Sounds like you're already to reset it. The main idea of bypassing FRP is to get into google so you can get into the settings menu. If you can download apps and are also able to access settings you should be able to disable the device manager, enable third party (unknown) apps, turn on USB (in developer setings). Have you disabled back-up? Have you gone into the app manager and wiped the data from Google, Google Manager, Google Play Services? It won't reset like you want it to unless you do all that. Good luck.

Although this is a galaxy 10.1 it's apparently is in the wrong section. Your tablet (the T580) is Galaxy Tab A 10.1. This section is for the Galaxy Tab Pro or the P700 series.

(Help) Accessing locked tab

Hi everyone, my problem is our demo model at my work had a lock pattern put on it. Its been messed up to the point where you have to entee your gmail info. But no one remembers it. Is there anyway to do a factory reset without having to go into settings or anything i can do? Thanks in advance.
Sent from my SCH-I510
According to Acer's support site, you'll have to send it back to them for a full reset.
However, if you search the forums there should be a way to push a 'clean' ROM image through a connected PC.
In either case any user info will be gone.
Maybe this little trick might help: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1132760
Have you tried using the Android Market to unlock it "from the inside"?.
Have a look at installing this app via the Market, it will unlock your device;
https://market.android.com/details?id=se.curity.android.screenlockbypass
Of course, you tablet will need to be linked to the market, and connected to the internet to receive the "Install" intent from the Android Market.
We had a customer thought it would be funny to put a pattern lock on our demo unit. I had one of my people call and they were able to help us unlock over the phone. I dont remember what they had us do though.

[Q] google play cant download google talk error [solved]

Hi,
here comes my next problem.
I rooter my kf and installed android market and google services framework. On the first start the market want me to sign in and updates to google play. After my sign in I get an error that google services framework has stooped. After restarting I can enter the shop but if wanna download an app, there comes an error ".. could not be downloaded due to an error (921)" and after a short time I get a message in the upper left corner "google talk authentication failed" .
I tried a lot to solve this.
The market got worker after I reinstalled it and signed in with an new acc. Then I got no error. But I want to use my regular google acc. Somebody has got a hint for me?
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
seems that you have settings on your regular account that interfere with the capabilities of the kf (ie google talk)
maybe it's the better way to use different accounts for the kf and for your other devices
if you don't have other devices anymore you could try to go to google account configuration website -> dashboard and delete the other android devices
Yea thought about that too. I have got a samsung galaxy gt s5830. I bought some apps on that account and want to use them on my kf too. And I want to use that google mail acc on my kf too. :/ I was looking in my google acc settings if I can configure something but did not find anything.
someone had an idea?
did you try to configure settings on the kf or on the google website (maybe with computer) ?
On the website. But with the kf. I was thinking about deleting my other device temporally. But google does not allow it. I can only hide it. I think I will hide it and try my old account again.
[Edit]Did not worked, same error :/ [/edit]
just in the process of searching for a solution - found this one so far:
To the OP I had this issue with updating from cm9 beta 0 to beta 1 and it would give me 921 and a 4## error.. but after a while it fixed itself like it was never anything wrong =] google is jacking up with their new play market so #blamegoogle

So maybe I just have to wait ?
I thought about getting the talk.apk and installing it. I was reading something about deactivating some sync options and that this talk app has to sign in at google.
sounds logically ...
found an other one:
I had a couple of error 921 (i think) but a couple of retries they installed

seems google has some big problems ...
update: this one looks promising:

Yea..I hope time will help. I just fixed permissions and deleted dalvic. But it makes no change. You found it on twitter? [Edit]thanks I will try that[/edit]
just updated my last post - look at post #911 & #912
btw: not twitter - google is your friend ...
Man, you are realy good, thanks for your help. Your posted link worked for me. =D
glad to help ...

After cloning a samsung gio s5660 through a CWM backup I started experiencing the same issue. Heres What REALLY happens.
Google authenticates you in their services trought unique "keys" which are automatically generated upon system installation / factory reset, so if you clone your device or install a rom which has these "keys" pre-installed, obviously, your rom will only autheticate you in google servers if your phone is the only one using the service at that given time... Upon failure, your phone assumes to be the one who's wrong, and google servers won't autheticate you until you either tell your phone he is not wrong (by deleting the data from play store, which resets its status and errors) or you change the "keys". SO, what can we learn from this? deleting the play store data IS a temporary solution, and won't solve a thing. Let's delete the duplicated keys shall we?
Navigate with your favourite folder explorer on your android (I use X-plore, you can tell me anything, there's nothing better) to the following directory:
- "(root)/data/data/com.google.android.gsf"
Now you have two real options, either you may delete the all folder, which was the perfect solution for me, since my rom is prepared to re-create it upon phone restart and new keys will be generated, OR, you might want to just delete the contents of app_sslcache inside com.google.android.gsf whish are THE KEYS I HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS ALL TIME, YEEEIHHHH and reboot your phone...
Needless to say, take a nandroid backup before you do any of this...
Thank me later
For those who remember me from symbian s60v3 phones, yes, it is me, I'm back, and I've moved to the droid world, it's much better indeed
Ps. Moderators, please test this out, I've done it countless times, or else I wouldn't be wasting my time writting this, and make this the "Clonning" for cwm and Google talk authentication error solution, if you will thank you for your time reading my post, regards---

