Opening this thread for discussion and questions for Paranoid-neXus ROM by neXus PRIME upon his suggestion.
As a first query, I would like to ask how can I show battery percentage with the icon? Can't seem to find the option? And are there not any pie specific preferences to make 2 layers etc?

Go in settings, battery and click the first icon on top left that show you the option for battery icon

Pie control doesn't have preference, you can start it with click the "immersive mode" tile
Reset preference: Go in settings, backup & restore, reset preference
Hover doesn't have preference, can start with click the second icon in the notification bar
Peek show the last notification if you move the device when the screen is off, start in Settings, Display, Peek notification
If I've forget something let me know

Actually it had in SlimROM. Anyway, no matter. I didn't know about peek notification - going to check it. How much battery life are you getting?

I'm around 40 hours with medium usage. But I run build #3

Build # 4 is stable and base for future, new recoveries.

I think CM-file manager is good (open source as well). Just this one app. I dont wanna bloat up.

I'm now using build #3 and I've flash the new recovery posted by MrSteve..can I flash directly build #5 when it's ready??

Yes, you can flash #5 directly.

Is there any problem with gaming?? I installed "escape from rio" game and there were no levels are visible.... I had same problem "slimkat LBL' but there was no problem in cm11 nightly (my last rom used) but gaming performance is better on stock kernel based rom like slimkat LBL & paranoid LBL...

NOTE: I am also building with LINARO 4.8 right now. Meaning, even more preformance increase in theory, but you guys will test and report.

Just tested, any mic doesn't work... My patch didn't work very well...
To fix it you must change a line in build.prop:
persist.audio.handset.mic=digital
to
persist.audio.handset.mic=analog
Sorry for inconveinience.
I'll upload a fixed build soon, but until that comes, you will have to change that line in build.prop.

Settings crashes when I try to Open fingerprint manager [CM13 Unofficial]

Hey,
So I just got my Oneplus 2 yesterday after having the Oneplus X be stolen. I immediately rooted and flashed Gapps and an unofficial CM13 rom (This one).
Upon booting the first time, I got to add a fingerprint through the first boot setup wizard. I thought I'd add one now, and add more later.
Well, the fingerprint scanner works awesome with my thumb, but I can't add my index finger because Settings crashes when I try to open the fingerprint manager [Settings -> Lockscreen -> Fingerprint].
It just says "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped." and then just closes and reopens settings.
Anyone know a workaround?

Hi can you retry with the official cm13 release and gapps pico flavour?

Yeah, flash the official ROM. That should fix it. If it doesn't, can you check if you're running a custom theme? I know this sounds weird but I had the same issue so I had to go to the default theme and only then it would open up the fingerprint menu.

You have to format data this happens randomly with any roms or try to flash different gapps might work

Is this pixel themed or u installed pixel launcher?

Yes

ROM is stable and battery life is better. Pixel blue is the stock color of this ROM and fingerprint works nicely. No random reboots and SuperSU works with no problems
But the ROM does not have some features or options which other ROMs offer. No option to turn off screenshot sounds and there is no option to disable voltage and temperature text which is shown on lockscreen. Also there is no option to edit power menu and no pocket detection.
No pixel lock and unlock sounds are present in this ROM.
Also some more problems I have encountered here are-
The bottom part of status part where settings, user, etc tabs are located don't open whenever I tap on them. I had to restart the device to make them work.
Whenever I restart, shutdown or restart to recovery, com.qualcomm.shutdownlistener has unfortunately stopped working comes up in back.
When I go to battery to check the battery consumption, there is an app called 39999. I don't know what is that.

Sorry cant confirm any of the problem you mentioned status bar is just fine no issue and no app named 3999 etc in stats no force close (clean flash is recommended)

Thanks for reply. I did clean install. The status bar problem was solved with a restart and the 3999 app is no longer in stats. I don't know why it was showing that time. Thanks for sharing such nice ROM. Any news that developer will maintain the build? Thanks again.

