I've bought your software MobileNavigon|5 ( This is not cracked version !!!!) . I've installed it on my Pocket PC MDA Compact ( ROM 1.11). I'm using it with BT Rikaline 6031-x7.
Here is a list with all issues / problems I've found in your software:
1. To designate and show the route from i.e. Katowice to Budapest, MN5 needs 117 seconds !!!!!
2. It is impossible to navigate using MN5 because it shows you information from the past. For example, I've stopped my car on crossroad and MN5 software showed me, that I drive my car with 37 km/h !!!!!. This is obviously readout from the past - like 10 seconds old or something.
3. When GPS is started, than MN5 works extremaly slowly and every operation - like pressing button or refreshing the screen - takes about 30 seconds !!!!!!
4. When Pocket PC switches off, you software looses BT/GPS connection. It is required to re-start software again to get it communicate with GPS back.
5. When MN5 starts my bt gps device ( RIKALINE 6031-X7 connected via BT), my Pocket PC cannot perform any other operation. I cannot make or pick up the phone call, cannot start pocket outlook, IE or any other software.
Any idea ?
Regards,
Darek

A wired gps instead of bluetooth tends to fix these kind of problems, bluetooth is a great idea but I now always use wired gps for navigation because of the inherent problems with bluetooth.
but this BT GPS works perfectly with TT,Destinator and other navigation software except this f... navigon5.
I tested it with all GPS software ( VisualGPS, GPSTweak, WinFast Navigator) and everything is OK.
I found file spgps.ini file with settings

Hello,
After they have broken into my car i had to buy an new GPS receiver. In that case i bought the new Adapt AD850 receiver but somehow it is not working right!.
First of all i have an second PDA (HTC Touch) and on that one the GPS is working 100% fine without any troubles. Then what happens:
I am able to connect it by bluetooth and create the bluetooth profile (com ports and so on). So that seems to work .... after that i start any program that uses the GPS like TomTom or GPSTuner. It finds the GPS and get an fix and will let me navigate. 30 seconds later or so it will lose the GPS and has no connection for an short while. Again it connects and has an connection and will lose it again after an while. After about 3 lost connections the connections stay's and works fine and will stay working until i stop the program and start the program again.
I think it is not an software problem as 2 different programs have the same problem. Also it seems the GPS is fine as it works 100% on my other PDA. I also have changed the OS of my Wizard. I was running MB6 and that one worked verry fine with my old GPS. After noticing this problem with my new GPS i replaced the rom and it runs TNT last version now. But also then the problem still exists.
Does anyone have any idea what could be happening?
Thanx,
Jerome
Hi,
my Iolite has some Problems with bluetooth. I use bluetooth with naviprograms, such as Navigon 6.20 or iGO 8. With both programs I use an external TMC-Mouse (GNS 5843), which I connect over bluetooth over serial port 6. The connecting functions without problems, but after a time (sometimes after 5 Minutes, sometimes after 1 hour or so...) the connection breaks, bluetooth has stopped on the Iolite. When I switch it on again, everything is o.k. till the next break...
Has anyone else this problem and is there a solution?

Hi
I have installed tomtom 7 version 7.450 / 7.451 both these version install fine and work apart from the fact they dont display how many sats are in range it is blank as if nothing but still works (annoying).
I also installed the latest one which is 7.915.916 (i think) this one again works fine and shows the sats but tomtom Traffic wont enable, just comes back saying need to setup a connection on the phone or in tomtom home (connection already there of course and works fine on 7.450/7.451).
Version 7.910.9185 (think this is correct) seems to work ok with traffic as well but ALL verisons seem to suffer from the same problem and that is when you connect it to tomtom home it displays the device id that is connected to the tomtom account and then shows the device connected to the computer as being different. The serial no's of both devices are identical apart from on the on tomtom thinks is registered to the account has a capital letter at the start and for some reason it has lower case letters in the middle (still the same serial no). the one that is says you are connecting to the computer displays the correct serial with NO capital T and letters in the middle are all caps. very strange indeed. Have rung tomtom and got them to reset my account. this works the first time you then connect to tomtom home, but as soon as you disconect and reconnect it says the device is not linked to the account displays the serial no slightly different to what it should be.
This usually would not be a problem but i have a speed camera subscription with tomtom and I cannot get them to download because of this. My traffic works fine and the actual device code stays the same within tomtom just this serial no issue.
I have tried all tomtom homes ranging from 1.5 right the way through to 2.6 (latest), 1.5 does work to a certain degree and does not show the serial no error but does not work with v7+8 maps so useless.
Anyone got any thoughts or is this a tomtom problem because they dont officially support the device ?
If not i will just go back to using my pocket world camera subscription, just easier to use this as you can download the updates to cameras whilst on the move.
Thanks
Update.
It appears you can download the camera updates manually from the tomtom site so now not too much of a problem, but definately one to watch out for if you have any extra paid for services from tomtom with this phone.
tom tom
i installed the same version of tom tom, but now my bluetooth will not start up, does anybody have a soluton for this problem

