put the rom zip file in external sd card, boot with hold up +home+power TWRP, AND SELECT INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD, and choose the local folder where you copy rom to your sd card.

You have to install CWM recovery to flash GingerDX. Then you have to reboot to CWM and choose Install update ZIP from sd card, find GDX zip file and select it to flash it.

how can i install CWM please sir guide me step by step i will be so thankful to u!
Use this to install CWM recovery and copy custom ROM zip file to sd card. After that reboot your phone and tap screen several times until it goes to CWM. Then go to Install update zip from sd card and find it. Press on it, it will ask you to confirm your choice and after flashing ROM do full wipe. Of course make NAND backup before.
my rom was xginv5.0 before now i sucessfully installed gingerdxv10 it gives me CWM then i try to install gingerdxv19 and its sucess to installed but my problem is from xgin5.0 to gingerdxv10 up to gingerdxv19 the interface of my phone doesnt change just the startup only change what is wrong?

I don't think your phone is bricked.
During the installation of the Stock Roms the recovery.img and boot.img files get replaced/modified and that's why your phone gets stuck at the Huawei logo.
Try the following:
Boot the phone in Bootloader (pink screen) by holding Vol+, Vol- and Power, format the partition with FAT32, create a folder called "image" and copy the following files on there.
EMMCBOOT - http://www.mediafire.com/?lb6ifvgk72iru4a
AMSS.MBN - http://www.mediafire.com/?d6r45q6p5gew59v
Recovery.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?57njygc8oianjac
Boot.img - http://www.mediafire.com/?6d5i0714a7o9z97
Once the files are copied, just disconnect the USB cable and remove the battery. Then boot into Recovery by pressing the Vol+ and Power. If you manage to get into CWM Recovery, then it's all good, you can install a custom Rom like Oxygen (
https://sourceforge.net/projects/u8800oxygen/files/ ) by selecting "install zip from SD Card" option.
You'll probably have to use the MOUNT functions within the Recovery to transfer the Oxygen.zip file to your root folder of the SD Card.

When you will have custom ROM installed you can try installing offcial 2.3 again (follow the guide that comes with the update and make sure it is for your phone (U8800/U8800pro))

thx dude saved my life but how can i install official 2.3? can you show me some step or should i do the official 2.3 folder into zip? sorry for my bad english
Download the official 2.3.5 from here: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwi...=toDownloadFile&flay=software&softid=NDM2NDk=
Then format SD and create dload folder on the root of SD card. Then unzip the downloaded update and copy update.app in dload folder. Everything is also described in the pdf that is in the zip of the official ROM
If you find a mirror for the official beta2 version then you can also flash this (beta2 has unlocked bootloader while final has locked bootloader(pink screen))
Hi,for some reasons I can't get Odin to work properly.I have B5510JPKJ4 firmware and I want to install it into my samsung Galaxy Y Pro gt-b5510.
Is there any solution to convert this firmaware into .zip or something else to make it installable through SD Card?
The firmware got these 3 files:
DefaultCalDataWithBoot_B5510JXKJ1_REV03.tar.md5
FOTA_AP_B5510JPKJ4.tgz
FOTA_CSC_B5510OJPKJ1.tgz
Or can I simply add .tgz files into SD Card and install them through recovery mode?

Save CWM by skin1980 in the root of sdcard(/sdcard)
Save the DDLE1 backup u got here nd save it in sdcard.. the backup will be saved in a folder which has a path similar to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2012-03-09.17.40.45/
Then Restart into stock recovery
Install the zip(Skin1980 zip)
CWM will open up(Yellow fonts)..
Select backup&restore>restore
If u hv saved in correct location as I stated.. U'll get that in the list..
Select it.. pick yes restore...
It'll take hardly 5-10mins
Enjoy!!

if you can get into recovery mode you can either
1. restore a nandroid backup
2. format system data cache - mount system data cache - flash a custom rom zip
if you cant get into recovery mode then go into download mode and flash stock rom via odin (requires a pc)

So I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J500F which suddenly refused to boot in any way (normal, recovery, download). I booted TWRP from external SD card but it shows Internal Storage (0 MB). Can't mount or do anything. Is there something to do or is it a hardware issue?
In Odin try to flash different versions of the stock firmware its the only way to restore it.

I can't. Everything that I am flashing through Odin goes into the external SD card. For the example, tried to flash TWRP and it flashed onto the external SD card. And I cannot go into download mode without the external SD card. Trying to remove it before pressing volume up to confirm makes Odin say no PIT file found and when I flash the PIT it gives error.

The only way to restore the phone is by flashing stock firmware in odin.
Twrp and everything else will go to the SD card only the stock firmware will flash to the phone.
Enter download mode WITH the SD card in and go through the steps on Odin to flash stock firmware and absolutely nothing else, no twrp, no custom firmware it has to be 100% pure stock rom or it will flash to the SD card and not internal storage.
Stock firmware contains the necessary PIT files and everything so don't try flashing different PIT files.
This is the only method to restore the device

I understand, but for example if I have TWRP on SD card then I flash via Odin, it hangs at system.img.ext4 (left it over 15 hours). Before system it flashes recovery so I disconnected after 15 hours just to find out the SD card had the stock recovery.

Dont put twrp on the SD card.
Boot into download and just flash stock.
Once the device is restored do what you want and install twrp and whatever you want but don't do it at the start.
You wont be able to restore unless everything is stock

Thats strange.
You're sure its not hardware related?
The only thing I can think of now is to try with different versions of the stock rom (different country firmware)
Like you came this far we must be able to fix it.
Im going to do a bit of reading about the issue now and see if there is anything you can try

I don't know. This is the story of how it got bricked:
Powered it on some days ago and it showed the Samsung logo with the "odin mode" text in the top-left corner. I thought I accidentally entered download mode so I held down volume down+power until the screen turned black. And after that it didn't boot at all until I managed to make this bootable SD card.
What I find strange is that Odin keeps flashing on my SD card instead of the internal storage. If I enter download mode then remove the SD card and try to flash via Odin it complains that no PIT partition was found. If I have TWRP installed on the SD card, download mode says "CURRENT BINARY: Custom" but as soon as I try to flash via Odin the official recovery.img (it flashes before it hangs at system.img.ext4) and restart the phone it says "CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official". Also if I power it on from the SD card normally or in recovery it shows the blue screen that wants me to connect to Smart Switch but the app does not recognize the phone.
Another thing is that if I reboot into download mode with the SD card but only press power up to confirm after I remove the SD card the first thing to show in the top-left corner is "ddi: mmc_read_failed" and if I try to flash with Odin, Odin says no PIT partition found and the phone shows in the top-left corner the last line as "ODIN : flash read failure".
If I power it on without the SD card it doesn't do anything, not even vibrate.