[Q] Google Now Cards Missing - Unable to Activate

Hi,
Recently upgraded to kitkat 4.4 and cannot activate Google Now. I go into Google Now and it just shows the search and nothing else
(No Cards). I also cannot activate it from the settings menu. I am currently located in China but it works fine for my Galaxy Nexus.
Any Ideas? I've tried factory reset and re-flashing the factory image. Also of course erasing the data and cache from Google Search.
Regards,
Bobbie
Same here
Same problem here! Please post if you find out how to fix ths. I'm also based in China now.

Check your "Google Settings" - is Google Now turned OFF ?
Go to Settings, Account & look under your Google Account - Syncs ON ?
Hi,
In my google settings there is no reference to Google now! o.o I'm sure it was there before updating...
Also, yes, all the sync is turned on under my Google account in the settings menu.
Is it possible that google now is simply not availiable in China? I updated my Nexus with a chinese sim card inside, this time.

Stock roms & kernels (or minimal modifications} ??
Access to Google's server from China (and the lack of) is one likely reason - even if the Apps are working & functioning, including location reporting since authorities do filter broadband traffic.
Can you access weather reports for Beijin, Guangzhou & Hong Kong via Google Now and/or via Google Search on the stock Chrome Browser? If it is working, those Now "cards" should be filled & showing up like ours here in the USA.
The stock KitKat 4.4 roms all have these apps, unless they are somehow remotely disabled and/or blocked - reasons for why we use Hangouts with ease while folks on the other half of the world are using WeChat instead ...
The solution requires a rooted phone.
Install Nova launcher and titanium backup.
Download the apk for Google Search 2.6.xx. You can find this easily.
Use titanium backup to uninstall Google search. This is why you have to install Nova. Otherwise you won't have a launcher.
Install Google search 2.6. You will be asked if you want to use Google now. Press yes.
Go to the Google play store and update to latest Google search. Now google now cards will be enabled. That's it. Kind of a pain but the only way to do it in China as far as I know. Hope this helps.

FRP Unlock on Asus Zenpad 8 S P01M Z580C

I sold a Asus Zenpad 8 S P01M Z580C to a guy on ebay. He complained about it and set it back. I have the box and everything.
The thing is, I can't log in because of FRP Google Lock. I've tried waiting 24 hrs and 72 hrs. No luck. It won't unlock. I keep getting the message: "Device Reset. Sign in with a Google Account that was Previously Synced." The guy has sent me links, but nothing substantial to help. I would like to unlock the FRP using the safest way possible. He even said he cleared his google accounts off the device.
I'm able to get to chrome, but that's pretty much where my success stops. Can anyone help me get into this device? I own it, and it's really frustrating that I'm being stymied on this.

Update: The tablet is running Android 6.0.1. I'm able to get to the Settings menu (selected text within the Chrome browser, and then went to "Assist", then searched for "Settings"), but I can't turn the tablet's developer options on or anything like that. Anyone have a clue? I guess I just want to know the best way to unlock this.
I have another update. I was able to find the Build info for this tablet, and get to developer status, but the developer status now only tells me that "those options are not available for this user" or something.
Okay, I feel like this should have been clearer, but here it goes.
There are a couple ways to get to the Chrome browser, and that's what you want to do. What I did was type in the login field, select the text, and then select "ASSIST" in the pop-up window.
When the Google App appears, start typing "Chrome." Select the Chrome app when it appears.
In Chrome, search for "Test DPC Apk." Dowload. Open and install. You'll have to give permission to use unkown third-party apps in settings. Once installed, run. Select "Set up device owner." Keep going through all the options. Expect the tablet to restart a couple times. Then go to settings and do a factory reset.
This website helped a bit, but they get some key stuff wrong: https://techwelkin.com/device-reset-sign-in-google-account-previously-synced

Got this phone, but it's blocked by Google verification - how to bypass?

Hey everyone, I hope I'm in the correct forum for this. A friend gifted me his old smartphone, actually it was his uncle's phone who passed away. Now Google won't let me use it, because we don't have the correct login-data. A watched tons of youtube videos, but it seems they're all outdated. The latest are downloading a new keyboard language (this seems to have been fixed) or accessing the YouTube app through clicking on a video in the "help and feedback" section in the TalkBack settings (YouTube is outdated on my phone, so it wants me to update it, but the "not now" option is not available, so I guess this has been fixed as well).
So is there any new method how to bypass this FRP unlock thing? Thanks in advance for answers.
