[ROM][KK 4.4.2][ROM]Mackay OMNI ROM (27-Feb-2014)

About Omni: Omni is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
This is a port of Mackay OMNI ROM of the Samsung Galaxy S made by kasper_h.. I just ported this amazing rom to our Samsung Captivate
If you run into errors, I may not be able to solve it!
If you know a solution to a problem, either upload it yourself to Gerrit Code Review or contact me through pm.
The ROM is based on Omni sources with the following changes:
-mohammad.afaneh's Kernel
-Set of cherries picked from gerrit (differing by the day)
-Some additional patches to the source code
Feature request are OK, but remember:
1. I try to stay close to stock
2. I will not include additional apps, unless they can be build from source
3. The time I spend on features depends on how much I like them myself
Although it is possible to enable ART, this is not advisable:
-Takes long to convert from Dalvik to ART on first boot
-Needs more RAM
-Can cause soft reboots
But off course, YMMV -> light users may have better luck

no halo..
SD card is read on the phone but it does not show up when connected to the PC..

Yes it is a known issue.....

This issue is present in every 4.4 ROM, unfortunately, and is the main reason for me to go back to 4.2 ROM.

I Like the Dolby Atmos and Weather Xperia like system apps.
Sad that don't found CM themes that have support for this rom.

No! Forget CWM, it's really not recommended on MM. Use TWRP.

[MOD] Launch any app with the screen off gestures

Introduction
LaunchAnyApp is a mod to create the option to choose which app launches when you draw one of the screen off gestures.
I made this because I never used the gestures and thought it was more useful if it launched another app. Don't think you can't use the normal action anymore, you can choose the default action.

I'm not going to bypass lockscreen locks

Only one little annoying thing is that it doesn't bypass acdisplay lock screen, but you probably can't do anything about that...awesome mod anyway, thanks for sharing it with us onyx users!

I flashed your mod on Sultan's CM it is not working..can't even find any setting and app in app drawer related to gesture.only one gesture setting is there which is cm stock gesture.

There must have been some problem, it's working for me and others on cm 13 by sultan...

Can you please post some SS of that app or setting so that I can find it.

Like the Toshiba2412 (haha) just said, it replaces the gesture entry from settings, you have to open it, and then you'll have more options to bind V or O gestures, not only camera, torch and so on.

I have no changes in Gesture entry in Settings and even more - gestures doesn't work after installing this mod. I'm on last version of official RR.

U mean you want to show 3000mah battery?
Well..For that..
Go to system/etc/floating feature.xml nd search for the below line...
<SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_SETTINGS_CONFIG_BATTERY_CAPACITY>3200 mAh</SEC_FLOATING_FEATURE_SETTINGS_CONFIG_BATTERY_CAPACITY>
Change the value 3200 to 3000 in the above line.
Save and reboot.
Now it would show 3000mah capacity in settings

I like this rom so far. Battery life is better ,only that no mods and USSD is not working
,Bluetooth fixed but no reboot menu options.

I am talking about miui second space it's like complete new phone when we switch to second space.
There is nothing with duplicate apps dear.
