Ive been trying to find a way to unlock my phone.
It was given to me from USA and its locked in T-Mobile network.
We have no idea about its T-Mobile account information and Device Unlock App always fails and says the device is not eligible for unlock.
Please help me unlock the device.
Ive seen some youtube videos and other 3rd party device unlocker but they charge in dollars ranging from $30 and more via credit card or paypal. i dont have either as well as that money.
Im from the philippines.
Please devs. badly need your help.

Hi, i got the same problem. usually i only use wifi but it would be nice to connect via hsdpa somtimes....
i tried some wifi2umts software solutions in combination with my S60 and my windows mobile phone but i could not get connection, neither via bluetooth - the connection over my defy (android) worked w/o problems.
The Hauwei S7 is sold in the U.S.A unlocked. It's hard to believe it's unlocked here and locked overseas. It's usually the other way around.
how much does it sell for in the US?
I picked up my T Touch for $250.
Any postings I had seen on ebay for the s7 had it at $350-$450

...found a service company that offers the unlock codes for almost every device/provider - happy now with my unlocked S7!!!

I'm wondering if changing to one of the overseas kernals would cause it to be unlocked anyway. I know that some people have been playing with various versions over at the android tablets forum.

Correction and info for you. I have the australian version reflashed to US. It does not unlock the phone.

They come locked to Telstra in Australia. I heard some people have success talking to someone in Huawei.

Hi.. Do you mean Ideo S7?? By using unlock codes you can unlock your mobile. And this is easy too. I had search the service for your mobile. Just visit the following link and get the codes from there. http://www.superunlockcodes.com/huawei-ideos-s7-unlocking-service/rs12wp10/ . It having the service for your mobile. Here you have to give your mobile's IMEI number and other required details. So it will be helpful to generate unlock codes for your mobile. After that their information will guide you to unlock your mobile. Then you can use it to any network.

yes is true i purchased mine for $99.99 via Ebay.
I rooted my device and runs great i can also install custom roms at will.
i use TWRP Recovery this is great for the price $99.99 Unlocked
Wanted to know how it would work if I was to buy the S7 from AT&T (want to make sure to have access to Samsung pay) and be able to unlock it to travel and use while in Germany. I know that I wont get all the bands in Germany with the USA phone but would it be better than spending the money on the international version and not getting Samsung pay to activate? Since I'll only be there for a month I'll pick up a prepaid Sim and throw that in it when I get in country.

After submitting the request to unlock the device they denied my request, saying the device is already activated on another account. Is there anyway to switch the device to my account so they know I own it?

If you paid the full price of the phone, you should be able to submit a request for unlock with AT&T without having to claim "non-AT&T mobility customer" option. I bought and paid for mine and submitted an unlock request that was approved.
I did pay in full, I bought the device from swappa.com. The problem now is att is telling me the phone is activated on another account... And therefor they will not give me a code. I understand that this would be to stop from stolen phones.
Would a third party be the way to go in this situation? Could anyone recommend one?

i got unlock code for my bell s5 w8 variant for less than $12 Canadian from ebay seller
Its hard to find a method to unlock your phone sim. I always go to ebay coz its cheaper than the one from carrier stores or online store. Around $15 only.

Best advice you can get on XDA is to check Ebay, Just make sure to check reviews on each seller.

The cost depends on the network on which the phone is locked and how fast you want the code. At least these are the factors considered when my suppliers offer codes.
Just an update. I tried using the unlock device app on wifi but it said it couldn't connect to server. Then I put in a tmobile sim. Still wouldnt unlock. Found a Verizon Sim and unlocked successfully. Weird...

I would like some help regarding unlocking a Sprint Galaxy S8. Sprint will not unlock the phone for me so I have to do it through a third party. I've been reading a couple forums but I am a little bit confused. When I go to third party websites they will send me an unlock code, I have to insert the other sim and then I have to enter the code. But I've also read some threads about an unlocking app or that you have to install something, I'm not sure. I was hoping someone could clarify this for me and help me out.

you would have to use a third party website, I recently unlocked my sprint galaxy s8 with the octopus box since I ordered one. just be careful with which site you are going to use to get the unlocking service.