This is to do with the 2 bt files contained in the cab file you installed, only way to get back for me when i done this was to hard reset. I then removed the 2 files from the cab file using wincab manager.
there is a thread on this forum about this very problem.
For other people....
regarding my original issue on post#1, i have now installed the tomtom camera's manually as this works fine. I will try out TTHome once they release a version that is definitely compatible with the Touch Pro 2. For now i will use 7.451 as although the sats dont display on screen this still works and does not seem to suffer the lag when navigating like the later version i.e. 7.915.916 / 7.910
I have 2x HTC Universal's (Jasjar's to be precise) and 2x xv6700's that I'd like to pair, configure, and make work with the Delorme BT-20 (and Street Atlas USA Plus 2009) I purchased. As of right now I am having problems and I'm asking for help getting this done. I've never used a GPS on windows mobile before, so I'm not sure what info to offer up. Here's what I can think of that might be relevant:
Setup:
* I have successfully paired the BT-20 over bluetooth with 2 different laptops, both running xp-pro 32 bit.
* I have connected the BT-20 to 4 different laptops (the 2 above, plus two more) via USB, one of which has Vista Home Premium 32 bit and the other Windows 2000.
* I can connect over bluetooth with both of the JasJars to the PC I maintain my contacts on and sync with them. (so bluetooth works)
* I can connect over bluetooth with the xv6700x to the other bluetooth enabled laptop I use (for software downloads, and RemoteAmp use). (so bluetooth works)
Problems
* I can't confirm when and if the phone is connected to the GPS device. There is supposed to be LED feedback on the BT-20 when it is connected to a device over bluetooth (an LED that stays lit), which does indicate a connection on a laptop, but not on the WM devices I have tried.
* Initially I couldn't even get the device to pair to my Windows mobile devices. Today I was able to get it to pair to a JaJar with Tomal's most recent 6.1 build.
* Usually trying to pair the device was a game of cat and mouse, very similar to this:
"""I've tried every setup suggestion I’ve found on how to setup the “Earthmate BT-20 GPS” on my new Mogul. Anytime I enter a passcode of any kind I get the messagebox “Your device did not connect with Earthmate BT-20 GPS. The connection failed or the passcode is incorrect.” The blue light has stops blinking and goes dark. Subsequent attempts fail until the BT-20 is rebooted.
With the No passcode it ends with the blue light OFF, but get message “Earthmate BT-20 GPS wants to connect with your device using Bluetooth. Do you want to add Earthmate BT-20 GPS to your device list?” I answer YES and it prompts again for the passcode, this time the “Next” is disabled until something is entered. I enter the 0000 code and it fails again with “Your device did not connect with Earthmate BT-20 GPS. The connection failed or the passcode is incorrect.” After clicking ok it seems to still be trying to connect (spinning color thingie) but lets me through to the “Serial Port” selection, which I select and click “Finish”. * The Delorme software can see the virtual COM port that the windows GPS manager creates, but I get an immediate message saying that the phone cannot connect to the GPS.
* The Delorme software cannot see the hardware port that the GPS is assigned in the bluetooth management settings.
Misc notes
* There is an option to allow windows to middle manage the GPS connection. This sounds cool, and there are so few options, I imagine it should just work. The Delorme software can see the virtual COM port that this package creates, but I get an immediate message saying that the phone cannot connect to the GPS.
* I have tried to call Delorme Tech support. That was a monumental exercise in fail. The guy said that because I was able to connect over bluetooth to GPS device it was not bad and refused to send me a new one. And that is literally all he said. I take that back, he did say that there were no magic tricks to get it working, that it should just work. I did tell him that I tried 4 different phones.
* I have never used a GPS on a WM device, so its quite possible I'm making a n00b mistake. Please feel free to tell me if I am.
* I get the impression that this is so simple and its just supposed to work.
* I have re-installed it once after I configured the Windows GPS manager. That did not seem to affect the outcome of trying to connect to it.
* I was able to get the unit successfully connected over bluetooth only after removing the battery for about a minute or two. I found that trick online somewhere, and while it helped for the laptops, did not for the WM devices.

Status update
I contacted Delorme Tech support. Over the phone was useless, but when I emailed them, I was issued an advance replacement (the email guy was pretty helpful).
However, that does not appear to have fixed the problem(s). It seems that the problem is in the communication settings of the phone, or the setup of either the phone of the software, or the bluetooth connection itself. I still cannot make the Delorme software find the COM port that windows makes for the unit, but the software will find the virtual COM port the windows GPS manager makes.
Any ideas out there?