[ROM] [Unofficial] XenonHD 8.1.0 Oneplus5T

After some trial and error i managed to build XenonHD for OP5T. :highfive:
Although that being said im not a developer and have a minimal understanding of Java code, im only syncing latest repo changes from the developers.
Developers are welcome to point out some tips or a couple a bugs they can help me fix.

ARM64 > 8.1 > (I use NANO but you can use whatever)
Theoretically this supports encryption so if your encrypted you should be fine. If your decrypted however you should flash no_verity zip to stay decrypted.

Just installed and got all set up and I'm really digging this ROM. Ambient display (not always on) with music ticker, Nova Launcher pre-installed (I use modded pixel launcher), Pixel nav bar with home button animation, snap cam with bokeh option, center status bar clock, clear all recents with button positioning, double tap to sleep/wake, gestures, Substratum working well throughout (using Swift Black), snappy performance and very little lag while scrolling through Facebook/G+. I'll be sticking with this one for a bit.

Thanks for bringing this rom to the OP5T . It has been my favorite on the Mi Mix 2. But with Oreo 8.1 full screen apps does not work. Or has that been fixed already? I need to play Pokemon Go with full screen.

No problem, and yeah full screen apps work (expanded desktop Settings > Display)

Thank you for letting me know. I have tested it and indeed it is possible to have fullscreen apps on this rom. I'm glad that there is finally a custom rom on 8.1 Oreo with fully working Expanded desktop feature. Also for the rest everything is working fine and smooth. I haven't found a bug. Will you keep updating this rom once in a while?

Yeah I plan to update it weekly if possible. Just mainly sync the latest repo chnages. Nothing fancy. Thanks for your feedback.

I'm surprised why people aren't using this ROM. I recently came across this on 4pda and I'm pleasantly surprised with it's stability and feature set. So here's what you need to know before flashing.
Instructions:
Use twrp 3.2.1
Flash ROM. Magisk 17.2 is included. You can flash 19.2 over it.
No need of gapps.
Wait 3-5 mins.
If u want nav bar open build.prop and search "mainkeys". Default is 1. Set it as 0 for nav bar. But I suggest you use fluid navigation gestures.
Stuff to know:
It's based upon nougat(redmi note 4 port). But brings a lot of stuff from Oreo like stopping notifications directly from the notification shade, settings button in notification, etc.
MIUI gestures don't work. I just use fluid navigation gestures.
Most of the MIUI features like app lock, dual apps, themes, mi account, etc are working perfectly.
Sustratum theme is working. Just download Dec 2018 apk of it and you can use pitchblack for a great AMOLED experience.
Battery life is pretty good. 8-9 moderate. 6-7 heavy. If you just binge 10+ easily possible. No deep sleep issues of any sort.
Banking apps like phone pe and gpay are working with magisk hide. Also disable telephone permission from Google play services.
Bugs:
No 24W fast charging. It takes 2 hrs to go from 0-80. 2.5 for a full charge.
Again, this ROM doesn't belong to me. As a past xiaomi user I just loved the idea of getting to use MIUI again.
This ROM deserves more love.

How does this compare to miuipro_v7.0_kuntao_9.1.17 which was released in February 2019.

Don't think Gcam works but FP works.

No gcam but it comes with xiaomi's camera and footej camera can be used for video. Fp gestures work just fine. Compared MIUI 9, I feel they're very similar but the animations on this one are slick. They have snooze notifications from pie, also able to silent or put in dnd for a time limit. Nifty features have been included.

It would be great if somebody could do this.

I tried this ROM... it's really good and come with dual app feature that's needed for me... Two problems I faced are
1. Netflix official app is not compatible
2. Not able to run many banking app even with Magisk hide.
Any suggestions for these two problems?

I don't use Netflix but banking apps just work fine. Just disable phone permission on Google Play services. Then hide them using magisk

Thanks... Will try this.. I actually tried removing root itself using magisk it did not help... Let try try hiding app and disabling phone permissions on Google play services..
