I have noticed that when clearing a system app’s it will disappear from Greenify. I am going to contact Oasis Feng about this bug (not much of a bug since its experimental).

Because with Xposed you can activate other parts of the donation features. Also you need it if you want to Greenify System Apps that are not User accessible (like Bluetooth Share, com.android.smspush etc.), which means you can't access them with out Xposed, but you don't need Posed for apps like Google Play, Settings, Calendar etc.

Well currently I'm also using stock with some mods but the main issue is battery drain so which ROM can I use to reduce battery drain..
I got an increase in battery life an amazing one that is by doing the privacy guard thingy that is mentioned in the forum. You switch off wake up autostart and keep awake in advance options in the advance tab under privacy guard which is in the privacy tab and the battery increase was insane. Search the forum for a better tutorial. It will surely help

1- Do a Dalvik cache wipe.
2- Flash a custom kernel. [I'd suggest Sandy 1.3 CPUQuiet build]
3- Keep governor at interactive>>runnable [this is the default, optimized for more battery] or interactive>>load_stats [this should improve performance at higher loads]
4- Enable MSM Thermal [this should fix the heating problem]
5- use Greenify 2.6+ with Xposed, if you're not using it already [this should help in hibernation]
6- Use Recently [this should stop the infamous memory leak Lollipop is known for]
7- Use Amplify for controlling all device wakelocks [this should help maintaining the CPU activity]
8- You can access PrivacyGuard and close the wake up and keep awake switches for all apps you think are necessary [this should reduce the CPU idle usage]
^Do all these and I don't think you need to worry about your battery at all.
Also, can you tell me which app uses most of your battery?

1- MSM Thermal is actually a kernel feature. You may use Device Control to activate it.
1- Also you can use Temperature Throttle from TricksterMod.
2- Xposed for our device is a pain in the butt.
Try to find an xposed sdk21 arm64 zip. Normal arm builds won't work because we have an arm64 CPU. The zip is unstable though. Flash it and reboot.
Then find an apk file xposed 3 alpha 3
If you can't find them I will provide the links soon.
Then use the modules you want.
3- classic. The PrivacyGuard thing should help in this.
I'm being curious, but what kind of mods have you originally applied on your phone?

Nexus 5 with Andoird P experience [UPDATED]

Hi guys! Here is some guide how to get Android P appearance on our Nexus 5 devices.
You need to have:
1) Rootless Pixel 2 Launcher by paphonb
https://github.com/paphonb/PixelLauncherModV6/releases (download latest release)
better to install it like system app instead default launcher
2) Android P-ify module by paphonb
https://github.com/paphonb/AndroidP-ify/releases (download latest release)
It's a Xposed module, so firstly you have to install latest Xposed Framework V90-beta3 and Xposed Installer
3) Pi Light [substratum] by Christopher Kardas
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.HarshV23.PiLight (for Light theme)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.HarshV23.PiDark (for Dark theme)
BE CAREFUL! This Substratum theme has some the same features like in Android P-ify, so you have enable only two features!
You need to enable:
- Android System (select Large StatusBar (Essential Ph1)) see screenshoot
- System UI (select Rounded Corners) see screenshoot
4) Navigation Bar. I use SmartBar with custom icons of buttons.
Go to Settings -> Extentions-> Navigation -> Navigation Bar;
then select SmartBar in Navigation mode and go to SmartBar settings;
after enable Edit Mode and change icons of navigation buttons using attachments below.
Also I've set navbar height to 80%.
ic_sysbar_home_dark.png + ic_sysbar_action_dark.png (for Light theme accent)
ic_sysbar_home_light.png + ic_sysbar_action_light.png (for Dark theme accent)
5) Google Product Sans font.
Install Magisk Manager and open it. Download "Google Product Sans" module, install it and reboot device.
If you want the clock widget like this - follow the post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76743037&postcount=16
All of this actions I was doing on AOSP Extended ROM V5.5 (also works fine on 5.7)
but you can try it on any other Oreo 8.1 ROM
ENJOY IT! :fingers-crossed:

First off, thank you OP for sharing this. However, some users have pointed out to me that an unofficial site was linked to share the Pi light Substratum theme I published. Could you kindly have the official Play Store link in your post, not a third party site? I don't endorse the use of APK Pure in any way. Cheers! :highfive:

Thanks! My name still refers to APK Pure, please remove the link or give me proper credits. Except that, you're all good! Great tutorial you published here.

Hi!) I'm using Seven Time
Install it and choose > Seven < in clock Styles. Also you can try to resize the clock as you want and pick the color.
< see my settings in attachments >
