anything on U+ now. Got imei 0 cant restore it..i am not sending it back to centre. May be looking at some new phones now. But will try to fix for sure.

You can find some local mobile repair store,they will create imei. Ask some one near by you

I'm not gonna try my luck again with CM9. Whenever I try, my phone hard bricks
The only thing not working though is camera. If you are interested PM. I have some ideas which may result in a fix

I'm only aware of this one and a cm14 but both are far from stable. The most problem on both is data, it ain't working.

I want to use it for few days to experience android 7. Should i go for it or wait for a stable build ? Also , i am on wiko , android 5 stock rom . My device is unrooted and without any twrp , so what to flash and any guide for that ??

I would advice you to wait a more stable build. You can't even make a call with this build. But if you still wanna test it give us more info bout your device. What wiko model.

Yeah you should wait but it's gonna take some time.
For the root and recovery of your phone they are explained in the topic you linked. Just use kingroot to root it and there is a recovery in the topic you linked.

I have try to root this rom wide kingoroot, root genius, unlock root and UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76, but every time i try, the smartphone reboot and stay at boot loop, any sugestion? I have a wiko rainbow 4gb.

There is no root for this rom yet. It is stated in the original thread.

Search for twrp j2lte on google you will get j200g recovery on twrp site and download the tar file and then flash it with odin

Could someone tell me the full guide step by step after flashing twrp its humble req

Its stuck after installation completed successfully. No buttons responding. Should I force shutdown by removing battery or holding power button.
EDIT: Forced shutdown and rom booted normally.

Im working on it give me sometime to try to fix...
And if you can wait just flash an old stock rom the issue will b fixed....because after updating to latest stock rom the camera front camera not working for j2 users

This rom works perfectly on my Samsung J200M (dual sim 4G) a quick and easy way to install Android 6 on a this device, runs better than the original up-to-date Android 5 Samsung firmware.
(I have no issues with Camera/s GPS 4G etc everything working as expected)

Hi, thank you very much for the rom. I am using it on J200G without any issues (including the camera). So it's totally bug free rom for me. In addition, with Apps2SD app and Emperor Tweaks (God Mod) tweaks my device running like it has 1.5 GB ram! Playing games never was smoother before. Many many thanks.

Fisrt time after flash it turns on normally. Mobile working normally. not also the camera issue. But after a single power off it is showing me that (picture included). Even not charging. What shall i do now. Thank u.

Have you unlocked your bootloader if yes then this problem will not occur. But now the frp lock showed up you have to flash the stock ROM again with the help of odin you can download the stock ROM from updato.com for your device this will fix frp lock you can also search how to fix frp Lock on YouTube

I think the fault is , I've turned off OEM unlock under developer settings by mistake. And now while I'm flashing the stock firmware I'm stuck at this (picture included). Please help me. what shall i do now... Thank you for your reply.

Download the lastest stock rom then flash it. This will fix your phone

I want to ask who better knows than me if I can upgrade Android 6.0 which I have on my Redmi 4 Prime to a stable version of Android 11 or 12, the picture is attached of my current firmware and versions, as with the current version am losing some apps which I stopped supporting Android 6.0.

I don't think that's possible. The best you could do is to try and modify the apps or force them to run, but that's very hit and miss.

I've installed,yesterday , HAVOC 4.9 based to Android 11.
In the last 2 years i've used HAVOC 3.12 found here in XDA and based to Android 10
Both of them are great with my Redmi 4 Prime (MARKW)....remember to patch audio with sound fix that find online

Hello; I always see "MARKW" what is that? how an I know if my Redmi 4 prime is "MARKW"?

I have miui port android 10 installed and it is working just fine,even better than stock rom.I prefer it better than lineage os.Android 11 is the last aosp.Android 12 does not exist for redmi 4 prime.No kernel for A12.Markw is nick name for Redmi 4 prime.

Redmi 4 prime is markw.Install twrp treble recovery if you don't have it.Put rom zip on the sd card or internal memory of your phone.Choose advance wipe.Wipe cache,dalvik ,system,data,vendor.yThan choose rom zip and flash it.After it is done just reboot phone and wait few minutes.

To enter recovery you must pres power button + volumeup+volume down in the same time.You have to learn some things .Read first,you have all this on xda and internet.Treble twrp has wipe and flash vendor option.

Hello @marduj5, hope you are fine and doing well, I faced problems with receiving and sending calls with the ROM you attached here like I am not reachable from time to time also I can not make some times a call. so I was searching for a more stable ROM and I found "Havoc 4.9" I flashed it, but I am missing Mi cloud synchronization and the MARKW seems as not recognized as a Xiaomi mobile phone, how can I solve that? which reflects restoring the SMS and the call history and other backups I used to do with my MARKW.
